90s style raw returning

i just read on wrestlezone that the 90s style raw is returning and smackdown will have a 80s style to it. i think raw really needs to go back to the way it used to be, cause now its just plain boring, i dont even watch smackdown it sucks ass

I think its a great idea. They how already started the process on smackdown with the type of camera there using. I like that camera it makes it seem like theres more going on then there is and this could actually be a good thing.

I have been catching Smackdown recently, and I must say, it is improving. Much more watchable then say, a year or so ago.
MVP and Ken Kennedy are becoming major heels on the show, but I still think they should developed some major faces...Raw seems to have most of them.

I also am a firm believer that if Vince wants results, goin back to old school RAW is the way to go. I first strarted watching wrestling right about the time Stone Cold emerged. I'd come home from school on Mondays counting down the hours until RAW. I recently just started watching wrestling after a 7 year absense of watching it and I must say it is not the same. I still enjoy it and look forward to it, but not in the way I used to. There seems to be something different about the show. I look forward to seeing what unfolds with this new "edge" to raw.

i agree this new outlook they are tryin to put on raw and smackdown will b good...only time will tell if it will work but i believe it will....i think it will give vince the ratings he wants...and remember wen vince usually wants something he gets it

They seem to have already started going back to an edgy raw with the way ric flair was destroyed by rated rko on monday. If it keeps going then il definetly be a regular viewer.

I think Smackdown is far better than Raw, to be honest as that's where the majority of the wrestling talent is.

how is smackdown on a bad night of the week? In my area smackdown is the only good tv on friday night

I like a earlier post took a long time off from wrestling. But due to my roommate being a die hard fan I started to watch again. At first RAW really irritated me and just seemed like a joke, but lately things seem like they are changing. I like how they are going with Cena not giving a fuck, and Orton and Edge beating on Flair. However, i feel they lake top heels. For one, Orton is too likeable to be a heel in my eyes, no matter how over as a heel they try to make them he still seems to be liked. As for Edge, I think he is weak. I have never thought that he was a top rate wrestler. They need to put Monty Brown on Raw and just have him run through everyone as a heel. I feel that RAW is really liking a huge heel base and if they got a good one going that would put them over the top.

This is semi-decent news. The problem is still that the writing staff needs to be jettisoned and they need to realize that toning down the show wasn't the reason it began to suck. Bad storylines that were badly executed combined with sub-par wrestling is what did everything in. The minute WCW folded was the minute that the WWF began tripping over its own feet. I pray they just don't resort to combining the current recipe of horse$hit with useless sex and swearing to try and bastardize their once successful formula for a quick ratings kick. The problems within go much, much deeper than just throwing a little bit of the old "attitude" back on top of the Raw product.
