Are We Jumping on the Hardy Situation Too Fast?

Getting Noticed By Management
ok so obviously there's going to be conflicting reports with the way the ppv ended. some sites are saying he may have been drugged, other reports say he's been arrested...which have been confirmed false by pwr show. I have a friend in orlando who said it was just a violation of probation. http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/headlines/More_Victory_Road_Notes_RAW_Sold_Out_Streak_C.php makes it seem like he was screwed. so are we jumping on this guys case to fast w/o knowing the concrete facts?

Why would this be him getting screwed?

He lost the match fair and square.

If it is a work, it's a great way to make you top heel look like a fuckin' 5 year old in the ring.

Screwjob? no hardy is proven as a druggy, he was stoned...again, sting had to be the bigger man and end this before something bad happened, hardy is a pos and hopefully gets fired its not jumping too soon if this stuff happens with him constantly dude

OH so you were with him at the ppv? and the whole day you saw him take the drugs he was stoned on?

What you just said is exactly what the poster is talking about. I AM IN NO WAY SAYING JEFF HARDY IS CLEAN he has proven other wise as you said but there is no proof that he was high tonight. Now i do see what you are saying that it is likely what it was but everytime something happens to jeff or in one of jeffs matches he automatically he's high.

So all in all yes i believe the dirtsheets and IWC jump too conclusion way too fast i mean hell the ppv just ended 2 hrs ago(eastern time) and hes its automatically jeffs fault the match was short.

I agree. i remember a couple months ago, everyone thought that he was high on these forums, then it was found out those claims were unjustified and he was just exhausted after so much traveling.

could it be that he was high, yes. but bischoff has done dumb shit before, and this may be the case again. either way, tna is really gunna need to do some damage control if they dont want this to be their fpod.

I watched the replay of the match.
It's true that everyone says that Jeff is high in every match.

But this time? There was considerable evidence to make that assumption.

- He definitely missed a few steps in his entrance, both on the ramp and up the steps.
- There was one point where his eyes REALLY looked glazed, as though he was stoned.
- When Jeff and Sting went for the first lock up after his t-shirt tease, he hardly had any kind of defense up.

I'm trying not to make any assumptions. I want the facts. But I am very upset. I really have hope for TNA, and shit like this makes it very, very hard to defend TNA against the haters. Unless this is a very well done work, TNA really really needs to break character and apologize to their fans for this bullshit. If that wasn't a part of the show, then they need to not act like it was a part of show and come up with some kind of cover up bullshit, because I don't think you have to be a part of the IWC to know that what happened in that match was bullshit.

PS: Scratch that, even if it was a part of the show, they need to apologize. There is no reason for the main event to be like that. Period.

I absolutely hate when people use this argument. You don't have to physically see someone pop a pill or snort something to know they're messed up, you could clearly see it in his performance (or lack thereof) and his general behavior.

And no, this isn't jumping to conclusions too soon. Jeff Hardy needs help and has clearly needed it the past couple years, it's not the time to give him the benefit of the doubt, it's the time to can his ass and send him to rehab so that maybe he can live to see the age of 40.

Okay so i just watched a video of the match on youtube about literally 10 times and fuck what i said. I've tried to defend hardy from day one and now im done trying. After watching the video and seeing him and my own experiences with drugs i honestly do believe everyone calling drugs on Mr. Hardy this time is 100 percent true.

(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lckr9OLR2Ow link to said video if anyone intrested.)

I just saw the video and saved it to my HD cuz I know it will get taken down. There is no doubt he was high on something. He was foolin around with his shirt and then it just fell on the ring apron. You could tell Sting was po'ed at whatever Jeff was doing. Right before Bischoff came out I saw the ref make an X sign which I've never seen before. FInally you can certainly see Jeff kicking out but Sting held his legs down

I just checked out the vid. Jeff looks like he had a few too many roxi's and/or xanax. Dude was stumblin' a little for sure...

I'm always one for waiting until evidence comes out, but you know what? Not in this case. WTF is wrong with this ******ed ass hat? How many opportunities can you possibly blow in one lifetime?

yes, you see the ref throw up the "X" sign, you see him talk to someone through the ropes, and then immediately he says something to Sting and Sting's response was "Are you kidding me?"

And if Bischoff wasn't in there calling an Audible....why does the mic go behind his back? Every other time in my life, the mic goes to his side. I may be wrong on that point, but suddenly one scorpion death drop later and the match is over.

So no. Hardy does not deserve any more chances. And I don't even care if it turns out to be something else. This fucking junkie needs to get himself better. Get off tv and take care of yourself for christ's sake.

Thanks for posting the link to the vid lancir. If anyone defends Hardy after this, you are as high as he was. I am glad I did not have the opportunity to purchase this ppv, because I would have been pissed. This was not a work. You can't justify by screwing ppl out of their money with a 3 minute main event. Sting had to carry Hardy around the ring basically. You can also see Hardy trying to desperately kick out of the pin. He also totally no sold the move afterwards as well. I am appalled at TNA for putting Sting, a true legend in that mess. Also the wrestlers in every other match got screwed to. They put placed their bodies on the line to try to produce entertaining matches. We are too busy worrying about what happened with Jeff Hardy to remember any of their efforts. Jeff Hardy doesn't care about TNA, other wrestlers, fans or himself. I pray he gets the help he needs so his story does not end up being a tragic tale.

People just wasted 40+ Dollars to see this crap. Its not too soon.
Unless they refund, This match is going to be shown in "the demise of TNA" like the WCW videos always show the finger poke, or the laydowns for Hogan.

Tcannon - I think the t-shirt was meant to be dropped. He was trying to get heat from the crowd by teasing a free souvenir laced with oxycotin resin.

You mean oxycontin residue?

I've seen more than a few people with oxycodone "issues". Jeff snorted too many pills today, and someone who's seen it first hand can point it out immediately. Just look at his eyes for crying out loud...

I didn't see the PPV, but that video speaks for itself. Jeff Hardy was clearly in no condition to be wrestling and was under the influence. I feel bad for the fans at the Impact Zone, for the fans that purchased the PPV, for Sting for having to put up with that, and for any other wrestler that has to step foot in the ring with Jeff Hardy.

Jeff Hardy needs help. Dixie NEEDS to release Jeff Hardy as soon as possible. He is a huge reliability. He will end up hurting himself or another wrestler if he is allowed to stay in TNA.

Who knows, maybe if Jeff Hardy ever gets his act together, he can look to CM Punk as his new role model. =)
