WWE TLC 2015: Tables Elimination Match - Team ECW VS The Wyatt Family

It's official that ECW alumni the Dudley Boyz, Tommy Dreamer and Rhyno will take on the Wyatt Family in a Tables Elimination Match. In order for one side to claim victory, all members of the opposing team must be put through a table. Whenever you're put through a table, you're outta the match and are herded back to the locker room.

I'd say that the Wyatt Family has this and I'm hoping they win pretty decisively because if they can't get past the old guard of ECW, then it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that the Wyatt Family isn't going very far at all. I see Erick Rowan and possibly Luke Harper being eliminated during the match with Wyatt & Strowman left as the winners.

Bit of a misleading team name calling them Team Extreme. I subconsciously was thinking of The Hardys and Lita.

But yeah The Wyatts need to win, there's nothing that The Dudleys, Rhyno and Dreamer get from winning. Sure they can all still technically go but they're not going to be staples of the company in ten years.

Let them all hit their finishers on the Wyatts (Gore, 3D, Dreamer DDT) but ultimately let the Wyatts win

This is the perfect opportunity to bring Braun Stroman's status up and over everyone. He should lose his mind during the match and destroy everyone , including The Wyatts and go off on his own...the uncontrollable beast.

That's a logical conclusion, yet I don't know if WWE is going to be logical in this case.

As to the notion of the Wyatts not going very far, there seems to be a different measure for Bray's gang than for virtually everyone else. Accomplishments usually involve titles.....and I see no reason for Bray's gang to hold title belts; they are extraneous to what the Wyatts are about. To that end, they could lose this match and still keep coming up as a threat to whomever they decide to go against. The flexibility of their 'mission' keeps them as viable opponents for just about anyone.

In this case, illogical though it may be, WWE might want the ex-ECW guys to pull out a victory since the 'tables' stuff is a style they essentially invented in the old federation.

No, the ECW guys have no need to win anything.....and in my opinion, just seeing them out there should be sufficient to give the old-time fans a charge, but I'm not certain it's going to turn out that way.

The Wyatts should win, if only because they're due to win something .....so I'll give Bray a cautious nod in this one.

Its a must win for Wyatt Family and more importantly Bray Wyatt.....Bray Wyatt has been initiating feuds and then losing them..... This trend must be halted at TLC..... Wyatt Family can get major rub by defeating these ECW Originals and ECW Originals have nothing to lose if they lost and nothing to gain if they win.... But Wyatt Family and especially Bray Wyatt needs a major win and i think Wyatt Family should be dominating in this way and winning it cleanly despite eating finushers from ECWians.. I always hope Wyatt to win but my hope is always postponed but i think it must be rendered this time..... Please WWE dont ruin an awesome talent like Bray Wyatt....

This is more appealing than any of the thrown together Survivor Series matches or the Wyatt/B.O.D. encounter. That said, why are you trying to rehabilitate the Wyatt Family and have them go against nobodies like Dreamer, Rhyno and The Dudleyz?

This match is going to be ridiculous to follow, unless they do that strange as hell thing where they make it an actual tag team match under no DQ rules. (Which theyve done plenty of times).

Strauman is going to steal the show, doing his 3 or 4 power moves he actually knows how to do, and Luke/Rowan will probably get eliminated quickly, as WWE doesn't want them to accidentally look good.

My REAL hope, is that this match gets extreme but ends with all 4 Wyatts still in it, and eliminating all 4 ECW, making all 4 Wyatts look strong, while it doesn't hurt the ECW crew, although someone is getting 3d'd through a table, it's inevitable.

I had seen some riveting comments about The Wyatt family losing their appeal by feuding with the ECW Originals after having a high quality feud with the Brothers of Destruction. But I don't mind this one seriously, they are desperate for a big win at a PPV and the ECWs can put them over. That's the only way we bring back the power to Bray Wyatt!

Moreover, All the other tag teams and top superstars are engaged themselves in as many feuds. And don't underestimate the ECWs. They're still are blinders! With the context of the PPV being a hardcore, I'll pay to watch this match!

Wyatts should win this. It should be an entertaining match. I'm curious to see what's next for Bray after this, especially with WM around the corner.

Wyatts win, pretty much in the manner mentioned by the OP.

Harper and Rowan are the expendable Wyatts. Unless a new angle pops up for Strowman to break off, Bray is the face to keep alive. Strowman has been "unbeatable" so far, so I'd expect a good showing from him, too.

On the flip side, everyone on team ECW is expendable. The Dudleys are here to put people over. So is Rhyno. Tommy Dreamer is walking nostalgia. Maybe a 3D puts Harper/Rowan through one table and a Gore gets the other one. Then, they get eaten alive by Strowman and Bray. The longer this goes, the worse it is going to be.
