I just finished the IC Title DVD last night and was very impressed by the Benjamin/Morrison/Carlito three way. It was three young guys with nothing to lose that could put on a fast paced match. That was November 06 and there were some interesting matches with Hardy and Morrison after that, but then Umaga won it and in April Santino debuted. From the day he won it until about a year and a half later the title was completely worthless. Punk getting it finally started turning the title back around. I tried to tell people that Santino was killing the belt. Looks like I was right.
Was thinking just the other day of how good a tag team Punk and Jericho could've been, with Jericho's rants of worthlessness and Punk's straight edge image (the heel'd edition). Just an interesting thought
