Honestly, I would not bring back any of those, unless it was to replace the awful new ones like Hell In A Cell, Elimination Chamber, Breaking Point and TLC.
If I were to redo the PPV schedule, I would replace most of the current ones and bring back old pay per views instead. But I would make a gimmick for each one, but good gimmicks that won't get stale, not just stupid ones all based around one match (HIAC, EC, TLC). The way to get the fans to keep ordering the PPVs is by making each one unique, not by having endless PPVs which are all the same. Which is why gimmick PPVs would give each one something different, although not the gimmick PPVs they give us now.
January: Royal Rumble - one of the current "big four" pay per views, and it will obviously be one of the highest buyrates. The RR match alone makes it unique
February: Fully Loaded - name shows it is part of the build up to Wrestlemania, which I think would be enough to achieve quite a lot of buys, as long as the card is good, which it should be as it would be part of WM build up
March: NOTHING because it would allow for an extra months Wrestlemania build
April: Wrestlemania - don't need to explain why
May: Extreme Rules - all extreme matches, unique PPV, but make it ACTUALLY extreme unlike the 2010 event
June: King of the Ring - such a great concept, very different to the other PPVs and it has an established name, being one of the former "big five" PPVs
July: NOTHING - they want to make Summerslam the second biggest PPV so like WM, they should give it more build up time, also with two months of the year not having PPV, it would actually free up more buld up time for all PPVs
August: Summerslam - second biggest PPV, known name
September: Wargames - great pay per view, but I would make the WWE version a bit different, it would all be Raw vs. Smackdown matches, some of them single matches, some tag matches, and war games for the main event. Another different PPV
October: No Way Out - I would bring the name back but change the gimmick. It would be similar to Lockdown, most of the matches would be enclosure type matches. But not just physical enclosures like cages, this way it would not get stale because there would be a lot of options. Inferno, Steel Cage, HIAC, Elimination Chamber, lumberjack, ambulance, casket, stipulation matches, punjabi prison, war games, battle royals etc
November: Survivor Series - also different to other PPVs, team elimination matches, has a known name etc
December: Night of Champions - IMO the best pay per view to end the year. It is the end of the year and it is soon going to begin a new one, so what better way to end the PPV year than by having all the titles defended? And of course it is another unique PPV
- Obviously, I have used the words unique and different a lot. All these PPVs are unique to each other, none of them have the same concept and because of that it would give people a reason to order them, as they wouldn't just be "another normal Pay Per View". That a long with good booking of course (we wish)
