How did the former World Champion (a face) end up talking to the equivalent of a heel jobber?

I explained that early on. Tony needed Mikey's advice on what's going on in his life. Why it was Mikey that can be explained with Yaz's Gold Rush RP. Out of everyone on the roster Mikey is the only one that has been through what Tony is going through right now. As for why it started when he came in and ended with Mikey leaving that's what I wanted the RP to consist of. The conversation between 2 men that have had a similar life changing experience. I completely forgot about Mikey's history with Veejay until I was typing up my RP so I used that as well. As for the face/heel dynamic you brought up this is where I tried something I've never seen done before. I wanted to blur the line between face and heel and just have it be 2 guys talking. That's the reason the only heelish things I had tony do was take both drinks and insult Taco Bell

You have to give us more of a window into Tony’s world, rather than a snapshot.

I'll be honest I'm not sure what you mean here. If you could go into more detail that would be great

I've done this before and it has never turned out well. I end up repeating myself and adding a bunch of fluff that doesn't need to be in there which takes down the quality.

and aim to give us that basic story structure; a beginning, middle and end as well as an interesting event or two.

this I can do. I mean I thought that's what I've been doing the whole time but I will give it more thought going forward.





on a completely side note this is the first time I got an RP idea from someone else's old RP. Before I remembered that Mikey and Tony both suffered a death in the family I was at a total loss as to what I was gonna do.

Kudos to Prince Vee and Dave's podcasts. Prince Vee, you have to put a few boxes in that room to break up that echo. But I agree with mostly everything that was said in both pods, especially tag team wresting.

Prince Vee brought up the lack of in ring promo segments and I agree with him. There should be more in ring opposed to backstage segments. I'm not saying every segment should be in ring but one or two more instead of backstage would slightly change the feel of an episode.
