2011-12 NHL Playoffs LD

CrySomeMoresby87 would look pretty nice, eh?

Lol, I'd rep you for that, except as we all know, rep doesn't mean anything anymore apparently.

I have a few other ideas for name changes as well, but I don't want to jump the gun yet. The Penguins are a very talented team, and are more than capable of coming back. But all the same, I am enjoying watching them dig themselves a very deep hole.

Indeed. Just a little early prodding is all. Pens' play has been embarrassing. It's kept LSN out of this thread entirely. I don't blame him.

Roberto Luongo is proving once again why you don't sign goaltenders to ridiculously long term deals. God I hope LA wins this series.

Not the best night for either of us, Habs. Pretty shitty OT loses for both our boys.

Oh well. This is why it's a best of series!

So much for home ice advantage. Rangers, Bruins, Panthers, and Penguins all had home ice advantage and they all relinquished it. Canucks, Blues, and Predators, same thing. Shockingly, the only team to begin with home ice advantage and maintain it is the Coyotes, and that's all pending tonight's results.

Thankfully, the Bruins are a solid road team, so I'm not too concerned. Yet. But they better get some offensive generation going and soon.

NHL Player Safety office is likely to be very busy tomorrow.

Carl Hagelin already scheduled for a hearing for his high hit/elbow on Alfredsson (who did not return):

Phillips and Carkner both on the agenda, and possible for hearings themselves. Phillips for his shoulder to the head/boarding of Callahan, and Carkner for the entire melée with Boyle that resulted in he and Dubinsky getting game misconducts.

I'm still trying to figure out how Dubinsky gets a game misconduct for that.

If he did that on the street, he is a hero, but in hockey, he's a villain. All he did was stop something that the refs should have stopped. Boyle was on the ground with his gloves still on while the asshole was wailing away on him.

That being said, Carl Hagelin will most likely be suspended for tomorrows game probably, especially if Alfredsson can't go. Completely understandable. That or he'll get a $2500 fine like that cunt that smashed the other guys head into the glass pro-wrestling style.

2-1 NSH over Detroit right now! Nice flop there by Smith last night as well. Should get an academy award for that.

The Flyers are actually playing really well here. I'm sure you're pleased, IDR, as they're seriously hurting LSN's chances in that bet.
