The lord of darkness
OT: All this Sting stuff over the past month made me dust off my copy of "The Crow" on DVD the other night and, well, both TNA and WWE have succeeded in reminding me what a great movie that was.
To be honest, the only reason I wanted Sting to go to WWE was so that we could finally get a nice, definitive, three disc set spanning the man's career. WWE may not do too many things right these days but their home video department has been kickin' ass since '04. I actually respect Sting for sticking to his laurels and not going to WWE because of legitimate beef he has with them. Good for him.
TNA needs Sting more than WWE does anyway.
First "The Crow" is an AWESOME movie and my personal favorite.
Secondly, to my knowledge Sting never had a beef with WWE, he just didn't approve of the content during the attitude era. He is a devoted christian and all the violence and sex of AE turned him away. Last I understood, he hasn't been too happy with TNA. But in the end TNA can offer up a lighter, less travel schedule.
Personally, and I like Sting, but it wont kill me or disappoint me if he never shows up in WWE or goes in the HOF. I really think Sting is made out to be very overrated. He was a wrestler that used pop culture to get MORE over with fans.
