The Devils' PA announcer had to announce to the crowd that the first team to score in the OT period would win the game. Pathetic.![]()
It's good to be in the Stanley Cup finals. Who did the Devils beat to get there again?
Two can play at this game, IDR.
You know what this hockey broadcast has shown me?
NBC is really fucking up with their future lineup. They're putting on a show that's about a monkey doctor. I don't mean a doctor for monkeys, I mean a monkey that is a doctor.
At what game? I've never heard of an arena doing that in my life. No joke.
Me neither. And I've been to a few Devils games that go into OT, and I can't recall them ever making that announcement. I may have tuned it out because... well, I know the most basic rules of hockey, but I think it may be a Stanley Cup Finals thing to add some drama. It's kind of like how they explain the rules to the Royal Rumble every year. Everyone knows how it works, it just builds the anticipation even more.
My brain exploded. And I'm pretty sure my roommates hate me.
Kopitar in COMPLETELY alone on a breakaway at the BLUE LINE!? Seriously?
Literally my thoughts on the situation.
Jebus... what a breakdown and Kopitar scores on a breakaway. (Only one of the game?)
Where in the world was Bryce Salvador going? I mean it was only Kopitar that was left wide open in the middle of the ice! #nhlplayoffs
