Although it would be nice to see Undertaker compete in the MITB, but the only time we'el see him now is the obvious appearance at Raw 1000, and then not again until the run up to WM next year.

It would be nice to see the younger stars get their shot at MITB, thats what it was created for, but WWE have already made their minds up now, WWE Championship MITB will be for the main players & the WHC MITB will be for whoever picks up the scraps.

But it seems these days EITHER title doesent seem to have the same prestige.

Normally I would not like the idea of former champs being in the MITB match, but in this case I think it is a good option to go with Cena and have him be the first to cash in and lose. It would not hurt him at all, and it might shake up the holding of the briefcase again. He said he wanted to be on the other side of the cash in, and it would make perfect sense that once he is on the other side for him to lose.

Y2J NEEDS to win this!!

Everything makes more sense this way.

1. He hasnt won at a PPV since his return and needs to instantly make impact at this PPV after his return and be in the title picture.

Ziggler should win the other and cash in as soon as SummerSlam.

Y2J, however, should wait months.

See first off, it's his creation so yeah I say give him a go at winning his own creation, he needs it, again hasnt won a PPV since his return so make up for it by having him beat three big stars in one night.

And be smart, let him take the briefcase OUTSIDE of the WWE environment and ON TOUR with Fozzy!

It's not the title, but it's better because you dont have the title away from the events, but the thing that gets you the title if you cash in at the right time. Have the champion attend a concert and challenge Y2J to cash in at the concert, TEASE this shit to death!

Maybe have a Fozzy concert on Raw and have Y2J leave, then later in the
3rd hour he's still there and cashes in or save it for PPV

I just feel it could be good to take this briefcase for the biggest title in WWE on tour, on radio shows and talk shows when he promotes Fozzy. The creator of the concept promoting it in the biggest way anyone ever has and cashing in and being the first to lose as 1. it's his concept, he can take it and have had fun just getting to win the match he made and 2. he doesnt need the win. He can make history in the history of the match he made by being the first to lose. OR just have him win. but the best thing he can do is take the briefcase out of WWE and on tour with Fozzy

Cena doesnt need it, Show can wait, Kane can wait although if Jericho doesnt win Kane should win, he's had luck at it before and didnt wait. I'd like to see him win the WWE belt one more time, he only has held it once. Instead of holding it 24 hours they need to give him a decent run with the main title this time.

Hell, let's make it 24 months!

The 2 Year Reign of Kane! then have him put over Damien Sandow after a 2 year midcard run and chasing the IC title.

It's funny, this match strikes me as nearly the opposite of the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank match -- this one is chock full of stars, whereas the other one is mostly full of up-and-comers. I'm not sure if they'll keep adding people to this match -- as it's fairly small right now -- but even if they don't, this will be a really tough match to call. Cena could be an early favorite and I wouldn't be surprised to see him winning, but I don't think he'd be the wisest choice, unless they plan on having the briefcase holder finally lose the match -- though, that's a bit of a stretch. Jericho is a possibility too, but considering that he'll be leaving soon (allegedly) and coupled with the fact that he's consistently been in title matches since his return, I see no sense in having him win the case. That leaves Kane and Big Show, only one of whom (Big Show) I feel is an actual threat to the case -- Kane just doesn't strike me as a potential winner, at all, and just serves as filler. Big Show, on the other hand, is my dark horse to win it. They've been pushing him very hard since his heel turn and winning this match would finally solidify him as a monster heel. Plus, I don't think we're quite done with John Laurinaitis and I see some potential involvement between he and Big Show.

So, right now, this match is too close to call. 3 out of the 4 current competitors have a great chance at winning, and I'm not seeing one guy who's head and shoulders above the rest of the competitors. I'm actually excited to see this match and where they decide to go with it, because all of the competitors will offer something new and different as the carrier of the Money in the Bank briefcase. It should be fun.

I see only 2 real (and reasonable) winners of this match, based on who is in the match as of now.

Chris Jericho or John Cena.

Yes, John Cena makes sense because he can win it, cash it in ahead of time (doing the honorable thing) against CM Punk for SummerSlam... and lose. Sending 'a huge shock through the WWE Universe'!

Chris Jericho makes sense to win it because he can make it more important and noticable world wide by taking the briefcase on tour with him and he can wait to cash it in until after his Fozzy tour (while hopefully wrestling or appearing on RAW at least a few times during that stint). If he cashes it in on CM Punk it would be ultimate revenge since CM Punk has really got the better of him since his return.

Some people are upset that John Cena is in the match but it basically has to happen. Yes, John Cena doesn't need MITB but maybe he DOESN'T win it but still will get his match with CM Punk at SummerSlam (because if Jericho wins it he will 'be gone' for a while on tour so someone has to step up against CM Punk). Plus, what else would Cena do at SummerSlam? They can't not put him on the card and there is no time or other non-title feud worth putting him in before his feud starts with CM Punk before SummerSlam.

So this match isn't as bad as some people may make it sound. I DO AGREE that I'd like to see more 'up and comers' in it like before and like the World Title MITB but at least they DO have that in the World Title MITB match and this is probably a one-time thing for this year's MITB WWE Title match.

Haha, the MITB match is for people who havent won the WWE or World Title before. Brilliant!!! Its not at all, its about giving someone an opportunity at the title and it doesnt matter who the hell it is. Its to create storylines and entertain!!!

This match will be great! It will really have star power in there. Added to the 4 who are already in there, I think we will probably see The Miz and Rey Mysterio added. I dont think Randy Ortons suspension is up so he cant take part. Maybe JBL will make up number 7?

If WWE want a swerve, they could have Jericho win but lose his cash-in match. I can imagine Jericho being willing to do that and I can't really think of anyone who could sell it as well as Jericho. Only reason I suggest this is the briefcase would be wasted on Cena who would cash in honourably anyway so why not have something different? With Jericho more focused on Fozzy than ever and not really wanting that huge last match exit, losing a cash-in may be the way to go. I somehow doubt this idea will be popular though haha.

god, I wish that Mysterio and Miz get into this... But, they won't. I think it's a way for someone to finally lose the WHC match. It would be great if that person of all people would be Cena, but I could see Jericho too. They want Cena in the main event at Summer Slam, he cashes in and looses. YES! YES! YES!

Anyway, the winner of this match should carry it around just for a month, or max 2, then cash it in.

I like the idea of it being former champs. It throws a little wrinkle into the formula.

I'd love to see Cena win, then be the first guy to fail. I'm not a Cena hater, I think he's one of the best in the world, I just think it'd be cool to see what his character would do. Or if he teases a heel turn by coming out after a brutal Punk match....then doesn't cash in.

I don't see this as a huge highspot ladder match, but worked totally different. Which is good, you need variety. Can't turn it into "who can jump off the tallest shit" in the bank.

I'm pulling for John Cena to win this match for the simple reason that I want him to face off against Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam. If Cena wins this match then he can cash in against Bryan, announcing it on Raw before the PPV, and then possibly lose. Personally I don't care if he loses the title or gets it back but I want to see that match.

Looking at these guys John Cena looks like the best option. Nobody wants to see Show win the thing, Kane isn't going to win it as his title run days are basically over, Jericho has his band and Cena is just perfect to win the match. It makes perfect sense for him to win and achieve something he has yet to do. He's had it cashed in on him multiple times and I think it's time for Cena to experience the other side of the case.

I'm expecting this to be one of the more grounded MiTB matches compared to most. I think because of the bigger guys we will see more ladders being used as weapons rather then people jumping off them. Jericho taking a dive off a ladder seems like the most likely spot seeing as he is the smallest out of the group and the most capable to do such a spot.

Should be a fun match.

It's be Kane, I'm expecting one big spot in this match that takes out Cena and show, and then Kane will toss Jericho through a table and climb up the ladder to become the number one contender, only to come out later and defeat CM Punk for the WWE with the help of AJ and then Cena will come out and be the great defender of goodness on the next raw.

Can't really see anything but a Cena win here as I figure the match ends with some sort of crazy AA on Show before Cena grabs the briefcase. It's a shame there isn't a couple of extra guys in this to vary it up a bit as Show and Kane are not exactly cut out for ladder matches.

I really hope they add at least one more person, like maybe a returning star? Rey Mysterio would be a good one, or maybe the Miz. Just to add something else to it?

A Four man Money in the Bank. This will be terrible. I want Jericho to win, and take his Money in the Bank on tour with him. Have him return and win the WWE championship, from no-where. A HUGE face turn, or a major heel run, depending on who the champion is he cashes in on. Can't you imagine Jericho returning out of no-where to cash in on CM Punk?

Please, why oh why is nobody else joining this match? I hope to god for a surprise entrant or two.....it just needs more for a MITB match.

My pick for this match is Cena, as much as it pains me to say it.
Cena = Ratings, and with Raw1000 coming up, WWE want as many excuses as possible to tune in....and Cena holding the Briefcase....or even cashing it in at MITB and becoming champion....would Boost RAW1000 ratings by a margin atleast. (just please dont let it happen)

On another note, the John Cena related MITB match will certainly be the last match on the card since Cena is the main event. If the Punk - Bryan match is last on the card....we will all know Cena is cashing in.

Excuse my bitterness, but I am right and you all know it.

I just wish the Miz would enter the match, and win. I think him or Jericho would be the best option because it would either boost The Miz into a new star, hopefully, or It would get Jericho to put over younger talent, CM Punk or Daniel Bryan, to put them onto a new level?

But we know Cena will win. And
If the Punk - Bryan match is last on the card....we will all know Cena is cashing in.
is unfortunately true. Damnit.

I'm pulling for John Cena because come Night of Champions here in Boston Cena might set that date as his title opportunity just like RVD did with Cena at One Night Stand. If CM Punk wins, then it could like a rematch of last year's MITB except with the home crowd behind Cena.

I think they need to add at least one more person. You have Cena who can't do much in the ring, Big Show who is a big man who also not the best big man, Kane who is a very skilled big man but will most likely battle the Big Show and then do another horrible chokeslam, and Jericho who is good in the ring but he has no one really work meaning he will carry it. YOu bring Rey or Miz and this match is better

I'm stuck between Jericho and Cena here, I keep hearing people say it's either Show or Cena but I really don't see Big Show winning here. Jericho has been ice cold since his return in January and this may be the time for all that losing to come to an end, or it may keep on rolling. If that happened Cena would still have completed his goal in keeping the giant from winning but really the more I think about it I can't see Jericho winning this and cashing in on Punk. So I say Cena wins and announces his cash in for summer slam or night of champions and then loses to Punk, making history as the first to fail his cash in.

There's no doubt in my mind that Cena comes out victorious in this one especially with the Rock coming back on the 1000 episode of RAW to talk about his title match I think Cena will come out during that segment and tell the Rock he'll cash in the briefcase at Summerslam or something so he can be the champion come time for the Rock to challenge for the title although I'm sure Cena being the huge babyface he is will warn the champ in advance of when he'll cash it in ala RVD.

I actually made a video talking about this match and going into detail with my prediction on this one

I would have liked to see one more person in the WWE Title Money in the Bank ladder match as well, but it is what it is

Jericho winning and going on tour would be kinda cool, but IMO too similar to the whole Punk leaving the WWE while still champ, and Jericho's current run while back hasn't been so strong, so I see him winning MITB a long shoot.

as Kane, if he wins MITB and Punk retains vs Bryan .... we've already seen Kane feuding with Punk. Regarding Big Show .. his whole monster wrecking havoc on the WWE has gotten old, and while winning MITB would only strengthen it, I just don't see Show as able to incapacitate the other three participants long enough to be able to climb up the ladder and grab the contract

SummerSlam is coming up next month and the WWE needs another big match to go with Triple H vs Lesnar

which is why I see John Cena winning the MITB because he's not only a big draw but the WWE poster boy and a very SAFE choice

not to mention John Cena vs CM Punk @ Summerslam is a big time rematch

"I say Cena wins and announces his cash in for summer slam or night of champions and then loses to Punk, making history as the first to fail his cash in."

Hopefully the WWE goes that route .. because if we can sit through the inevitability of Cena likely winning MITB, lets swerve the fans by having Cena fail at cashing in.

From Wrestlezone.com:
WZ has learned from sources that WWE is going into this weekend with the strong possibility of adding at least one more person to the WWE Championship Money in the Bank match.

Both Rey Mysterio and The Miz have been talked about as possibilities. Another possibility that's been brought up is if Sheamus were to lose earlier in the night to Alberto Del Rio, he would then enter the Money in the Bank ladder match later in the night.

As of now it seems Mysterio is the leading candidate for names to be added to the match, if any.

I think that this would be a great way to return Rey Mysterio considering that creative was planning on penciling him in for a return next week anyway. I'd also rather have a man thats been out for almost a year return on Pay-Per-View than free Television.

Thoughts?

How will the extra variable of Rey Mysterio change the intensity of the Money In The Bank match?

If not Mysterio, then would you rather see Sheamus(Considering he loses) Or Miz in the match?

I am disappointed in WWE. Why would they only have FOUR people in this match? Do they really think this will draw PPB purchases? Sure if more are added it will be a nice surprise, but those who see this and become less interested will be more likely to buy it if more names are added. I hope guys like Rey and Miz are added so we can have at least 6 people. :banghead:

Kane already won in 2010 so I doubt he wins again. Big Show is beyond boring right now so I hope he doesn't, plus he doesn't need the win. Then again nobody in this match truly does. I'd say Big Show needs it the least though with the way he has been booked lately. Jericho sure doesn't need it, he's just in there to make the match more interesting. If Rey gets added I don't see him winning it either. Miz is a MAYBE. He already won in 2010 and could be believable in getting re-entered into the WWE Championship scene without another cash-in. Same goes for anyone in the match, except Cena. Yes the man has achieved everything he possibly can in WWE. Or has he? He has never won MITB before and it could help set up the feud with Punk for Summerslam with their roles reversed, and he could cash-in fair like RVD did years ago.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
John Cena will win the WWE Championship Money In the Bank briefcase.

I think Big Show will win the money in the bank. They have been building so much about Cena winning the money in the bank match that I don't think he will win, and Big Show winning it will help him.

cena wins and challenges Undertaker at WM, that's my prediction. cena will say he has done it all, won all the belts but champions come and go but being the person to stop UT's streak is forever

I'd like to see WWE have Jericho win in a unique fashion.

Big Show and Jericho are on the ladder, John Cena comes in and trys to know over the ladder but it's to heavy for him so he just holds big show from being able to climb anymore and is just yelling at Jericho to get the case. Jericho grabs the case and wins Big show is furious, finally gets Cena off of him lays Jericho out with the WMD from the top and then hits it on John Cena.

I don't care that's it's only four people in this MITB, ya know why? Because, at least they aren't bullshitting anyone about "Chances" or "odds of winning". So what there aren't 2-4 other guys that we all know have NO shot at winning it, who cares? We've got 4 guys in here who all have a strong chance of winning the match, and I'd rather have quality over quantity.

This match might as well be Cena on his own doing stunts with ladders, only to eventually climb one to end the match because that's the only outcome here, and I hate it. Not because it's Cena (weellll maybe a little bit) but because I know who is going to win because it's Cena. It just ruins it for me every time, because you know he isn't going to lose this match.

I'd like to see Jericho win it personally. I'd like him to win it and hold it for a while, enjoying the power it provides him. I don't see any reason for Big Show or Kane to win it, and I don't see any reason for Cena to actually win it considering the 1000th episode of Raw is coming up, and something could come into fruition for him out of that. He doesn't need the title, nor does he need the MITB briefcase. Jericho on the other hand has lost repeatedly since returning and it would help him quite a bit to finally come out victorious in something and put a major wrinkle in the title picture. Maybe instead of the predicted Cena-Punk feud going into SummerSlam, we get Jericho-Punk going into SummerSlam, or better yet, Jericho wins the MITB, Punk successfully defends against Bryan, then Jericho cashes in on Punk to win the WWE Title TONGIHT! That's my pick for what should go down.
