I actually got scolded for jaywalking in VA Beach once. I was almost to the other side and they could have just let me finish and come back across the street the right way no harm no foul, but they were dicks and had me go all the way back the way I came. But I wasn't arrested for it. If I would have been, damn, I woulda been a pissed off puppy.
So yeah, I can see warned and set straight, but jail? WTF is up w/that shit?

They could have just put jaywalking on the report and not had to worry about adding anything else, so he probably did fail to comply to their orders. I don't see why it is so hard to picture him breaking the law, just look at him.
