All WWE '12 Discussion

I just did my Draft through Raw so far. First match, SD! wins and takes The Rock. Next match - Raw wins and CM Punk returns. I don't know how he was their draft pick, but he was injured and this was him comeback. Maybe since he was hurt, he wasn't part of either show. Idk. After the main event, Taker beat Trips, and the SmackDown draft pick ended up being none other than.. CM Punk! Hahaha he returned to his old show and go drafted to SmackDown all in one night. It was pretty cool.
 
Oh that was awesome. John Morrison returned from injury and started a feud with Shawn Michaels. During one of their matches after Morrison had won he went to break Shawn's leg with a steel chair. Then Sheamus made his triumph return to attack the man who injured him in the first place. I love the way this game does shit like that.
 
In my Universe Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle are feuding over the WWE title. Michale Cole and I forget who else have received career ending injuries. Sting and Taker are now feuding.

And by Jerry Kaspersky I mean Jerry Lawler. It's been hilarious to watch Lawler get beat down and hear him and Cole arguing on commentary about it.
 
Playing matches online still fucking blows, so laggy. There's like a second delay after I push a button, makes it impossible to counter. I have pretty good internet so i don't think it's my connection. You would think they would have solved this shit by now considering online multiplayer is mostly what gamers buy games for nowadays.

Supposedly they're shooting for Jan. to have everything fixed & working properly with the servers.
 
I will have my new wireless adapter and xbox live gold account at xmas and cannot wait to get some CAWs downloaded, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Raven, Y2J and Bobby Roode will be my first few downloads. Scott Hall and X-Pac too so I can recreate the nWo
 
Well its been a year in my universe. Just did the Royal Rumble and after all 40 men had gone through it Goldust was on the verge of winning (he tossed the final man over the ropes). So i paused, quit and simulated it for a HHH win. Decided to wipe all my feuds as well because seeing Lesnar vs Rock every single week got a bit dull.
 
I was just thinking how much better the WCW "Invasion" in RTWM mode could have been if Flair, Goldberg and Sting could have been unlockable characters.

Animal and Anderson? No thank you!

Good to see Booker and Vader though
 
I didn’t get the WWE 12 game yet, but I have a few questions about it that those of you who got it already may be able to answer.

General
• Should I get WWE 12 for around $60 (I hesitated during Black Friday and I missed out on the $28 sale) or should I just get Smackdown vs. Raw 2009, 2010, AND 2011 all for the same price and wait till next year to get 2012??
• Does the “Unlock All” DLC unlock them all permanently or do you have to unlock them every time you turn the game on??
• Is Vickie the only manager in the game or can any of the other SuperStars be managers??
• How many Arenas in the Create-An-Arena mode are there to start off with and what are they?? I’m not talking about what others have created and uploaded, but specifically what is included in the game itself.

Universe Mode
• How many SuperStars can you have on each show / roster, minimum and maximum??
• How many SuperStars can you have in a Stable??
• How many Teams / Stables can you have??
• Do the Divas count for roster spots or do they have their own count??
• How many Titles can be active in Universe Mode at one time??
• Can I replace the Women’s / Divas Divisions with a 3rd Tier Division like the European / Hardcore Division or Light Heavyweight / Cruiserweight Division??
• I plan on making Monday the WWE Legends show and Friday the WCW Show. Can I do this??
• How does the 3rd Show (SuperStars) work?? Can it be a 3rd Brand like ECW, or does it have to be a Super WWE SuperShow (HAHA!!)??
• How does the WWE Draft work?? Can you increase / decrease the number of picks??
• Are the Champions involved in the Draft??
• Does the Survivor Series PPV have a Tradition Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match?? If so, how many SuperStars per team??

Exhibition mode
• Can I actually have 26 different Champions at the same time??
• Can I have one SuperStar with all 23 Championships and his partner with 3 Tag Team Titles??

I know I have more questions about the game, but I can’t seem to remember them right now.
 
I also have a question regarding the game. The superstar thread changing ability, is it just basically changing colours or can you put different attires that the wrestlers do not wear on TV on the characters in the game. A silly example just to underline my question... could you put a kilt (like one worn by Raven say) on CM Punk or put shorts on Undertaker. I wouldn't want to do either but yeah, that's my question. How much altering can you do?

Just wait for a sale on WWE12
Unlock all DLC gives you all the current DLC which is unlocked forever on your account I'd assume but would require a quick re-download if you were to ever delete and restart your game.
I don't think Vickie is in the game yet. Ricardo is in it already and can be used as a manager. He will also appear to announce Del Rio if Del Rio is the first to come to the ring.

There is a minimum of 15 superstars for both Raw&Smackdown (or what ever you change them too).
Five in a stable like its always been.
I believe you can have up to 70 tag team/stables. Superstars can't be in more then one though.
Diva's don't count towards the roster count and can all be removed.
All titles can be used in universe mode but only eight at most can appear in the rankings

Thanks for the info, but just when you thought you gave me all the answers, you just made me ask more questions. HA!!

• I forgot about Ricardo. Can you use other SuperStars as managers as well??
• What is the maximum amount of SuperStars you can have on each roster??
• 70 Tag Team / Stables!? That’s pretty cool.
• I’m not clear on the Divas part. Since the Divas don’t count, and by my last count I counted 12, I can just put the 6 on each show and it won’t take up roster space??
• Of the 8 Titles that can appear in the rankings, are two of them the Women’s / Divas Titles, I guessing??
• If all the Titles can be used in Universe mode, but only 8 of them appear in the rankings, what does this mean exactly for the other 15 Titles??
• When you say SuperStars has to be SuperStars, do you mean it has to be an inter-brand show?? Being that I can rename it, I think I’ll just name it ECW anyway and not have any WWE (Raw) or WCW (Smackdown) matches there.
• I think I’ll start my Universe with Vince McMahon holding all the Titles and doing a tribute storyline to WCW’s Bischoff / Russo April 10, 2000 Reboot.
 
Dammit Heel Rock & Austin, they put CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton out with injuries within a week. Now Daniel Bryan & Del Rio are in a 2 vs 5 feud going into Mania against Rock, Austin, Kane, My CAW "The Spy" and Vince.

I can see others getting bored but damn the random cut scenes before/during/after matches is keeping me entertained. I still need to play the Road to Wrestlemania... haven't even bothered with that yet.
 
Lol what a shit game. Controls are fucking horrible. And why the fuck are there objetives in a wrestling game? Fuck. Even if you lose. You HAVE to conplete that objective to continue. Fucking gay. THQ really fucked up on this game
