WZCW Discussion Thread

I agree with this entirely. I've read through each RP this week a number of times and have seen at least three that are 95% dialogue. I hate that with a passion, especially as the ones I am thinking of come from writers who I think are better than that.

You think I'm better? :)

Yeah my debut consisted of one line:

Ty Burna defeats USA via submission

Greatest debut ever.

Perhaps one day, when the History of WZCW (Part 1) 13 disc Blu-Ray compilation is released, it will contain the never before seen footage of Meltdown 23. It will be revealed to the confusion of all that Ty made USA submit by tickling him with a feather.

It's cool man. It just gets to be a bit bothersome when we get questions like that. Now if it was 9 PM in the evening then I would believe you have a right to ask that question. Just keep in mind that if there is a delay on shows we will let everyone know immediately.

That was a lethal feather. If Serafina hadn't misplaced it I would still be undefeated in WZCW.

We dont write contract matches because it's draining writing 2-3 matches a show for MD & AS. That will continue because while we appreciate the offer, contract matches are often irrelevant and unimportant. It is just a case of seeing who can write, seeing where everybody's capabilities are at. Everyone is different,

My memory is Gelg's recent contract match in particular is that we had ten or twelve new apps, a pretty massive influx by our standards. Writing a battle royal is much tougher than single or multi man matches. It's not like the old days where they had to ask for volunteers to write MD & AS matches. Plus when we did offer match and show writing to the masses, it was the All Stars show and I still had to drag out as much as help as possible.

We ask for your thoughts on everything else. The guys can vouch for us that we consider every idea that we have PM'd to us. And even then, it doesn't always seem enough.

See I appreciate that, except this is a case where you actually have people offering to write the match for you. If there's no time or manpower then fair enough, a contract match is low priority, but in a situation where someone is actually saying 'can I write the match?', then I can't for the life of me see where the harm lies.

They might be irrelevant and meaningless to you, but to the people in them they frequently do matter. People often put a lot of work in to their contract pieces, I'm living testimony that simply providing a demonstration that you can write is not necessarily enough to get you through the door, which is why I had to do two of the blasted things. If you write a role-play then at the very least you deserve to know the result of the match you were in, and if there's a shot at getting the match written up properly without wasting creative resources there where is the harm in taking it up?

To everyone who I said I would do Feedback for, I will not be doing it now. I've been way too busy compared to what I thought I would be. I'll do it for everyone I can do next week.

Promise <3

The show is 80% complete. Just waiting on a couple pieces and it will be up. I shall go indulge myself in Skyrim while waiting.

I bought my brother Skyrim for an early Christmas present. I am so close of running into his room and taking the damn thing back and keeping it for myself.

Meltdown ETA: June 2014

I don't even like Skyrim, but everyone else has been making jokes about its life eating qualities; I wanted to join in.

We may be running late this evening, Falkon and Showtime have found limited time to write their matches. My apologizes ahead of time. Hopefully we can get it up this evening at some point, if not we will post it up as soon as we can tomorrow.

It amazed me that stuff like " Milenko lost to Murfish after a random herd of cattle ran him over." never went down in that show. Seemed kinda fitting.

You know what sucks? I live in Australia's capital for internet (i.e. every ISP available in Australia has 2000% connectivity and can offer every service) and I get terrible ISP service... bloody TPG.

But: the issue is resolved for now. I should be okay... should.
