Da Prophet
Mid-Card Championship Winner
I thought I was doing well at being good?
So Killjoy didn't take my criticism of the recent episode of Meltdown well. He's likely still mad at me for pointing out how stupid it was for his character to be a surprise entrant in the co-main event of a PPV when earlier in the night he had been defeated. Praise to Killjoy for finding a way to get that win back though.
So he had three points of disagreement with me and I thought it would be fun to go through them. It's funny because creative asked for feedback on the shows and I don't know if Killjoy expected fake praise all the time but others have reacted much better than him to criticism. Props to everyone else on creative for not getting so pissy.
Starting with point one.
1) There's two shows - I said that when discussing why it was bad for Noah Ryder, the reigning King for a Day, to not have a segment on the show outside of his match. You would have noticed that if you weren't getting all pissy as I suspect you were. The show should be able to stand by itself and tell a good story. Unfortunately I thought it was lacking.
We will move onto number 2.
2) Not everyone is gonna talk. Deal with it.
As someone who is younger and in his second year at Uni this made me laugh when he added "Deal with it" to the end of it. Not since early high school have I heard someone say that. Anyway, Killjoy is mad that I've been pointing out how many people on the roster don't get segments on the weekly shows outside of their matches. On the last weekly shows it was 12.
I agree that not everyone is going to talk. That's understandable. However I would expect the World Heavyweight Champion to talk on the show he is wrestling on. I would expect the King for a Day to talk on the show he is wresting on. I would expect the former tag champion to speak on the show he is wrestling on. This is multiplied because we're coming off a PPV. These people should have spoken.
The final point that Killjoy made was the funniest.
3) It's wrestling. Wrestling > Talking. Besides, that's what RP's are for.
Now I'm sure you're wondering why this is funny. Well the last weekly show review I did I wrote down how many segments outside of the match itself people were involved in.
Guess who appeared in the top group of 3 or more segments? Matt Tastic! So while talking isn't important it just so happens that Killjoy's character is all over the shows, appearing not just on the one he's booked on but also on the other. It gets even better since Killjoy said he was the one who put together the layout for the show last time. Well if you're putting together the show that means you're the one booking Tastic in all these segments which means you see a value in them. Is it something that only your character can enjoy or do other people get to join the fun?
So that final point is bullshit. Killjoy can claim that talking doesn't matter but it's bullshit since Tastic is on every show and never shuts the fuck up. Even at the PPV after he lost we had to get a Tastic segment and then he had to come out to the ring and get his win for the night. I bet you didn't like that I said it was shit but I was by no means the only person against Tastic being involved.
I hope you enjoyed this breakdown of Killjoy's reaction to criticism.
I'll end by giving you some praise. You make pretty graphics.

I would have liked to see something from Noah Ryder. He may get something on the upcoming show but he was booked on this show and has been in need of some microphone time as I've stated repeatedly. He's the KFAD and ignoring him is not good. I don't like the way he's been used since Kingdom Come and hopefully that changes soon. Again, this is being written before the second show. I'm judging what I see from Meltdown and each of these shows should be able to stand alone and tell a decent story without relying on the other to survive.
We will move onto number 2.
