I really have to applaud Wrestlezone for taking the initiative to Clean Up it's act. With this innovative concept, not being done anywhere else, we can certainly attract a new breed of poster.
Like I told Mr. Hall, we will no longer be serving alcohol in the Bar Room ... I mean, The Clubhouse. Rather, we will be serving cookies and milk. We will also be serving Ovaltine on special occasions.
I'd like to also propose that there be no references to:
Blood
Alchohol
Controlled Dangerous Substances
Scantily-Clad Women
Rape
Murder
Along with No:
Cursing
Swearing
Using the Lord's name in vain
Flaming
Instigating
... while interacting with other "Club" members.
This concept will be sure to increase Wrestlezone's Advertising Revenues two-fold, as we attract first-rate companies to the site.

When do I get to be the host. First thing I will do is a forum wide battle royal for the title. Where I insert myself in the match at the end winning the title. Only to lose it 2 hours later at the airport where JKO finds it clams it as his own title and remakes it to have some crazy look to it. He will then lose it in a match to General Disarray who will then be payed off by Doc who will then sale the belt on EBay where I get it back.....

While a clean up is entirely necessary, I just don't quite agree with KB's enthusiasm. I assume that the majority of us here are between 14 and 29 so having a PG atmosphere here doesn't seem important or necessary to all us here. The WWE is following a PG rating because they lost the teen/young adult audience due to UFC's huge popularity and wrestling just not being as popular as it once was, so that is why they have begun to target children again to maintain and possibly grow some sort of audience. A PG atmosphere will only draw in a PG audience (14 and under for those who forget parental guidence) and the WWE has already swept up that audience with WWE Universe. So I can't see kids 14 and under signing up and actively participating in another forum not sponsered or supported by WWE and one that fully recognizies that wrestling is not real and these wrestlers are real people, not just characters.

The best way to clean up the forums is to pit all newcomers into designated spamming areas to see how they do. Once they get to a formidable point, we bring them up to the main roster to the WZ... allowing them to give detailed analysis in the wrestling section. If they do well, they can trial their efforts into different areas of the forums. If they pass the last test of proving themselves worthy, they can enter the Bar Room.

Whilst I appreciate what you're saying, you have to realise the wrestling industry is changing, and we as a wrestling forum must change with it. As you pointed out UFC has taken a lot of viewers from WWE, and likewise, MMA forums are taking members from wrestling forums. It is true that the majority of members are older than 14, but as regular posters decline, we have to look at alternative ways of getting new posters. If that means creating a forum that parents will be happy to let their kids go on then that is what we must do. We realise we may lose posters from this, but we will gain a lot more.
We appreciate that not everybody here will be happy with these developments, but we believe they are necessary in order for WZ to continue to grow.
