WWE Hell in a Cell: Aftermath & Discussion

I'm late on this, but I won't get too long winded with my points:

Sheamus v. Christian - fun match, not quite what I was hoping for, but I enjoyed it.

Sin Cara x 2 - I think they dropped the ball with this one, could've been epic and showed promise, but they just never really hit a rhythm in the ring.

Air Boom v. Swaggler - meh. I'm not impressed with either pairing so that colors my view of the match. Solid match, good work being done, just not interested that much in this feud personally.

Henry v. Orton - good match, showed alot of power from Henry, Orton looked like he was in a legitimate fight for a good portion of the match.

Cody v. Morrison - just seemed thrown in there ya know? Good match and all, but hard to really get excited for it.

Beth v. Kelly - great heel match for the win. Honestly, who thinks Kelly should be able to mount any kind of credible offense against either Beth or Natalya? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone? Blech.

Triple Threat - Great match, much better than expected and honestly I was so happy to see Cena cheated out of the ending. You know if he was in that cage, he was going home with the gold. And to what end? He doesn't NEED the title on him right now. They're doing it right with Del Rio carrying the belt but they need to keep Cena away from him right now. Let Del Rio build a little credibility with it first, have him wrong Cena in some way to start a feud that's not based on "rental cars". Christ.

Overall I enjoyed it and felt it was work 75% of the fee I paid to view it.

Sin cara vs Sin Cara fucking sucked a huge fat AIDS infested dick. Seriously, one of the worst matches I've ever seen on PPV. I don't give a fuck how "hard" they tried. They shit on the whole show. It looked fake and really killed the audience. this is why MOVEZ don't get you over.

That out of the way.

Sheamus vs Christian was good. Perfect length, did what it was supposed to do.

Tag title match also really good. Everyone involved is a pro and knows how to work a match and their character. Ziggler and Bourne especially. Perfectly booked too.

Henry vs Orton was really outstanding. exactly how a big monster vs a despirate babyface should be. The finish was beautiful. They build up the RKO as the one move Orton can win with but had never hit in a match before, he hits it, and Henry kicks out, then Orton has a great expression on his face, goes for his KO punt and Henry counters for the win. The post match booking added an element to Henry, which is just like any bully, if you just hit them back they are often sissies deep down. Plus it kept Orton looking strong so whoever he feuds with next looks even stronger being with him.

Cody vs Morrison Jesus H Christ how good is Rhodes? He carries a character in promos, when changing emotion, and when in a match in street clothes wearing 600 dollar shoes. Carries Morrison (because Morrison is just a vehicle, he doesn't actually do anything other than flips and has to be led for them to make any damn sense) to a really fun match. Loved Coles commentary too.

Beth vs Kelly, I REALLY fuckin hate Kelly. She hasn't been improving, beth has just been getting better at leading her worthless ass (lack of ass I should say). Kelly just kind of screams and does really shitty looking offense. I love that Beth cried afterwards and I also LOVED that the crowd counted "1..2..3". Beth Phoenix can have a good match with a broom because she literally has good matches with a broom.

Triple Threat was awesome. Perfectly wrestled and perfectly booked.

I loved the chaotic aftermath. The visual of Truth and Miz raising hell in the cage while all the wrestlers tried to break in was amazing.

Really good show overall.

Not really sure if I've seen a good Hell in a Cell since the first two. Mankind v. Undertaker still #1 by far... but really not much of a match
What you really mean to say is "I love stuntfests and don't give a shit about story". Because Brock vs Undertaker was fuckin amazing and probably better than Mankind vs Taker and maybe better than HBK vs Taker.
