All WWE '12 Discussion

Randy Orton still only showing up on Raw, despite being apart of the SD! roster. This is the type of shit that is getting on my nerves. Also Sin Cara can not win a match to save his life, he's lost to Dibiase, Kidd, & Husky Harris in the past three weeks, after teh Dibiase match Gabriel & Kidd ran out & beat him with a pipe post match.

Triple H joined forces with Orton & ADR at the end of a Raw several weeks ago, the three have not been seen together since.

Cody Rhodes ran down to ringside during a Christian/Taker match last week on SD!, then just stopped & didn't do anything before finally just leaving.

For some reason they're hell bent on Bryan wrestling handicap matches against Mason Ryan & McGillicutty, he subbed in for a injured Mysterio last week, & got beat down with a chair post match, then went on to win the ME in the very next match, this week they had him scheduled to wrestle the same match vs. Ryan/McGillicutty.

All the random bullshit in Universe mode is starting to get on my nerves, next year just give me a GM mode & let me create & book my shows how I want them to play out. It's much more fun that way.
 
I've given up on Universe mode. Nothing crazy was happening to me. It was just normal match after normal match without all the insane shenanigans. I may create a wrestler to take through Universe mode and build him up into a champion or something. Or I'll create my own story and use a roster that I like to create the story I want.
 
You know, for all the hype we gave this game, it really hasn't been worth it. Like when you buy Ginger Ale and forget it stings your throat.
 
My Vengeance 2011 arena has 117 downloads and is nearly in the top 6 hot arena's!!! So if you are on PS3 you might see my arena on the main menu. :lmao:
 
Triple H & Stone Cold have formed a team. (As heels).
HBK and Nash have formed a team. (Faces).
The Undertaker and Big Show have formed a team. (heels).
Orton & Del Rio have formed a team. (Faces).
Cena & Ryder have formed a team. (Forced, Faces).
Morrison has shot up to #1 contender for the world title via constantly interfering in matches with Orton/Del Rio.

My game is starting to look weird. My main event consists of Orton, Del Rio, Rock, Morrison & Cena. The lower card IC title (held by Cody Rhodes) where he is dominate over the likes of Taker, Lesnar, HHH, Big Show etc and Punk/DB haven't lost the tag titles to anyone for many months against teams such as Orton/Cena, Orton/Del Rio, Rock/Del Rio, Taker/Big Show, HBK/HHH, HHH/Nash, HHH/Austin, Regal/Barret.

I like the randomness of this game once it finally started running like i wanted it to. I was also bored and decided to push Jack Swagger into the main event by turning him into Kurt Angle, just got the IC title on him and plan to take him, Dolph and Rhodes into the main event. I've ended up putting most of the top stars into the lower/mid card (besides Orton/Cena/Rock). Oh what have i done.
 
So, Austin won my Rumble but he was locked. Stayed locked, and didn't appear in any shows up until Mania. I get to Mania and see the card, no Austin. What's worse is that the WWE title isn't even up for grabs in any match and the champ is left off the card. So freakin weird

Do you edit your shows or just leave them as they are?
Editing them will eventually get you what you want (besides an occasional random face/heel turn that you don't want).

I found that funny. John Cena vs Austin on Raw (Austin is the heel). Before the match Edge attacked Cena. A few seconds into the match Edge came in and turned face and attacked Austin letting Cena pick up the win. After the match Edge beat Cena down with a pipe turning heel again. Edge... make up your mind.

Also that single attack on Cena put Edge & Christian from low card jobbers up to #1 contenders for the World Title, IC Title and Tag Title. This game makes me laugh.
 
I wish they could put War Games matches in the game. The HIAC at the end of RTWM was ok but it would have been cooler if it were a War Games match.
 
My created wrestler has formed a faction witg Husky Harris and Mason Ryan and they've been beating the shit out of Jerry Kaspersky for several weeks. Totally random and I love it.
 
Sigh.. John Morrison caused Sheamus a career threatening injury on Raw. On Smackdown that week Orton and Del Rio caused a career threatening injury to Morrison. I just realized, Orton won the WWE title on Raw 2 weeks after Wrestlemania and has held it until Survivor Series so far and Punk/DB held the tag titles since i started universe mode until Night of Champions. The IC Title gets moved around like a hot potato how ever.
 
My created guy and Brock Lesnar have pretty much feuded since I unlocked Brock. Mostly over the WWE title. I am very, VERY glad they put him in the game though.
 
Oh buddy, have I got a story. At WrestleMania, I booked Rock vs. Cena because I needed another match, thought this could be cool. Ok so, when Cena comes out, he stops and brings out Zack Rhyder! Rhyder does the match for Cena. Crazy, right? Well, midway through the match, Miz comes out and attacks Rock, which leads to Rhyder picking up the pin. Zack Rhyder beat the Rock at WrestleMania, and it wasn't because I like Rhyder. Hahaha I love Universe Mode.
 
Edge, after a big heel run going from not being apart of the show for several months to WWE Champion lost the title in just 6 days. After the match he proceeded to turn face. Now he is in a face/heel tag title reign with Christian. John Cena also shocked me by turning heel and attacking Randy Orton the next night on Raw. Um okay? On Superstars that week Heel Christian vs Face Ziggles for the IC Title. During the match Heel Swagger came out and attack Christian letting Ziggles get the win. After the match Santino and Big Zeke came out and celebrated with Ziggles. I fired both of them at the start of the universe mode why did they show up... I'm guessing I'll never see them again after this so oh well.
