Ty and myself run a dynasty style fantasy football league, and have an opening for a new team owner.
A dynasty fantasy football league works much like franchise mode in Madden. You keep much of the same roster from year to year, with the exception of players you choose not to keep (on a 40 man roster, you are limited to 25 keepers)
Our draft consists of the new rookie class coming in, plus all the players people chose not to keep (IE free agents)
We also use "IDP" or "Individual Defensive Players". They work the same way offensive players do, but with defensive stats (Obviously). Tackles, sacks, and interceptions etc, get you points.
We intended this to be the ultimate true to life team management simulation, so defense is just as important or nearly so as offense.

Everyone in the league has a blast with it, but it also does involve a solid level of involvement from a team owner, as you must be familiar with incoming NFL draft prospects and the like. Not to mention, the majority of our members are very passionate about the league, so a zombie owner is something that really chaps everyone's ass.
Unfortunately, you will be inheriting the former owner's team. Fortunately, the roster is easily a top 5 roster, with plenty of assets to trade should you chose to do so. Everyone in our league is VERY open to trades and roster moves, another aspect of the league that makes it very fun.
