Put pages on semi-protected that you want reserved and assign admins and such so that they can edit everything, let the grunts edit shit that doesn't fucking matter

I copy edit and write sports articles all the time. I don't know much about the history of this place, but I'd be happy to assist you. I've also got a background in high-level academia if that counts for anything in terms of writing skills.

If I were you, I'd set up a sub-domain off of your web site, and then download a Wiki PHP software like MediaWiki. It'd be similar to how you set up your website.

Just let me know. Like I said, my knowledge of the history is limited (that's being generous), but I'm more than capable of assisting in the editing and typing phase. I write 20-30 pages of information about every five days, so speed and accuracy is within my wheelhouse. If the help is needed, all you have to do is ask.
