WZCW Discussion Thread

Nobody missed any point, it's called expressing an opinion and having an interesting debating. Nobody hates DC for expressing his feelings, most just find it to be flat out wrong, which it is.
Which is your opinion.

Plenty of people have plenty of opinions about the fed. I know better than most that you are going to have and express their own opinions no matter what and I accepted that because I learnt it the hard way.

That makes the fed unbearable at times because you feel like you cant do anything right especially by certain people but it also makes it a pleasure to be in the fed. Usually.

I'm quite happy that this is probably at its core the most divisive issue in the fed but it is probably its best quality. There are plenty of personalities that I have never come across in an efed before and to be honest I never thought some of them would have succeeded. It's a credit to the writers.

That includes you. It's blindingly obvious you think I suck in all aspects of the fed but you are in a spot I never thought I would see. You flourished in the Mentorship Program which was a make or break call on my part and you made it in style. After the Joe West experience, i never thought you would be in the spot that you are now. I thought there was a chance that you might fade away after losing the Mayhem Title match but you went all out and built a feud for yourself to put yourself on the KC V card. Again, I would have put money that you wouldnt have put yourself there.

You've proved me wrong. I still think there's a whole chunk of character development and options that you could explore but that's my opinion on every comedy/non-serious character in the fed.

There. That's the rant I've wanted to have but couldnt be arsed to type out on my phone.

Now who wants to read my RP when I have stopped writing for the night? In just over an hour

Stop talking about it. I've seen and read enough. I'm done with it. I'm tires of people adding words to what I said and I'm tired of people misreading what I said.

I am NOT discrediting crediting anybody's writing. I am just not a fan. When put into a corner about it I tried explaining my stance. Whether it came off cocky or not, I apologize. I was just being blunt and straightforward about it. I would rather people understand where I was coming from. I don't need to be told I am wrong.

In other news I just woke up to read like nine pages of bullshit. I'm hungover like fuck, so here are my words of wisdom for everyone... shut the hell up, its sunday... go enjoy yourself.

Bowen has spoke,, let it be known.

Can't help but wonder what happened to Michigan. Its been over a year since he left, he and I had the last match he roleplayed for.

He PM'd us before he left last year, letting us know that real life was forcing him to step aside for awhile. It didn't sound to me like it was going to be that long, but apparently it was longer than we thought.

Hopefully he'll be back someday. I think DC is proof that you never get over this place entirely.

Well, if we're being blunt....

I'm not near offended by anything DC said, but I do find an astounding lack of self awareness. This is all based on his opinion of over the top characters, no?

Well, let's remember that TSA is pretty over the top. Well done, but over the top. And DC was put right with them, upon return, right into THE mid card feud. Not a mid card feud, the mid card feud.

Let's also not forget that this gives him the chance to work with Numbers and Thriller, easily some of the better RP'ers around. Then, it gave him Slice, who's already one of the better ones I see, and I want an immediate feud with the minute he turns face. So yeah, he gets that, too, with being in a pretty over the top gimmick. Hell, it gives him fodder for his RP's.

Now, let's look at Blade and Bowen, both who came back the same time as DC, yes?

Both have reinvented themselves, busted heir asses, and pulled off some comparable work.

You'll note, they're both off of the card.

So, I don't mind what he's said; but I do invite him to consider how much over the top has done for his run so far.

Now, I'll be at the park. React with the according outrage

Me too. My sabbatical was from 2009 to early 2012.

For what's it worth I don't think you suck at everything. GM is doing much better than Reynolds in my opinion. I just found you to be one of my biggest detractors at the time and proving you wrong at everything was just a goal of mine. Now that it's seemingly accomplished I'll happily go about my business.

You know things have gone too far when Phatso is the one trying to calm things down.

And yet, you're on the card. I wonder if that's anything to do with your opponent.

Lol. I made a Creative clout joke. I haven't done that since before I joined Creative. After that, they kinda hit too close to home. *sniffle*

Yeah, 5500! Maybe our adopted grandkids will tell us about one million one day!

By my calculations, it'll take just over 180 years to get to one million based on the current rate of posting.

All that'll be left is cockroaches, and Doug Crashin running this place, making cardboard titles for himself.

Blasphemy!

You need to know how to pull off gimmicky characters. I'm gonna be honest with this one bit. Krypto/Alhazred has lost it's goddamn mind. The stuff with the Powerglove was fun and entertaining. But now this deal with Missy and Facecrush has taken a somewhat comical storyline and turned it into an incoherent cartoon. In contrast you have Saxoteur being no different from how they normally are against the uber-serious Smith and Rush. It's not over-the-top, it's not wacky. It's normal. And no one had to change their gimmick.

I do believe that Action Saxton is the first truly over-the-top character to enter modern WZCW. Before him the quirkiest character on the roster was..... Baez, I guess. I thought Action Saxton was stupid. But then his RP's were something that help you win matches. Entertaining. Then came Barbosa and Saboteur and SHIT with ridiculous characters from a wrestling perspective. These are the kinds of gimmicks from Jim Herd era WCW or New Generation WWE that were just really silly. But guess how the RP's were? Entertaining. And they still are. I get what DC is saying because I saw how these characters came and changed the fed. But don't worry. If you're too silly, you end up like Donny J.
