*Merged* General WWE Releases Wrestlers' Discussion

My reaction to all these, who gives a fuck? Out of all the releases the biggest shock (I use the term loosely) is Luke Gallows and he would have gone no further than a mid card title, if he was even lucky enough to get there. Let me break down each one individually.

Luke Gallows: As I said he is probably the biggest shock of all the releases, but that isn't really saying much. He was ok and probably could have been a solid mid carder but he is no real loss as he was about a generic of a big man as you could get, little mic skills, ok at best in the ring and no charisma.

Shad: This should come as a shock to no one to put it nicely the guy was shit and as soon as Cryme Tyme broke up this was inevitable. Like Gallows he was nothing more than a generic big man who is easily replace. The only real difference between him and Gallows is at least Luke had some skill, he was OK on the ring and on the mic, Shad had absolutely no skills either area.

Vance Archer: Basically the same as the other two, generic big man who was never going to go anywhere.

Caylen Croft: This is the biggest loss in my view, I really thought The Dudebusters had potential as both tag and singles stars. They seem good in the ring and have some decent mic skills/charisma. Still this isn't a huge loss but I think he would have been worth keeping around.

Jillian and Tiffany: Both were absolute shit. That is all there is to say.

and now this year:

shad gaspard --i think they didnt give him a chance as a single player
luke gallows --didnt give him a chance
jillian hall -- her time was up
vance archer -- i thought he could of made a mark
caylen croft-- dude busters had talent, they were the only ones i watched on superstars

i wish i could go to wwe and slap them silly. some of them it looks like they didnt even think about them.

Seriously, if a wrestler doesn't draw money or put asses in the seats why keep them around. All of these guys were midcard forever. At the end of the day WWE is a business and this makes perfect busines sense to get rid of these guys who draw shit and start spending it on others. You can only give a guy so many shots and if they can't do it, they can't do it.

I don't understand all these Luke Gallow marks, the guy had a shot as Jesse and Festus tag team was lame, gets another shot as the muscle for CM Punk, never showed me shit. Straight up WWE is the big leagues, he couldn't cut it, throw a guy like Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Batista, do I really have to go on, as CM Punk's muscle and they would have broken out, Gallows is just not great sorry.

I'm fine with all of these... ecstatic, actually, with Vance Archer. There's a ton of "big guys" at the WWE's disposal... why waste your time with one who has a tramp stamp? That would seriously impede his ability for upward mobility down the road.

I was sort of sad at first that 1/2 of the Dudebusters is gone, but as I just wrote in another thread recently, anyone in a WWE tag team is kind of doomed. From what I saw from him, I really think that Baretta has the ability to become a successful comedy mid-carder. So cutting Croft might be the best thing for him.

I Acturaly Agree With Ferbian On This One .
As opposed to Shad, this is certainly a big shame. Luke had grown incredibly much on me ever since the Straight Edge Society, and I think he could've easily become a force to be reckoned with in the mid-card to replace Kane's lacking presence in the mid-card (obviously not with the same amount of jobbing).

But I must admit I'm not surprised. Ever since the Straight Edge Society broke up, Luke hasn't been on television. I'm guessing this is all due to the whole "We got nothing creatively for the guy" thing that has struck others before. And I'm really not surprised that they don't have that either. Especially considering Smackdown has produced some good programming as of late, and would probably struggle a bit to fit Luke into the whole thing.

Either way, I hope he finds another place to wrestle quickly. Cause it's certainly a shame.

He Right He Would Of Replaced Kane When The Time Was Right . He Was A Good Wrestler And I Wouldnt Seem Suprised To See Him Cross The Line .

Shad Going For Me Isnt A Shock . Once Cryhme Tyhme Split Up His Days Were Numbered .

I Am Not The Biggest Fan Of Divas So I Am Not To Intersead .

"Can You Dig It ...... You Suckaaa "

Shad was an okay guy to have around. Agree with numerous other posts, No big loss at all. As a matter of fact, it isn't even a small loss. Shad is decent at best and that is truly all he would or could ever be.

No disrespect towards him. Better to be decent, than horrible. But he doesn't bring anything noteworthy to the table at all. Hopefully he can figure something out to still receive a paycheck. I can see him in future gimmick matches down the road, teaming with JTG. Much like the gimmick Battle Royals we have seen and things along those lines.

Shad just never had the "IT" factor. Good luck to him!

Shad as a singles star was shit so no big loss there. I never understood why Cryme Tyme was broken up. They were easily the most over team the WWE had and together they were very entertaining. As singles guys neither ever stood a chance. Now Shad is gone and JTG is nothing but a jobber. As a team they could be tag champs. Some teams just aren't meant to be broken up eg. The Dudley Boyz.

I am not bothered about Shad. WWE have Ezeikel Jackson back on the roster who is a similar size and build to Shad, and better in the ring, so he will not be missed. He did seem a nice guy though, so I hope he gets back into the ring somewhere else soon

Gallows on the other hand was a useful guy to have around. In the SES he improved and has been wasted since. WWE really dropped the ball on the SES, they had so much potential and it is a shame that the faction was scrapped as it really gave CM Punk a platform on which to showcase his heel persona, which I think is the best in the world right now.

Luke had got into great shape, come up with a good finisher and I think he and Mercury should have had a run with the tag team titles to give some credibility to the SES. Unfortunately, Joey got injured almost right away and then WWE just gave up on Gallows. Shame

I'm not that surprised by most of the recent string of wrestlers who got future endeavoured. Luke Gallows.... How sad is it that his best run was probably as the Fake Kane? At least his character change was not as bad as when his former tag team partner became Slam Master J. He won't be missed. Shad wasn't that great either. JTG was always the better half of their team but it seems that he has been reduced to jobber status now. He may be joining his partner soon! Vance Archer's release was so INTENSELY random and it will suck to not have him around to not make INTENSE jokes about. Oh, but he sucked both in the ring and on the mic so I guess I won't miss him after all. Jillian's release should make a number of people happy. SHE WON'T SING FOR US EVER AGAIN!!!!!!! Tiffany.... Who cares? Trent looks like he is no longer playing multiplayer mode with the other DudeBuster. These releases split up a couple of tag teams. The DudeBusters, Archer & Hawkins, and Cryme Tyme. Does this mean that Croft, Hawkins, and JTG are the jobbers to the jobbers from here on out? At least we know who the Jannetty's were for all three of these tag teams lol.... The only one I really disagreed with was Croft because I actually liked the DudeBusters a lot and thought that their gimmick of being gamers could have been pretty awesome for champions later on. Oh well.

I admit I wanted Shad to do something more with his career after that whole "It's My Tyme" shtick he used after dispersing of JTG. But the truth is he had nothing going for him since partnering with JTG. He is no big loss in the slightest.

In fact, nobody mentioned is a true loss to WWE. Even Luke Gallows was just another face in the crowd. I mean again I would've liked to have seen what was in store for him after his SES run, but when things don't come to fruition then you're doomed to be released. Gallows had the build to be a big guy in a big world, someone that could've benefitted from the stable that's name was not CM Punk. But WWE had nothing for him, so he's gone. No problem there.

As for everyone else mentioned, I don't feel anything for them. Roster cuts happen all of the time, and the others weren't doing anything on The Big Two, so I wish them luck in future endeavors.

Jillian and Tiffany: Both were absolute shit. That is all there is to say.

Aww damm Jillian was released? I always thought she was fucking hot! But it didnt seem like WWE would have anything for her after her Brooke Hogan singing gimmick was over. From what I have read, she is actually good in the ring, and can hit some decent high flying moves but obviously WWE never gave her a good opportunity to actually wrestle. Sad to see her go, but she did have a few years in the company and achieved little really. Hope she ends up in TNA...

Luke Gallows-very, very, sad by this loss. Luke really has grown on me these past couple of months. Admittedly, he was one of my favorite WWE wrestlers. i personally think he had a lot of in-ring talent and i loved all his promos when he was part of the SES. I was really looking forward to him as a singles wrestler and his inevitable feud with CM punk. But , alas, that will not be happening until WWE brings him back. That is, if they ever decide to.

Shad Gaspard- i've been wanting to see his singles run since he broke it off with JTG. but, to be honest, i'm not really surprised. i've been expecting him to be released for while now. really, i've just been wondering why it took 'em so long to do it

Vance Archer-Surprised, yes, saddened, devastated, or in the least bit grieved, nope, not really. Vance is good 'n all but he never really did it for me. not even when he was with the gatecrashers (awsome name)

Caylen Croft- unlike vance w/ the gatecrashers, i liked Caylen. i always thought he had a lot of potential. and althought i was annoyed as fuck whenever i saw the dudebesters (horrible, horrible name) i've learned to like them. at least Trent's still here, i think he's got even more potential.

Jillian- i'm less sad about this as i am angry. Jillian has more talent than over half of the divas yet they stuck her with a shitty gimmick, made her title reign last for less than a day, and then dumped her on superstars for the rest of her career unless they had a useless divas battle royal/heel vs face tag team/filler match. And didn't WWE want to use her as a trainer for the FCW divas? oh, yeah, forget about making the future of the Divas division a little more watchable lets just fire her! stupid, stupid decision to let her go.

Tiffany- this is just like shad, i've basically just been wondering when she's be released. after the first couple weeks after her whole domestic asault and arrest i knew she was going to be released. but why did they wait this long to do it? anyway, i'm glad to hear that she's gonna stick to wrestling and is asking for bookings. for the love of god i hope she gets better while on the indies.
