The amount of rep means nothing. It's why they gave the rep, which colour it was and who gave it to you. If an admin gives you green saying good job, you are doing something right. If a n00b says you suck and gives you grey, who gives a damn.

actually if a noob gives you grey rep, you know you're doing something right.

I've yet to get green rep from an admin, or grey rep from a noob. I hope to get them both eventually.

Reps, huh? They don't matter. My rep bar grew literally kicking and screaming with lousy jokes and a couple of good sigs. Of course some good posts tend to help a lot.

I know that its irrelevent, and its value to me is nothing. However I like to collect things. So I'd like to earn rep from all of the mods and admins (not that I dont want rep from other people in the process). I dont think I'm likely to achieve that though. Still big, hard goals are the best kind.
