So you don't have any answers for logic. But you have to keep hating on her.

Good. MR high level IQ.

You can stop being an ass dude. Just ignore the shit that bothers you and move on.

Quit the shit now. That's the end of it. What a waste of 15 minutes reading that.

Reminder that Krypto won the mentorship program.

Also, guys, this is fake fake wrestling. I get the whole "don't load your moveset up with finishers" mentality for sure, but if he wants Xaitlyn to do a burning hammer on Wasabi Toyota, let her do a burning hammer on Wasabi Toyota.

I think that's up for the people on creative to decide. Me, I'm an old school kind of guy, I've never watched Lucha Underground. That said I'm willing to accept most outlandish or colourful characters and gimmicks. EX: Undertaker I have no problem with (we kind of had one in Ty Burna) because while he is "super natural", his powers can easily be explained logically. The lights go out disappearing (druids abduct someone, hides under the ring), the urn (most pro athletes are superstitious). That said when it comes to people doing things they are physically incapable of, a 150lb women triple powerbombing a 350 lb man, or a 400 lb man doing to Red Arrow, I'm against that. Yea, we're a fake fake wrestling fed, but I've always liked the idea in the ring we're grounded by some sense of realism. I mean, that's why we have All Stars, to have silly ridiculous moves and gimmicks, that's why there are feds like your Doc, for RP'ers and writers to have those options. In here I don't want to see Xaitlyn for example, lift somebody off the ground by the neck and chockslam them off the top rope. I won't buy that as a reader. By keeping it grounded in realism, it keeps it challenging for the RP'er to deal with the limitations they created for their character, it challenges creative to deal with those limitations inside the ring and to be creative, and for me anyway, makes it more enjoyable and believable. We open the door to people hitting whatever moves they want, it suddenly becomes a WWE game or a Teikan game, and then where do we draw the line?

My opinion.

I think that, in a fed that is ostensibly based in reality, you absolutely need limits. At the same time, you can also have a lot of fun working up to, say, a burning hammer on Wasabi Toyota. Things like that in my eyes shouldn't be automatically off the table because "it's not real". I'm not saying everyone should be doing 750 splashes and triple powerbombs, I'm saying that a single big move in a match that is built can create an incredible moment, especially if it's a smaller opponent slamming a larger opponent. Hogan vs. Andre is the easy example, though Green Ant vs. Tursas in CHIKARA was lovely until that whole thing went off the rails. There's also Luger and Yokozuna, etc.

I think too often people are so focused on "reality" they fail to embrace the freedom that writing of this style does afford us.

So I'm giving Ram robot legs.

Come at me.

I actually have a character with a form-fitting supersuit built for her after an in-ring accident paralyzed her. The difference is that the world around her has been built in such a way that this isn't unusual, and the suit itself has various limitations and design factors that don't play into a match, making it easy enough to discuss and write for. It's all about obeying the rules of the reality you're given while embracing the media you're writing for.

Writing, man! Fiction. Gotta love it.

I just want to see Creative work around something like this, the new character rep for Ramparte:

Pretty much spot on Doc. We can stretch limitations inside the ring to lead to a big move if the build to it makes sense, but it shouldn't be where someone hits these moves frequently when they shouldn't. It's creative writing, be creative and have fun. I dont care too much about what someone writes in their RPs, we've had some out there shit, but in the ring I draw a line. I'll give an example, I was very vocal about S.H.I.T. When Miko submitted the app after All Stars. I'm a huge fan of the character and I credit the writer for writing him so well. 2 things i requested he change were, that he had to have his own finished, I didn't mind him copying move sets, I thought that was clever, but he needed a finish. The 2nd we told him write him how ever you want, but in the end he's a human in a robot suit and not a robot. While that sounds confusing, basically we wanted to shut the door on any mystic or fantasy character in a WZCW ring. No super powers, no flying, no stretching limbs or lasers. Have them believe whatever you want to be outside the ring. In the ring, he's limited, but in his RPs and backstage segments, it can be taken almost anywhere. I think that greatly benefitted him, as he was able to use emotion or pain whenever the moment seemed right, thus allowing him additional choice to write in a view more in reality.

With Xaitlyn, I don't care if she's some supernatural folklore type character who can change into a snake, if the rp'er wants to write that let them. However, if they are a 175 lb women and the app reads super human strength and speed and has 8 or so really big lifting moves, ill say "hey now, we're going to remove some of these. And ground some of the over the top stuff. Easy way to do that 'believes she can/is...'"

I'm only going to say this once before I start taking action. No more ridiculous fighting. It is fine to dislike a character, I've seen plenty of characters that I wasn't a fan of. It is also fine to think a move set is weird, there are plenty of you guys that have move sets that I find weird, but the line between civil discussion/constructive criticism and all out fighting has been crossed a few times in the last few days. I don't need to say specific names, because you all know who you are and we are all adults here. If you feel you have a legitimate complaint, then PM one of the creative members about it. Otherwise the fighting stops now.

Like I said, the discussion thread is a place for just that, civil discussion. That includes criticism so long as it is constructive. Simply calling someone out because you don't like them isn't constructive, and it ends now.

That's kinda of how it is with Kagura and her powers with the book. In kayfabe her powers work like the Undertaker's where he's shooting lighting and summoning fire and whatnot. But outside of that she's a shrine maiden and a priestess. You'd have to examine faith in religion versus coincidence to see whether or not her powers would still work.

Clarifying something about Xaitlyn:

Her identity WILL and SHOULD never acknowledged on WZCW TV. It's only out in the RolePlays where I wana use it.

If she's acknowledged, that's a big problem. Because she could turn into ANY HUMAN Being. Aka if she has a match against Mikey, then she could turn into Mark Henry. Which would make things much complex. Her real identity will always remain hidden in front of audience as as to keep her motive alive.

If Yaz allows then I could remove all power moves thus ending all discussion.

Prophet is a bad RPer.

Screw the rules. Down with the Yazman!

I think da Spidey lost his damn mind. I fully expect a Ramborg run in at Lethal Lottery. Well....not so much a run in, kind of a saunter in with those robolegs.
