All WWE '12 Discussion

Raw: WHC, Intercontinental, World Tag Team, European.
SD!: Undisputed WWE, United States, WWE Tag Team (1st), Cruiserweight.
ECW: ECW (Classic), Hardcore, Million Dollar or Light Heavyweight.

I'll probably change some of them around depending on who I have on each show.

Somehow I have to balance my time between this, Skyrim, and being in a show. I will find the time!

I hope the Guile hair is still in CAW. I may even upload his awesome music.

So apparently everyone is mentioning what titles they will have for each brand? Here's mine:

RAW: WWE Undisputed, Classic Intercontinental, RAW Tag Team
Smackdown: Worlds Heavyweight, United States, Unified Tag Team
WWECW: ECW (probably the new one, maybe the old one), Hardcore, Light Heavyweight.

Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of the former?

I'll likely roll with:

Raw: WWE Attitude, US
SD: WHC, Classic IC
Third Show: A world title, cruiserweight

I doubt I'll use Divas, but Woman's title will be both brands. Same can be said for the tag team titles. I may recreate my stable of TMZ with Theo, Michelle McCool, and Zack Ryder, no clue.

How are you guys planning on having an entire brand with multiple titles on a show that only gives you three matches? lulz
I'll probably just end up having a World and LHW title, or World/HC for my Thursday WWECW show. I forgot it's only 3 shows, and it's gonna be a smaller roster anyway for me, as it's only guys from WWECW (the roster will be loaded btw).

I haven't actually thought about my brand set-up. I'll probably stay traditional with the WHC and IC *(classic) titles on Smackdown and the WWE (not sure if I'll use the Undisputed or spinner belt) and US titles on Raw. Tag, Cruiserweight and Diva's titles will be cross-brand.

I'm toying with the idea of transforming Superstars into NXT. Not NXT in it's competition format, but rather like a televised FCW - a show for up-and-comers. It won't have a designated title, though, just the cross-brand ones.

and whats with everyone going all title crazy? Is every PPV going to be Night Of Champions? You get to have 6 matches on PPV. Some of you have like, 8 fucking titles :lmao:

Not every title has to be used on a PPV. Out of my 11, I'll most likely have the ones that aren't used on PPV's reguarly defended on Raw/SD!/ECW or have a few duo champs.

You can't change the amount of matches on the show? Well that sucks...

I'll probably cut a few then. But when I use all those titles I don't defend them all at every PPV. I only defend the WWE and World Heavyweight, a midcard title (IC, US, or Cruiserweight), and the tag titles.

I also turn of WWE Universe mode but pretend that it's still on and have matches in the same arena with the same rivals and all that.

Is anyone actually going to use the Champion of Champions title? And just looked at the Twitter questions on the website again, and you can't have titles on the thursday show.

I would definitely have liked to have seen Bret Hart and Chris Jericho in the game. As Bret has been a "legend" on previous WWE games rosters, and especially as he still makes regular appearances in WWE nowadays, I would have expected him to have been on one of the DLC packs, maybe even as WM26 attire and classic attire.

Jericho is another I am surprised isn't on there. There really isn't a reason for him not to be, especially as he is coming back soon. The inclusion of a modern day and Y2J-era Jericho would have been great, and the fans would love it.

Other names I was hoping would be announced as legends include Davey Boy Smith aka British Bulldog, Scott Hall and X-Pac (especially with Nash being there, HBK being DLC and HHH's influence in WWE now.) A fully-stocked Kliq would have been awesome.

But yeah, I don't think The Blue Blazer will be on the game. Who would really want to play as him anyway?

Haha, Blue Blazer. Why would they put that character in and not Owen Hart? What a joke.

I read somewhere that the eight DLC character spots left will belong to Batista, six divas (Kharma, Trish, Bellas -- this was confirmed on THQ's site), and then one other person and that aside from that there will be no other DLC content down the road. I wish I could remember where I read it, but it was reputable enough to make me believe it might be true. I hope not. I think the roster looks rather weak this year, to be honest, but then again I prefer playing with a lesser known roster of guys rather than the Undertakers, Cenas, and HHHs of the world. It's just more interesting to me.

That said, my list of desired DLC characters is pretty long and, obviously, not going to happen: Brian Pillman ("Loose Cannon" version), Tatanka, Taz, Ahmed Johnson, Mr. Perfect, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Rob Van Dam, Shelton Benjamin, Umaga, Randy Savage, and I'm sure there's more I can't think of. This year though, I'd really like to see better tag teams, especially since they're trying to revitalize the division in real life. Adding LOD and Demolition is cool, but for Universe Mode they're kind of pointless -- will they just feud with each other the entire time due to lack of teams? So, if only for childhood nostalgia, it'd be cool to see The Godwinns, The Smoking Gunns, The Acolytes, The Headbangers, The Headshrinkers. Anyway, this kind of list is never-ending.

Doesn't matter, do it anyway :)

16 days! I'm deciding what to do first. Usually I test out the new additions. I'm thinking I go as DB vs. Del Rio.

Sounds like an awesome first match up! I however will nit be able to resist the urge to play as Vicki first, never thought I'd say that. :lmao:

I know you can replace the titles on the 2 shows but can you also replace the divas & women's titles with other titles as well?

Maybe I'm looking too deep into this but whatever.Brock Lesnar has been revealed as the mystery superstar in october-ish we were told September. Now this is the best bit.Speculation said that it was Mick Foley and the reason they had to wait was his TNA contract.Who elses run out about that time...Hulk Hogan he signs a new contract and Lesnar is reveled. Now another peice of evidence is that apparently someone found a render (or something like that) and tank said its for UFC 2011...now if loads of people knew why not just announce it but they waited until after Hogan signed a new contract with TNA.Now as i said before maybe I'm looking too deep and don't give me hate but in my opinion its not unlikely lets face it Hogan is regarded as one of the best and he hasn't been on a SVR game since 2007 (yes I'm not counting all stars)
