WZCW Discussion Thread

I've did 3 introductory RP's for different characters and it always does. You have to find that right balance between showing what is important to the character whilst simultaneously making it an interesting read for the reader. Invariably, this often leads to gargantuan RP's.

I don't think any of my intro RPs were overly long, and Coberer's certainly won't be. My God that voice hurts. I've got a rough plan of what I want to say but I've not had a chance to sit down and write it yet.

As I recall both of my introductory RPs were comfortably under 1000 words. Penning an introduction is like making love, you want to get it finished as quickly as possible... or something like that.

In the interest of full disclosure, Black Dragon got rejected for a contract the first time round in favor of someone who wrote three and half thousand utterly mediocre words - so take my insight for what its worth.

My first contract RP was just over 800 words. It was poorly formatted, but it was a pretty decent RP I think.

Who was that?

King Shaba I think; the guy I've carried resentment towards for years because he was allowed to enter with a fuckin' elephant when nobody else was allowed pyro.

I think Ocarina is the closest to a perfect game I've played, except for maybe Mass Effect 2. But I understand why people think it's overrated, some people don't get Zelda. And I don't mean that in a condescending way, it's about your taste in games.

Mass Effect 2 is pretty fucking epic.

I don't think I could find five games of this generation I've enjoyed enough to make a list.

Dragon Age, Faster than Light, possibly Rogue Legacy at which point I start going err...
