actually, it was a TLC match, so weapons don't mean shit. Not to mention that it took weapons to give King even a remote shot at winning. Again, making it TLC was an EQUALIZER for King, since he had more at his disposal then just athletic ability (which Miz clearly outshines King at in 2010).

I know he won the match. It still took other people for him to win it. Had it not been for Cole and Riley it would appear that he would lose. Plus he won it in a weak way, this is why I'm saying he looks weak.

I don't think The Miz looked bad at all. When you break it down, here are the facts:
- Jerry Lawler is a Hall of Famer
- 'Old timers' can pull out suprising performances as a result of adrenaline, determination, etc...
- A TLC matchup is a match where suprises can happen due to hithe dangerous surroundings, as Punk kept saying, it only takes one mistake.
- This was the town of Rocky, where underdogs shine.
Taking all these into account, it's plausible that Jerry Lawler could have won the match. Also, in the broader picture, the match gainedeven more heat for The Miz and Michael Cole, which can't be a bad thing. The match was believable and it did its job.

I'm pretty sure CM Punk said numerous times throughout the match that it only takes one mistake to loost a TLC match when talking about The Miz...going through the table was that one mistake. It's pretty straight forward. 'Accidents' happen all the time in matches like TLC, hell, John Cena fell through a table last year and lost based on that.

Say what you want. The main event put over the announce team in the ring at the expense of the Champion. This is why people are not excited about the Miz as champ. The fluke heel champion after MITB has been beaten to death and hasn't been interesting since it was overdone to the point of ruining Edge. How anyone sees that segment as not confirming Miz is being booked as a fluke champion is beyond me.
