I see what you mean by saying the free brawls are the same every time. It sometimes is which is why I try to move on with my opponent all the way to the back to make it interesting. If only they had more options with the match type and made it a pin/give up stipulation.

I hate how they restrict your moves unnecessarily in free brawls, too. Just because the match is backstage, I can't give someone a damn suplex? Really?

I took a break from RTWM, the Elimination Chamber was getting on my nerves. Stuck on the part where you're suppose to defeat MIz before the next pod opens, Cena keeps getting in the fucking way & preventing me from attacking Miz, I'm lucky if I get even a few grapples on him.

OMG I didnt know you could create entrance movies for your CAW that actually show clips of him doing his finisher and have his name up on the screen.

That is beyond epic.

Yes, my game finally has been delivered.

I thought you could. That's weird...

You actually can do a few slams and suplexes here and there but they just don't give you much freedom doing so. When you try to grapple your opponent without him being dazed you just throw a punch or an elbow. I think that's what The Champ was referring to. Also the irish whip does kinda look ******ed when you try it in free brawl.

Yea, but it's a fairly long process, isn't it? It was when I tried.

I havent got round to creating anyone yet, but my brother said he created his wz character yesterday, not sure what he meant. Whats a wz characteR?

I really don't like the grapple system in this game... hate to say it.

This has been a very common complaint in this thread, but I don't understand why. The grapple system hasn't undergone some radical change. It's basically the same as every other game in the franchise, the difference being (or the only difference I have noticed) instead of the right analog stick, the X or A button initiates a form of grapple.

What they did this year was they made it a lot harder to counter grapple moves, which is great. Last year, only the groggy grapple moves worked online because the other ones were ridiculously easy to counter. Not so much this time around.

You're not the first, that seems to be the biggest issue most people have with it as far as I can tell. I've gotten used to it for the most part, but I still wish you could customize the controller configuration.

One button controls ALL grappling, depending on your standing position to your opponent and if you hold the button down while grappling or not. And then another button is for nothing but Irish Whips, one is for striking and one button does absolutely nothing unless you're ready for a signature maneuver/finisher. They really should have utilized that free button a bit more, prior to being ready to use a signature/finisher.

That's another thing. You can flip around which button does what but there really is no customization.

For me, the current configuration was incredibly easy to learn, and after a few games, I loved it. I realize I'm in the minority, but I think it makes for fluid gameplay.
