It's real simple what do you want to see in the next Smackdown vs Raw game
& and what new stuff you wana bring in. All i want to see is the wrestler's going backstage like they where able to do in Smackdown Know your Role, and bring in different legends in the game.

What are your Thoughts?

I loved the general manager part of the series and was the main reason I played. I hated the new ones when they removed it. I would buy a game solely for general manager mode. I still play the old SDvsR just for general manager. It did kinda suck once they added in ECW but I say bring it back without ECW and with the GM mode.

I love the WWE Universe mode, with the new game I hope they put in minor league journey mode like NXT they way how the old games had you do matches on Velocity or Heat. Once you win NXT you go to Superstars and do well you'll get drafted to Raw or Smackdown. If you start to lose you go back to Superstars.

I would like to see continued progression with the weapons. Their can be different ways to use a chair. More ways to use the ladder. Let's be honest, that's the funnest part of the game. Who honestly picks a one on one match with the disqualification on?

I completely agree. It's all about the weapons when you play. I just sincerely hope they dont try and keep in line with the WWE programming and try and scale back on the use of weapons etc. Heres hoping they keep the first blood matches etc. But yeah I agree, they need new weapons, and newer ways of using the weapons. I hope they have the backstage areas as well, like where you can go from the ring and fight all over the arena to the backstage with different weapons around and the ability to climb things high and jump.

I would love them to bring back the multi player season mode like they did on the first smackdown game and raw on xbox
nothing beats getting a few friends round and playing a multi player season mode

i know they have the universe mode but thats just not the same as a multi player season mode

i like the RTWM mode but it just seems a little stale and bland to me, where as multi player season mode could be good and fun for a group of you to play, where you can pick what show you want to be on and you can build rivalry and stables and so on

What I really want is the opportunity to interrupt moves, similar to Day of Reckoning for the Gamecube. That way you would have to time your finishers better.

the caw option is probably the most popular thing about these games. they need to tweak it up..add new clothes and hair and tatoos and dont just repeat the old options like they have been doing. they made a new option to change the colors of a superstar but id like to see if we can change thier outfits in the new one and change up their entrances and music.
i like the idea of bringing back where you start off on a smaller show and work your way up to getting drafted to either smackdown or raw. its more fun and addicting to me that way instead of the new universe mode they have. bringing back gm mode is also a good idea.
the main thing id like to see is revamping the whole career mode dedicated to certain superstars. in the last 3 or so versions theyve been so boring..theres no real story to it. when they had shut your mouth or the one with brock on the cover they had stories that flowed and changed if you played as a different superstar (hhh, jericho, undertaker..)

I haven't even played svr 2011 yet, so excuse me if there's any errors:

Sin Cara: can you imagine watching that entrance of his on the game. Then playing, as him would Awesome.

Legends: Edge(with 3 attires from his past), The Road Warriors,Andre the giant, Bret, the normal guys

The Rock: I know it's kind of silly, but put him on the main roster, bald and with his new theme

Michael Cole and King: imagine if you were say, The Rock and you could beat Cole's ass, do you know how many people wish they could beat him! Now would be the perfect time! Put him in his goofy little orange singlet. Also King, you could make him a legend if you wanted.

Backstage: Make it fun like in Shut Your Mouth. Nowadays when you go backstage, you have maybe 3 "hotspots" and 5 weapons. Imagine if you could go through doors without loading. Or even fight in the crowd.

Booker T on commentary: that would make my day too!

If i was the creator of this game, i could have a field day.

I would love for them to bring back putting the belts up for grabs in regular gameplay and not just WWE Universe mode. Oh and the reversals from SvR '10 the '11 version reversals pisses me off

I agree with this statement. General Manager mode is the only REAL reason that I play WWE games. Story Designer and Universe Modes are good little alternatives but I would really like to see the GM Mode brought back. And now would probably be the perfect time, with the whole mystery GM (still) going on.

Yea it would be also be great to see in a modern game just with Raw and Smackdown, with the new breed of superstars, new PPVs etc. The only alterations I would like to see is how easy you can lse your fans, how easy it is to lose budget, and just how dumb the computer GM is, yet how easily he wins (Mickie James vs Great Khali... 5 STARS!!)

But Yes GM Mode is all I want in the new game, as for the rest of the game, if GM Mode is revitalised, then I dont really care. Maybe Bring back WWE Shop?

In wwe universe they should add like a superstar being injured and more awesome cut scenes. More reversals and they should bring back some moves that have been removed.

I love the RVS series but I am so aggrivated that every year I have to create and recreate my wrestlers or even stars who arnt in the game I have always enjoyed...

I wish WWE & THQ would add an importing code to the game so guys I have created from the previous year can be used... I know it is possible the NBA 2K games and Madden Series have it... Not to mention even WWE games had it in past... Remember when Lengands Of Wrestlemaina came out it? You could import charaters from that years RVS over to it also including the guys you created...

On a side note... THQ do this for The UFC Undisputed series also...

Honestly my favorite part of the SVR video games was the GM mode. I would play a game that was fully based on the GM mode. My favorite was the one back in '06. I wish that they would bring that bck as a playable option along with the Road To Wrestlemania part of the game.

I've been watching WWF/WWE programming since Wrestlemania 1 and I've purchased every SvR game since they've come out with. I'm what you call a "target user"

As a matter of fact I just watched an old episode of "PrimeTime Wrestling" OnDemand and it reminded me of everything I liked about the old days, between Wrestlemania 3 and 6, when Gorilla and Bobby were on. Half the show was watching them go at it with hilarious results.

I say this because I really wish the commentating was better in these games. Like I wish it was a focus, on a next gen console (current gen now), to go with dynamic commentary. A match shouldn't last more than 5-10 minutes on average, and I would think they they could do that now, instead of commentators saying the same thing over and over and not on cue.

I also agree the money zone for these games are the CAWs that you can now upload and download at will. What doesn't happen, however, are that the same parts are not available year to year. If I make a kick @ss Demolition with pads and chaps and ring entrance, it won't import go to the next year. I would like to see the parts added to, not deleted every year. Maybe that's not realistic.

Ultimately, I'd love to have all the pieces available to make the classics. Demolition. Twin Towers. Elizabeth. Hercules. Brother Love. With Bobby and Gorilla on commentary, or something that sounds like it even if they use old clips.

Anyone think that can happen?

GM mode should be in.

Improved cage and Last Man Standing matches make them more difficult are realistic like Hell in a cell matches and TLC matches have become.

Add I quit and burried alive matches ( with proper grave). these matches are brutal and would be fun to play.

Have improved longer Road to 'Mania with different outcomes + an extra career mode to play through. For example taking a created wrestler from the start of NXT and getting into different feuds on different shows as well as progressing through each division.

The one major change I would like to see be made to the game would be to have a realistic General Manager mode. I would use the SvR 08 template but have a more accurate match rating/show rating. I found it incredibly annoying whenyou would have a full card with a good match and then have the other brands have half the card and have one and a half stars better then you. Although I can honestly play the GM mode over and over again which is why I think it should be included in the new game.

As long as GM mode makes a return, I'll be satisfied. However, I think they need to improve it. When GM mode was still around, you were able to do various things in the promo slot. Some of these things included attacking the other show, cutting a promo, and advertising. I'd like to see these things actually happen. Basically, I want them to combine GM mode and Universe mode. You have the same amenities and fun that GM mode had, but combine it with the customization of Universe. If that's to happen, I'll be happy.

SmackDown vs Raw 2012 -

General Manager Mode - We are asking this for years, and they still dont do it.

A Mix between Road to WrestleMania and Career mode - like we being the ones that chose who do we want to feud... Starting in NXT and gathering reputation to make an impact in SmackDown or Raw... They could also have a draft randomly and we could be drafted..
They could making us interfere other matches and choosing if we are heels or faces by our actions...
Have a GM to say something about our storylines...

Just imagine: Me being McIntyre and after gather some rep points i finally made it to the A Show, and in the first night i interfere in a WWE Title Match, i gather more reputation and i would be automatic in line for the tittle...
So please, mae the matches harder to win!!

More Legends and More Superstars... As well having the ability of making WWE Title matches everytime we want too...

I wish for referees to play a factor in the match. Refs are constantly in your face when a heel disobeys the official.

When an allie or enemy interferes in a match, they should actually interfere rather than patrol ringside like a lumberjack.

I want to roam the crowd, backstage areas, anywhere i desire.

I would like to see all the old moves readded, there is no need for THQ to take out so many every year. I want the old HHH DDT back, the multiple variations of the Powerbomb, the Widows Peak etc, all should be readded.

I want to be able to roam the backstage areas in the Hardcore matches, like in the early editions of the game. Again, with more power in the consoles, there is really no reason why this could not be added.

I want to be able to reorganise my Universe mode, choose my own number 1 contenders and reorder the rankings as I see fit.

We should be able to import CAWs from older editions of the game (or at least SDvsRaw 2011), to make it easier to build up a roster of CAWs

I want to be able to unlock old entrance music, and gimmicks for the wrestlers. For example, I would like a modern day Rock, and an Attitude era version with more hair, and I want an old school HBK and the later day one. Every wrestler should have more than 1 attire.

The time limit hardcore title match with multipl title changes needs to come back

As others have said, bring back the GM mode, or combine it with Universe mode in some way.

I could go on all day, but those are just a few of the things I would like to see.

The submission system should be changed to the one in 2007.Its stupid how now you could just damage them enough so that they will tap out even though you wouldnt want them to.Plus its easier to mash buttons.

I just want to have General Manager mode because in Story Designer it just
wasn't the same especially as you had no competition and it was quite pointless. I don't know why Layla wasn't on SvR 2011 but she should be on it. I hope you can have challenge matches again like on SvR 2007. I also wish you could have a good campaign like on SvR 2006, 2007, 2008. (but keep Road to Wrestlemania). Overall I wish they made the legends look real not like on SvR 2011 where The Rock, Stone Cold, etc looked like a bunch of oldies. I wish they had a better variety of clothes in CAP because most of them no real wrestlers would wear.

I really hope they have those things on SvR 2012 even though it may be a bit much to ask for.

Pretty much what this poster said. I have played and owned all of the Smackdown/SD vs. RAW (excluding 2011) games over the years and the caw have been pretty much the same since Shut Your Mouth. A whole new setup would be awesome. Again like this poster said, the story mode from SD SYM was awesome, one of the best I had ever played. Bring that back. It would be really cool to pretty much decide your own fate story wise and walk around backstage. Also I imagine they could do some crazy things with it now. One more thing I'd like to see is the GM mode. I miss this a lot. It was my favorite thing about playing.

I think the biggest thing they need to do is expand the universe mode. They give us ecw, nxt and wcw arenas and titlesbut they arent useable in universe mode. If they expanded on this, make it more customizable, have more matches on the card, and things like that, it could be a mode that you can truly play forever without needed another mode.
