I'm behind OKC 100%. This is how you build a franchise. Draft well, smart trades, and veteran signings. I don't think either team in the East will be able to beat the Thunder, especially considering they have home court advantage.
That's the Spurs MO.
I hope OKC wins just to see you admit you were wrong in rushing to declare the series over after 2 games.
I'll play the percentages every time and feel just as confident.
So by percentage Heat should win against Celtics since they were up 2-0. But by percentage Celtics should win because winners of Game 5 usually win the series. What's it going to be?
Just admit you were wrong in being hasty to declare the series over before it even begun.
At the time I made the call, I was playing the correct percentage at the time. Please don't pretend that anyone would have doubted the Spurs a week ago when they were on their crazy winning streak. I made a prediction that didn't pan out, it's not a matter of being "right or wrong", it was just how I felt at the time.
From Ray Allen, to Pierce, to Rondo, they're all known for their jumpers (especially Allen).
Which is why Boston stands a chance against the Thunder; don't get me wrong, the Celtics probably give up every other position to the Thunder, but the Celtics have more depth and save for Allen-Durant, no matchup is a blowout. Of course, that would be conceding the Heat are done, which I think may be the case, and would be shocking. The truth is, the Thunder do not want to see the Heat; the Heat would love to face a team that turns over the ball, so they can play that style of ball that scared the shit out of the league at the beginning of the season
I see what you're saying, but if you are Tony Parker, you can't implode like that. Westbrook isn't the greatest defender, he's actually quite subpar. If you're Parker, you can't just force up difficult shots, especially when you have plenty of time on the shot clock. Not saying he was the only one; tonight, Manu wasn't a force either, and the Spurs ragged defense finally came back to haunt them. So yeah, Parker isn't the sole reason they lost, but he's got quite a hand in it
