Garth Black's actual description of his finisher in his profile page:

The Come Down (Leap of Faith, if not off the turnbuckle, off absolutely mental shit - ladder, cage, titantron, Burj Khalifa etc.)

I felt that was worth sharing, since I doubt many people have seen it. All-Stars 3, we will have Garth Black jumping off the Burj Khalifa.

This part is kind of contradicting, it's been made pretty clear as long as your funny you may make these kinds of jokes on occasion. I get that even though it's a fake world stuff still needs to be grounded in reality, most times however we're just using that rule when it's convenient.

Also nobody's writing a pedophile character, you just can't make jokes about a significantly offensive topic and then be offended or get angry when somebody else does the same, especially when it's not nearly as bad.

Water under the bridge is just that.

I haven't held a grudge or brought that whole business up since it happened.

I think the point that Falkon was trying to make was that yes. wrestling occasionally has some off-colour humour and it's fair number of non-sequiturs but generally they stay clear of controversial topics (as does most entertainment) unless it has something to say (which wrestling rarely does)

My PC is having a few hiccups right now but when I get it working reliably again (aka tomorrow) I have a match to write and then I'll send you a PM. I had told Mikey I was going to struggle to get it done but I think I should be able to do it tomorrow evening if that's OK creative

TNA with their Claire Lynch angle was awful, I wish THEY had stayed away from controversy.

This isn't ill will towards anyone, it's more of a fairness thing. As Falk will even have to admit considering his rep comment you can't complain about something like that and do the same thing is all.

The thing is, with all due respect no matter how you try to justify that particular line or call me a hypocrite for calling you out on it and then liking offensive jokes there is one key difference that I wish you would accept and is the difference between the two.

In your RP the "joke" was effectively "lol she got raped" there is nothing funny, witty or clever about that. It wasn't a joke about the act it was a joke about the victim and that there is the crucial difference. The 'dead baby' in those jokes isn't a baby we know or are expected to be emotionally invested in - its a throwaway standard joke not to dissimilar to "what's brown and sticky?"

I don't find any of the jokes I posted funny because dead babies are funny, I find them funny because they are witty or clever, they involve some form of wordplay in a way that makes them funny.

The reason that I took issue with your RP all those months ago had nothing to do with the rape joke necessarily, hell one of my favourite jokes is of that nature. It was the way in which you effectively had a character get raped and then wrote it off as a joke rather than doing something more worthy with it. You gave us a character we were supposed to care about, hell she was crucial to your feud with Alhazred, and then you as a writer chose to imply that she had been raped in a clumsy and frankly terrible way that is really reminiscent of what victims of that crime actually experience and then had the gall to defend it by calling it a joke.

If you are too childish to understand why that made me think less of you then I honestly despair. Especially since we agreed to let it be. However, the way you reacted and responded to the jokes that I posted by calling me a hypocrite serves only to demonstrate that you are in fact extremely childish and have a fundamental lack of understanding about what makes things funny.

Also this is not me calling you out, do not consider a lack of response from me in any way a concession of defeat. This is the last I have to say on the matter both publicly and privately as since you brought it up in the way you did I felt like I should make sure my original grievance with you was fully articulated. Now please can you just let it lie.

I'm not reading all of this because the exact reason I didn't specifically quote you originally was because I knew you would go overboard and as I predicted talk about the wrong thing when I wasn't even talking to you directly. I don't care if you make jokes, the gist is don't get angry when others do it too because yes, that is hypocritical. I ask that you please calm down as well, you more than anybody always takes it to great offense when someone has a different opinion.

Maybe you should read it. You might learn something.

I've been super busy all day, and by that I mean watching football and eating a lot of food. That said, I just submitted the main event of Meltdown, and I think Meltdown is just about ready to go. Someone just has to put it together now.

Now I feel bad about working since 5 in the morning and still working.

I beat the odds again I see. See you suckas at Redemption when I win the whole damn tourney.

Also who wrote my match and the Krypto/SHIT segment after?

I always rep creative at the end of a round of shows. Creative can show us some respect by being cool about things like rep.
;)
