For which high-impact move did you mark out the most?

1.) Samoan Drop: It's powerful, quick, and can be used as an impact move or a finisher. Some of my favorite wrestlers have used it, including Umaga, Rikishi, and of course the Rock. It's also one of my favorite moves to use in the video games, and my created character has been doing it since WWF No Mercy. The best ones are when the user hits it out of nowhere, and gets some hangtime in the process. Umaga's were probably the most deadly in my opinion, because of his agility and strength. Most recently the Usos have caught my attention, because Jimmy uses a freefall Samoan Drop, as well as that wicked Drop he had on Tyson Kidd into the barrier during their first official match.

2.) Sweet Chin Music: Sure, it was just a superkick to the head, but HBK had this move perfected. Nobody will ever forget the famous SCM to Shelton Benjamin off the top rope. THe move is brutal, and Michaels could hit it out of nowhere, OR build up the tension by "tuning up the band".

3.) RKO: For most of the same reasons I like Sweet Chin Music, I like the RKO. When done properly, Orton can hit this thing out of nowhere and do massive damage. He's really got the application down to a science, but what he still needs to work on is getting the move countered. You can always tell when it's not going to hit, and it's kinda lackluster to say the least.

As high impact moments are concern, I have three personal favorites:
1. Leg Drop turned into Batista Bomb

It may have been botched a little but the atmosphere and suspense for this match was so huge and to have a moment like this was awesome imo. I was watching this match with two of my friends and they litterally lost their voices after seeing this b/c of excitement for rooting for Batista while I was roaming in misery for going with Cena.

2. Benjamin Running Up the Ladder

This was the first time I had ever seen someone use a ladder as a staircase. With this being the first MITB match ever, the match delivered in more ways than one and no moment imo will be more remember than this one.

3. Elix Skipper walks the cage

I don't discriminate. I enjoy TNA and WWE spots and no TNA spot tops this one. Much like Benjamin running up the ladder, I have never seen anyone walk the cage before so when Skipper did this and one of TNA's greatest matches ever. I was left speechless. It almost made me want to root for Triple X.

There was a match between Rey and Jericho a year or two ago during their feud, and Rey came off the ropes and WHAM! Codebreaker! Jericho really looked like he connected with his knees on the hit. I think one happened at The Bash and the another happened on a New Year's Beat the Clock match.

For your viewing pleasure (notice how Rey doesn't get his feet down to absorb the impact) :

This!

I remember watching that live and thinking that Rey Mysterio was probably dead after taking that impact. We all love to see moves like that and the Codebreaker on Mysterio from a flying cross body is just insane. I don’t think I have marked out for a move like that before and until last night, I didn’t think that I would mark out for a move like that again. I am not saying that Orton’s was better but it has certainly given me a belief that the WWE can come up with increasingly imaginative and intricate moves that get people out of their seats.

Both Jericho and Rey Mysterio worked that move to perfection and it paid off hugely. The same is true of Evan Bourne and Randy Orton. Both performers were clear on what was going to happen and although it was very complicated, both of them managed to get it done and it looked amazing.

little less known one, but in the rey vs. morrison match before breaking point (where JM won the ICtitle) rey jumped off the turnbuckle for a splash and JoMo caught him in mid air with a falling dropkick that looked absolutely brutal, so thats my vote, all though almost all of these would work

RKO from last night was just a mark out moment. All logic would have you think they give Bourne a little moment on a top guy, get his revenge and it seemed everyone else was gonna hit there finisher. So KUDOS to Bourne and Orton for the amazing spot :worship:.

Damn, I had an idea of a spot I was going to say coming in to this thread, but now after reading all this and seeing some of these videos I'm more confused than ever, LOL. Too many to choose from. Jeff Hardy off the titantron would have to be in the top of anyone's list I'd say though. I have to say I don't think I've ever freaked out quite as much as when Brock Lesnar went for the SSP and made it but kind of fucked up too. That was insane, I thought Brock Lesnar was about to be the next Christopher Reeve.

when daniel bryan debuted against jericho and he powerslammed him into the announce table botch or not that move looked sick and i rewound it so many times

also the first time i ever saw kaval do the warriors way to a tree of woe'd opponent

and i know this is wwe but ill throw this in cause of giant bernard being albert the first time i saw him wrestlign outside of wwe was against hirooki goto my fav puro wrestler : ) and GB ran towards him doing almost a baseball slide dropkick to the knees type thing made goto straight do a front flip it was crazy again i know not wwe but can you forgive me ill put up two more wwe ones to fill the void

in pure just marking out id say in the first elimination chamber when rvd did the spiderman thing on the side of the cage i remember jr or king explaining it like that as he kinda just caught himself up on it

also when jeff hardy did the whisper in the wind to umaga from the top of the cage

and to take things to tna id go with the elix skipper cage thing ovbiously but also when pope dinero did the codebreaker to *forgot who* and it was amazing best codebreaker imo but than again he went on to say codebreaker uses one knee while the move he did used both

oooooh shit this is way back like in ecw when tazz and bam bam bigelow fell into the stage

and when sid vicious killed rick steiner

also john morrisons moonsault with the ladder
joery mercurys face encounter with the ladder
and seeing johnny morrison do the springboard 450 splash to dolph ziggler, ted debiaise etc.

also the return bout between dolph ziggler between rey mysterio where the finish saw them working off the spot in the match before where ziggler hit the avalanche gutbuster dean malenko used to always do on rey mysterio well ziggler went for this again at the summerslam match and rey reveresed it into a hurricanana for the win and the pin great ending to a great list and thread

how does someone walking on a cage, or this Mondays RKO even compare to this though??

the people who were there live will tell you that this was one of the most brutal things they have ever seen with their own 2 eyes. i remember watching it and thinking that mankind was actually dead. it was this match alone that scared me away from wanting to be a wrestler haha. Mick Foley is the only man who could ever hold the title of "The Hardcore Legend"
