2010 Hall of Famers?

see you did not read my post . lou thesz & SAM MUCHNICK were both put in the HOF at the first ever Bad blood in st louis in 1997 .i have that PPV & it shows them getting inducted during the PPV.st louis was one of top paying area in wrestling at that time .Lou Thesz did not just basically unified every other "world" title in the country, he did. LOu thesz won every territories title at the time one by one & never lost them & became the first ever undisputed world champion by doing it. go read wrestling at the chase the book . it is a good read.

While I didn't read your post, I'm afraid you're mistaken. Sam Muchnick and Lou Thesz aren't in the WWE Hall of Fame. I'm at WWE.com's HOF section and there's nary a sign of Sam or Lou. Sam and Lou are both in the NWA and Professional Wrestling Halls of Fame and Lou is also in the WCW Hall of Fame. They couldn't have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1997 because the WWE stopped doing the HOF after the class of 1996 and didn't start up again until 2004.

I hope the WWE builds a WWE HOF.

There is so much talent that deserves to be inducted due to the WWE's relaxed system. I guarentee you one day the Brooklyn Brawler will get inducted...

Anyways, I'd like to see Dibiase and Roberts get inducted next year. I REALLY REALLY hope that Jake Roberts lives to see his induction. I legitimately fear he may not live to see it. An incredible talent who SHOULD be teaching wrestlers psychology but his addictions hinder his chance to do that.

I wonder if referees will ever get inducted?

then how come during the middle ofthe PPV that had hall of fame inductions & they put Sam Muchnick and Lou Thesz In a the hall of fame . go find a live copy of the first bad blood with the first hell in the cell & it will prove you different . videos don't lie . do you know the andre the gaint was inducted twice in WWE HOF. just cause they say they did not do it .does not mean it did not happen .here is link to Wikipedia saying it even happen

Dibiase, Rick Rude and Jake Roberts should all be in eventually, but I only see them putting them in one at a time. I would be fine with either Rude or Dibiase next year. As per some of the previous statements, I agree that, while they do deserve it, people like Savage, Warrior, Elizabeth, Sammartino, Owen and probably even Lex Luger won't be inducted for a while due to political reasons. Others mentioned like Rock and Trish probably wont because they are still young and healthy enough to come back and wrestle full time if they wanted...and Vince would take them back. Same with Bischoff, he could come back if he needed and if Vince wanted him to, but I don't see either the need from his side or the desire to have him back by Vince.

Road Warriors- Its a shame they haven't already been inducted

Steiners- Not until Scotty doesn't work for TNA

4 Horsemen- Only if they sort out which members this includes. It won't be all because of Benoit, and well, Jarrett basically owns the competition, Steve McMichael and Paul Roma will never be seen as good enough.

Brooklyn Brawler- you guys joke about him, but Steve Lmobardi is the best jobber of all time. I think he gets in sooner rather than later. Call it the Koko wing I guess.

Yokozuna- Will probably be in someday soon as a former champ and one of the greatest superheavy's ever.

Mr. Fuji OR Sunny- one manager per year seems to be the rule. Sunny was THE original Diva, Mr. Fuji was successful as both a manager and a wrestler.

If a referee ever gets inducted, it should probably be Earl Hebner, but we all know how he left the company. A couple WCW refs seem to be the best options to me, Nick Patrick and Randy Anderson.

I can't believe this WWE hall of fame! I know its fake and entertainment, but a hall of fame should be a HALL OF FAME! Not a hall of everyone who wrestled. Koko B Ware...come on. Didn't the Brooklyn Brawler have a similar winning %? Why not let him in too. How about the Red Rooster, TL Hopper, Mantar, the Boogyman? 2-3 should go in a year. This is a hall of wrestlers now. I understand we want to remember them all, but have a wrestling museum or something. Hall of fame should be reserved for Hogans, Flairs, Austins. Not everyone who has put on tights in the wwe.

You're misunderstanding what the event that happened was.

You are correct in that Lou Thesz and Sam Muchnick (as well as Gene Kiniski, Harley Race, Terry and Dory Funk Jr., and Jack Brisco) were honored at the 1997 Bad Blood ppv event, but they were not inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. They received special awards in a legends ceremony honoring legends of St. Louis wrestling (beings the event took place in St. Louis). I watched the event live as it happened back in 1997 and remember it well. The wikipedia link you're referring to doesn't even mention the event as being a part of the WWE HOF, because it wasn't. It was just a special ceremony giving attention and praise to some legends of St. Louis wrestling. I understand why you think it was a Hall of Fame thing beings they were given awards, but it wasn't induction into the HOF, just special awards, separate from the HOF thing. I remember a few occassions back in the '90s that WWE did this in certain cities (I remember one time in Oklahoma that Danny Hodge was honored).

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies have never taken place at a ppv event in the ring. They were always held in a theatre or ballroom type place with a dinner and things of that nature.

The WWE Hall of Fame was "started" in 1993 after Andre the Giant passed away. No ceremony was ever held or anything like that. WWE just told everyone that Andre was inducted in their new HOF. Beginning in 1994, they had an actual induction class/dinner/party with their first real class of inductees, where wrestlers and other WWE personnel inducted the inductees. They had another one in 1995, and again in 1996 right before the Survivor Series that year. Those three events were never televised, and haven't been shown on TV in their entirety or put on DVD since (I'm wondering if and when they will do that?) Then it was put on hold until 2004 when it was started up again. And has been going since.

WWE on quite a few occassions have had special ceremonies in the ring honoring past legends. The occassion at Bad Blood in which Lou Thesz and Sam Muchnick, and the Funks, Harley Race, Jack Brisco, and Gene Kiniski was exactly that. A legends ceremony honoring past legends. It had nothing to do with the WWE HOF.

If you want to know who all is in the WWE HOF, go to WWE's website. It's accurate.

Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, Brian Pillman, British Bulldog(s), Road Warriors, probably won't ever happen but never say never, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man Randy Savage, Ravishing Rick Rude, Honky Tonk Man (longest reigning IC champ ever)

The Wikipedia article you're citing doesn't list that as a WWE Hall of Fame ceremonly. It lists it as a Legends Ceremony honoring some of the great wrestling legends that made their mark on the St. Louis area. Thesz and Muchnick were two of those honored. Other honorees included Harley Race, Dory & Terry Funk, Gene Kiniski and Jack Brisco. Also, the WWE Hall of Fame article at Wikipedia doesn't make any mention of Muchnick and Thesz and, most importantly, neither does the Hall of Fame section at WWE.com. Since Wikipedia can be altered at any given time by anyone, that's why I went to WWE.com to find out. Thesz and Muchnick are not currently in the WWE Hall of Fame. They deserve to be at a later date, but they're not now.

Katie Vick??? Jim Herd??? I can't say that I follow your reasoning for those possibilities. The Katie Vick storyline was the single most tasteless storyline and embarassment in WWE history. The only good thing about it was that the WWE ended it and quickly.

Jim Herd was a complete buffoon that, I think, was managing Pizza Hut when Ted Turner tapped him to run WCW. Herd was the "genius" that came up with the idea of a tag team called The Hunchbacks. The gimmick was that they couldn't be pinned to the mat because of their humps. Let's see...another brain child of his was a lumberjack named Big Josh that danced with bears. He also had the idea of trying to have Flair shave his head and adopt a Roman gladiator character literally named Spartacus and he fired Flair for refusing to drop the title to Lex Luger. Jim Herd running a wrestling company was one of the great tragedies of modern pro wrestling.

The Repo Man, AKA Smash of Demolition, could be a possibility. Demolition did dominate the WWE tag team scene in the late 80s, including the longest World Tag Team Championship reign in WWE history.

I have a nice list of who should be inducted but again I will say this is my opinion.
1.) Owen Hart (come on peeps he died doing what he loved to do best besides his family.)
2.) Brian Pillman (He deserves this!!!! He also died working for this company)
3.) LOD (enough said)
4.) Miss Elizabeth (She was 1 of the Original Divas of The WWE.)
5.) Macho Man Randy Savage (Hogans been inducted now it's Randys turn)
6.) Andrew "Test" Martin (He passed away but He gave his heart & soul to the WWE & all the fans know this to be true!!!!)
I think that all these former wrestlers deserve this Honor. They worked & died for the business. Give them their final honor.

i can promise you The Rock will headline next year. they are in his home state of Miami Flordia and he will be there. also i would like to see the road warriors in this time and TED SR. this guy is the best heel the wwe ever had promise you that. and last how about the Macho Man Randy Savage or Ultimate Warrior i know Vince hates these people but they were an important part of wrestling history and getting Wrestlemania to where its at today.

Im not quite sure I agree with this. Putting someone in the HoF just because theyre deceased doesnt seem quite right. Sure they did it for Eddie, but it can easily be said that Eddie was 10 times as popular and as good as Test. Would people support entering Crash Holly into the HoF? Putting anyone who has worked for the company ever that has passed away would simply tarnish those who have worked to excel at what they do, regardless of whether the Hall is Kayfabe or not

As for the HoF i will have to agree with most people in saying Macho Man Randy Savage should be in the Hall of Fame, In fact he could probably recieve his own wall.

I agree about the road warriors.. wikipedia them, and you can EASILY see they have outstanding past.. more than i would say koko b ware.. i know this isnt the right thread to speak my mind on it, but, im sorry.
