WWE 12's official Youtube channel has released and in depth look at how Universe 2.0 will work. Honestly this is three years in the making, because they started this (in sorts) in 2010 only it wasn't Universe mode... but it did have the random interferences and teams formed and disintegrated over time.

Now time for a personal opinion, and even an early guess... This game, is everything that a wrestling gamer should want in a wrestling game. It's got the greatest scale of customization, Universe Mode 2.0, a very longer and in depth Road to Wrestlemania, the biggest and best roster EVER, and so much more to offer.
Also, in the video above (as you'll see) for the first time, they have finally inserted "Announce names" for tag teams/stables. You can now have your teams introduced as a team instead of having them introduced as separate names.
I honestly can't wait for this game to come out.

uhhhhhh, no, he's not in the game. Come on, no. No way in hell he'd be in the game. The guy has only been on WWE TV about 5 times, and those are as a jobber. It would be cool, but no. They can only put so many people in, and since 5 people care about Trent Baretta, he wasn't worth being put in.

Go to 1:19. The Ring announcers now give TAG TEAM NAMES! Not only to do they have pretty cool original tag team/stable names (like The Cartel), but they have OLD-SCHOOL TAG TEAM/STABLE NAMES! FOUR HORSEMEN! BUSHWHACKERS! THE NATION! MEAN STREET POSSE!!!! VARSITY CLUB!!! PRETTY MEAN SISTERS....
OK, that last one is a nice old-school touch, but not as awesome as the others, but STILL! OLD SCHOOL TEAM NAMES! I'M MARKING OUT!
EDIT: also, in Brand editing, you can choose to have an AWA logo, and an FCW logo too!

The only problem with that is that they said during that video that you can't put titles on the Thursday show (which I believe was already known, but that was the first I heard THQ say it).
Just watching that video of all the Tag Team Names, there were about 5 or 6 that I really want to see WWE use for real life teams. Can they not call Epico/Hunico
I still think I will have WWECW on Thursdays. That, or FCW with all the shitty undercard guys (Trent Baretta would be here if he was in the game).
I may even cut out Smackdown and put in WWECW on Fridays.

Just played the full game since my local best buy had it set up. WOW the AI is either really tuned up this year or I'm a horrible player. It will beat the hell out of you in any situation and if you're lucky enough to reverse you might be able to survive. The difficulty was either on Normal or Hard as I didn't check from beforehand, so I can only imagine what Legend is like.
Also got to play about the first 2 weeks of RTWM. The cutscenes mixed in with gameplay with various objectives is really well done and thankfully the lip-syncing is much better improved. Plus the commentators have put in a lot more dialog for not only the story but for the matches themselves. Also the show's opening pyro and music are played at the beginning of every week just like it's supposed to in Universe Mode.
Didn't play Universe Mode just to leave a little bit more of a suprise when I get the game myself next week.
