THE STINGER IS HOME BABY!

And i absolutely loved the big 'FUCK YOU' to the WWE. You can hype and put your spin on promo's but everyone knows the Stinger is a TNA/WCW boy and will always be. I hate, despise and loath anything WWE so for all us TNA marks, this was a pretty cool moment that actually adds a HEAP of hype for next weeks show as everyone knows it is Sting who is coming.

It's a pretty spontaneous thing to do and it is going to piss off the WWE marks to the moon and back. So sit back my fellow TNA fans and watch them air their anger and whining over the promo's and dont bite back. This was the whole point, to piss off anyone (fans in the IWC, workers etc) so that they air their anger and get more people tuning in.

I don't think people wanted to see Sting. They wanted to see Sting vs. Taker. Just like Undertaker's return isn't a big deal, neither is Sting's because it is the same old thing. Both returns are nothing special. Also, with some of your post calling someone childish is the pot calling the kettle black.

THAT IS THE WRESTLING BUSINESS TO REMOVE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CURRENTY WORKING FOR YOU. If you have ever paid attention to the industry you would know that. Jim Ross was removed from the intro and replaced with Cole. What is your point ?

Nash and Booker were WWE employees before they ever went to the minor leagues with TNA and they kept good relationships with Vince because they wanted to come back should they need a paycheck. THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH A MEM STORYLINE.

You really must be smoking something to think that a wrestling would work for peanuts to do a WCW style storyline instead of hosting a TV Show, Commentating a Weekly Wrestling show and being a trainer for a Reality Show. WWE doesn't need to break up a TNA storyline that was stale from the beginning.

The MEM never made any headlines, Never was anything talked about by all wrestling fans. Hell , everytime I go to a WWE show. It always amazes me how many people DON'T KNOW WHO TNA IS TO START WITH.

So WWE isn't worried about a company that has NEVER POSTED A 2.O rating ever. TNA isn't anywhere near vinces view.

This was the BIG surprise by Dixie? This was the lamest rip off by TNA. Although WWE got a lot of hype about sting from their vignettes of the undertaker, I don't think it was intentional on their part. But TNA blatantly ripped off the WWE, it shows how much creativity they lack.

Dude, and everyone else who's made a similar post... WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! Why do you think the WWE left their 2-21-11 promos ambiguous in the first place? Only two logical conclusions:

1. They wanted to create a Sting buzz despite knowing he wasn't coming and try to attract some viewers they may not have already had. It worked, too.

2. They did it that way so either Sting or Undertaker could debut depending on if they worked out a deal with Borden. Undertaker could have easily come back in some other fashion, so they had a ready-made backup plan in case they could not land the Stinger.

Either way, how can you rip on TNA for basically mocking the WWE in this situation? You guys so often praise the WWE for acting as if TNA is beneath them. But here they obviously thought a TNA star was worth using, covertly as it was, to generate interest in their own program. For TNA to stick it to them in response is perfectly suitable.

I'm not bitter. I checked out the photos cuz they were described as old-school sting...which I thought would be interesting seeing him with short blond hair again...but what i got was definitely a surprise. Yeeesh.
Also, I thought it would be really cool to see Sting retire in the WWE with the fanfare his career deserves and I respect him for sticking to his convictions and returning to TNA. What I didn't expect him to come back as the Grand Marshall of the Pride parade that is TNA.

The New York post started this not the WWE. You could clearly see Taker and they never EVER said they signed, talked, tried to contact him, email, text, stalk, or anything like that. Did you want the WWE to come out and say "according to the IWC dirt sheets (about 3-5% of fanbase) that spoil our storylines, returns, make up stuff and tells you that we are fake, have apparently thought we signed or try to sign Sting. We are sorry if this story made you mad and sorry that TNA marks have their heads stuck in their ass." Oh and the song kind of gave away that it was Taker.
