Air Bourne into RKO

I think it was a shocking move, completely out of nowhere (Vince Russo, much?). Which of course is what makes it so AWESOME. I think we know a fued for Summerslam

:worship: Thank you Shooting Star- RKO.

This is th whole point to get the fans into the MITB Pay Per View, and they have alot of fan's interest now not only because of this moment but because of how things have developed on RAW in recent weeks. Once you have people interested in a way like this then the PPV will likely be a hit if WWE pulls stuff like this.

I very rarely watch WWE anymore, but I am so glad I turned on the tv for that. Best RAW moment of the decade, easily.

It was a great moment and i wasnt expecting an RKO to come from that move. Both superstars deserve credit for it. It must of took a long time to get that perfect.

The only problem with it is the camera angle. Like, if you want it to be waaay epic, put the camera straight so you can see what happened. This is why HBK's super kick to Shelton was much better, because I could actually see it the first time it happened.

What if he started the RKO a little bit earlier? That could have helped too. The RKO happened just when Bourne was about to hit the ground. Just a thought.

To be completly honest,
I blinked and missed It,
But it was a fabulous move,
But i doubt they'll feud,
There having Randy be a tweener,
& Feuding against a top baby face won't help,
The feud I want to see is Orton vs Miz,
Now that would be,
AWESOME

it was pretty cool but orton was to low on the ground, never got to his feet, plus evan bourne was not even going near randy orton. randy orton should have been closer to the corner that evan bourne jumped off of and im pretty sure evan could jump higher.
dotn get me wrong it was really sick though, and that must of took a lot fo practice

It was an amazing moment, one of the most incredible things i've seen on raw in a couple of years. I would totally love to see a feud between Orton and Bourne down the line soon

Definitely an awesome moment on Raw, btu, i'll be saving most of my marking out for RVD vs Jerry Lynn at Hard Justice. Even though Orton didn't get very high, it still looked bad as hell

DEFINATLEY a mark out moment for me. It was an incredible moment and it made me wan't to watch it over and over again. Although Orton was low on the ground it was still awesome the way he planted Bourne on his head. These two men won't feud because Randy is in a feud with Sheamus. Eventually i would love to see these two men feud both have lots of talent and heck both from St.Louis Missouri.

This was my favorite part of Raw by far. Just the excitement of what happened made me get out of my chair by far one of the best mark out moments i've seen in a while.

OP

Wow. I don't know what to say. It was a good move, but you marked out to the point of ecstasy? Maybe its cause you haven't had much excitement rather than it being an awesome move. WWE does tend to do that to people.

You don't know what to say? Point of ecstasy? Where in the holy hell did I say anything about ecstasy? It seems as though well over half of the posters agreed that it was a great move and a lot of them marked out. I don't understand your post here whatesoever? Are you saying that the move was bland?

that move was absolutely crazy! how one can say he was to low to the ground and not near orton, may be the case but not as obvious as one would make it out to be! i wish they would of save it fr a match could u imagine the crowd gonig nuts from the airbourne to RKO then orton goes for the pin (clearly its over) but wait! BOURNE KICKS OUT the crowd would go apeshit it would be pop after pop!! did u see at MITB when those two started going at it the crowd exploded just cuz of that moment on raw! could of been saved for a better time thats for sure! and people are comparing that to the HBK superkick to benjamin! now that was sweet, and hbk is my favourite! but i can definetly say that the RKO was better! shelton just gets on the apron and jumps in the air at HBK when hbk is on the other side of the ring, clearly he wasnt going for anything so therefore u knew it was coming! at least for the airbourne u couldnt really tell and it could be played that it was bournes only chance to go for it and figured he could do it especially since orton is such a huge start bourne was looking to make an impact

Evan Bourne must have a lot of trust in Orton to agree to do that. Jesus, that required some amazing timing and incredible skill - on both their parts, but especially Orton's, because if something had gone wrong, it would have been on his side of the equation. It's surely a measure of how highly the locker room thinks of Orton that we see stuff like this.

And some deluded Kennedy fans still go on about Orton not being able to wrestle...can you see Kennedy pulling something like this off? Like, without killing someone?

The idea of the move was good but it really didn't have a chance to be executed well.
I'm sure I'm not the ony one who's first thought when Bourne went to the top rope was
"There's no chance he's going to hit the move" I had to watch it a few times to see that Orton even attempted the move. He sat up about six inches and then fall back to the mat. He barely grabbed Bourne's head. The idea was great but it was basically a missed shooting star press

One of the best moments on Raw in a long time...

Bourne's spots amaze me more and more every week.

No clue how this guy is still title-less in the WWE...

Please let me know if you think the move was as impressive as I did and if you think those two could have an interesting fued.
I don't think the move was as impressive as you did. I also don't think it was practiced too much if at all. And one visually pleasing spot is not the grounds for a good or interesting feud. That said, I think it was executed very well. They work somewhat well together as a change of pace but I wouldn't want to see an entire program between the two.

I agree with LigerBomb, it was a mark out moment, but it didn't look like it had been practiced much and would've been alot better if Randy had stood up more, and I don't think they should feud, they are both too over to be in a decent feud.

that was one of the moves i have seen in a while the last one has to have been the first time in a triple threat where 2 guys are attempting a super plex, and then the third guy comes underneath and does the electric chair. i am pretty sure orton has been dying to that move he just needed to do it with a high flyer

LOL the iwc strikes again! wwe does something incredible and here are people nitpicking saying things like "it could have been good if..." I dont think the majority of you understand how hard of a move that must have been to pull off. In order for randy to have done it up to all of your standards, he would have to been on his feet before bourne even jumped off the turnbuckle, then if it was a perfect RKO you all would still go back and rewatch and find a problem with it. I can just see it now some dumbass would post "orton was already on his feet, why would bourne even jump if he knew he was on his feet?". Theres no way in hell orton could have gotten all the way up to his feet in time, this move was done to perfection with what they had. Honestly someone reply to me and say that you could have gotten to your feet and pulled off what you all are saying would have been a more "Devastating" rko. Randy and Bourne pulled it off perfectly and me along with others marked the fuck out when this happened. Get a grip IWC

yeah i went crazy for this! i love orton! he is one of my favorites of all time! and this was just insane and done to perfection, both for them did their part to make this a very memorable moment in raw history for sure
