I think folks are just pissed off because I am persistent, relentless, and I don't hush easily.

Or in short, you're very annoying.

Some folks want to talk me down, call me foul names for no reason, make fun of me, and all that stupid shit as if it's supposed to discourage me from what I am trying to do but it doesn't work and I think that is what is actually annoying to you.

Or it could be along the lines of people saying no along those insults and slurs.

You think all that effects me but it doesn't which pisses you off.

You are annoying people in the league because after numerous people telling you it is to late to join. And then you want people to challenge you. It is childish on your part that after numerous people telling you no you take up this underdog role.

It does show me the poor character and pettiness of people, but that doesn't effect me. It only makes me more sure that I am on the right course or else I wouldn't face so much opposition.

See what I mean? This wasn't about keeping you out, this was about saying that it was too late for you to join. But you make yourself out to be the hero fighting the evil forum villains keeping you out of the debate league.

It sounds to me like some folks are threatened even which is sad.

I don't think anyone has even made a statement about your debate abilities. We are saying it is too late to join, and it is. Hell, a week ago if you signed up we would have even brackets and guys like IHW and Gunnz would be in the first round. So trust me, a week ago you would have been more than welcome.

I simply issue a challenge and people get all puffed up and start hurling insults and accusations. What weak and pathetic minds. If I am no threat than why so serious? Why so threatened? Maybe it's because you know I can win.

Or you know, it is really annoying that after so many people saying no, you get all up at arms and want their spots. When just a week ago you could have joined with no problems.

Great superman, you manage to do a lot in your day. I was waking up going to work, coming home, eating dinner, and going to bed to wake up and do it all over again doing 8-12 hour shifts everyday. Sorry I couldn't squeeze it in but my priorities said "Get to bed and get your rest for tomorrow" instead of "Jump on the computer and see what is going on in the WZ Forum". So really, as much as you can't stand it and want to call it "disrespecting everyone" NO I didn't really have the opportunity, and you can't say shit about it. In 2010, Phoenix chose the majority of the topics and did a fantastic job. In 2009, TM REALLY stretched the imagination with his topics. I'm trying to do this on my own this year and follow in suit. Feedback on the debate topics is much appreciated.

This is a GOOD question.

The 24-hour grace periods should always start from the time of the previous post.

The only exception is the start time. For example, even though I posted the debate threads a few hours early, the home debater would have until 2pm EST the following day to make their first post before decisions are deferred.

I hope that clears it all up.
