A Very Regal Three Hour RAW: King Of The Ring LD - 11/29/10

Saying The Miz looks weak as champ is not really fair, they made Jerry look like an under dog and considering Cole is a Miz mark and also Riley is his lackey, WWE played off that for Miz to win.

Hopefully, if WWE plays it right, they'll get a good superstar to help out Lawler, and a lackey to that superstar to even the playing field and have a 3 on 3 match in the next week or two.

Seriously, anyone who hated that can go suck a dick, that was entertaining.

I wouldn't call this a great RAW by any means - certainly nowhere NEAR the standard the last two set - but damn if it wasn't incredibly entertaining.

I can't wait to see where they go with Cole/Miz next week. Maybe Cole becomes Miz's manager? Cole reveals himself GM? Who knows, but either way, WWE ended this show making me (and likely others) want to tune in next week.

And Ladder/TLC matches are designed to give the underdog a fighting chance. There is so much big-damage potential with falling off a ladder/through a table that the underdog can easily look like he has a good shot at winning. Look at Jeff Hardy vs. Taker back in 02 or 03, or Flair in the TLC match against Edge. Same thing. It's not weak booking, it's the Champ overcoming odds to win, AND them furthering the storyline of Cole/Miz.

Well Doc i was annoyed that Jerry got a title shot in a TLC match but even i have to say, the match was damn entertaining, and it was fresh to see that kind of match on RAW as a main event.

denial ain't just a river in egypt

You're clearly just doing this to get a rise out of people, as I'm sure you're sitting in your room being the loser you are, but what you're saying is inaccurate.

I'm not a Miz mark at all and tonight didn't make him look weak, he was ut through a table, from the top rope, e should be out until tomorrow morning, he's a heel this is how it works. you;re just saying this to make yourself feel better because there's no shitty TNA on tonight, sorry

This is why Miz appear weak. He can't handle Jerry one on one. Jerry was the underdog yet the Miz needed help from Riley and Cole to get the upper hand on different occasions. Say all you want about it being a classic heel tactic, but if you need that to beat a non-regular wrestler you will appear to be weak to the fans.

He won the match. Big difference there pal.
Only took two people's interference and weapons.

Who threw him through that table?

No you don't. It's a TLC match, an 80 year old man can hit you with a chair, climb a ladder and win. That's why they didn't have a one on one match, it was TLC so it looked like Lawler had a chance

No. Miz looked weak, you all just refuse to admit it because it's coming from shattered dreams.
Not at all. George Foreman won the Heavyweight Championship of the World at age 45 (in a real sport). Old timers that can still go are always capable of pulling that 1 vintage performance out of nowhere. And as I said earlier, Ladder/TLC matches give the underdog a HUGE advantage, since the big-damage potential is so high.

Besides, last I checked, Miz won the match. That's not looking weak. Looking weak would be losing non-title matches.

Oh so the only way the Miz wouldn't look weak was if Lawler got in no offense at all? Pushing him off the top rope (after he landed n his nuts) and through a table makes you weak? You're a fuckin moron

Get this man a pepsi.

At least some people are making sense. Also i agree that it wasn't as good as the last 2 but this was still a solid episode a easy B for me.

I just think we need to watch Miz's WWE title run, im sure it will be a good run, he's only had his first defense tonight, its unfair to call him a weak champion after this one time. he's going to be having many more defence's down the line.
