WWE Hell In A Cell 2013: WWE Divas Championship - AJ Lee (c) VS Brie Bella

Along with a couple of other bouts, it was announced that Brie Bella will get another shot at the Divas Title at HIAC due to her pinfall victory over AJ this past Friday on SmackDown!.

Last night on Raw, AJ & Tamina lost a tag team bout against The Bella Twins with AJ getting pinned again by Brie. Unless WWE has simply lost all interest in Tamina playing the role of AJ's bodyguard, booking 101 suggests that AJ retains at HIAC. It's usually the case when you see a champ drop a match clean, let alone two matches in the span of a week, to his/her opponent only days before defending his/her championship against said opponent.

However, at the same time, I'm not really certain with any real degree of conviction who walks out with the strap this Sunday. On one hand, given that the Total Divas reality show has been a hit and they're using it as fuel for storylines in the Divas Division, that Nikki & Brie are said to have a lot of power backstage and that Brie is engaged to arguably the most over babyface on the roster right now; you'd think that they'd want Brie to wind up winning the Divas Championship to eventually be shown in the season finale of Total Divas. On the other, as I alluded to, the heel champ jobbing cleanly only days before a title defense usually indicates the champ retains.

Brie, is that the Bryan or the Cena one?

Twins freak me out and for that reason alone I want A.J. to retain. Jake Fact #565 my girlfriend is a twin. The other one is hideous and as a result I'll be dumping my girlfriend soon because I hate it that much. How does this relate to wrestling? It doesn't. It's just a personal touch from me.

Remember when A.J. & Kaitlyn had a women's match that was worth watching? Those where the days, weren't they.

I can't stand the Bellas, hopefully AJ wins this and moves on to someone more interesting than Brie. I could see Brie winning and briefly being champion along with Bryan, but I hope not, her and her sister are just dead air.

This is one of those cases where WWE has decided what we want to see and that's what we're getting no matter how quiet the crowds are. The fans clearly do not care about Brie Bella and last night's silence during her hot tag segment are a good example of that. We've never really been given a reason to boo AJ and cheer for Brie. Brie sleeping with Bryan isn't enough to make us cheer for her. Shawn Michaels and HHH are best friends but that doesn't make us cheer for HHH or boo Michaels.

The whole thing comes down to one idea: if you like Total Divas, you support Brie but if you don't like Total Divas, you agree with AJ's shoot on the reality show from a few weeks ago. The problem with that is WWE is assuming all of the people that watch Raw watch Total Divas and love it, which simply isn't the case at all. Brie will win the title and I'm sure it'll be the feel good moment to end the first season of the show.

I think it's very possible that Brie Bella could win and that Daniel could win the titles in the same night seeing that total divas returns on november 17th so they could be trying to build some jealousy between the bellas with nikki being jealous with brie and daniel if they win the titles or if cena wins and brie and daniel lose brie and daniel could be jealous of nikki and cena on total divas possibly.

I don't think Brie Bella will win simply based of the old idea that momentum is all on her side she pinned AJ one on one on Smackdown then pinned her in the tag match on Raw. I expect AJ to win by hook or by crook. Also who really is there for AJ to feud with her and Kaitlyn happened a million times so I guess after the Bellas Natayla is the only one left.

It does seem like Brie Bella is being forced on us and if she won the title it would not surprise me. I am going with AJ though. She just got Tamina by here side, and I expect her to retain the title a few more times with Tamina's help.

I hate to say it, because I really have enjoyed AJ's reign as Divas Champion, but this will be the match where I take a break from watching the show to take my dogs for a walk or grab a snack. AJ won't be able to get a good match out of either Bella, so this is going to be the worst match of the night. Count on it. I feel bad for AJ, she deserves better. So does the belt honestly, the Divas Championship gets a lot of hate around here, and matches like this do NOT help it. I don't care if it's meant to help promote the divas show as I never plan on watching it. The Bellas suck and do not deserve title shots until they learn how to WRESTLE. AJ retains and hopefully moves on to a feud with Natalya or one of the other girls who can actually work a match.

Searching for something positive to say: A.J. has given the women's title the most credence it's had since the days of Trish Stratus.....which still isn't saying much, but....at least that works in her favor.

Working against her is that WWE apparently doesn't like keeping the diva belt around a person's waist for too long a time. They pass the trophy around so much that it's been reduced in value to almost nothing. Plus, A.J.'s recent in-ring vulnerability is a factor; her time as champ may be up. She won all her matches for quite awhile, but no more.

Still, I've liked A.J. as a heel champion and if they can find someone a little more exciting than Tamina to work at her side, I can see Ms. Lee continuing.

A welcome element of uncertainty has been added recently by having A.J. and Brie exchange victories against one another, while their partners battle outside the ring, with the winner outside just happening to mirror the winner inside (sheer coincidence, I'm sure. )

I love that "whaddaya call it" submission hold by A.J. It really looks complicated and inescapable, though it probably isn't. At the same time, I can see Brie holding the title for awhile, especially if the reality series dictates she should.

If the Bella twins have gained enough clout to actually force Creative to alter storylines because of a reality show, I'll pick Brie to take the duke.

As much as I want to enjoy the Divas division right now, I just can't. There is absolutely nothing to like about Brie Bella, she isn't even the hottest of the Bellas. They have had some time to develop an angle, but they failed miserably and WWE tried to give Brie some victories and clean ones over the champion but I'm pretty sure that nobody wants to see the championship change hands.

AJ Lee is so natural and so talented that pretty much everyone from the entire division feels out of place. I can't tell you how much more I would like to see Natalya in this position - specially watching the Total Divas where she's the only one who ain't a bitch. Being humble and fight to get where she is, now that I can get behind and her being one of the best workers in the roster is just a plus.

My prediction (or what I really want) is:
AJ Lee retains the WWE Divas Championship

WWE is obviously hoping for a feel good moment, if Brie wins the title. Yeah, I can't see that happening. Sorry, but AJ's pipe bombshell promo had too much truth behind it. The Bellas are talentless hacks, who continue to milk the "hot twins" stuff.

Although, knowing WWE, it wouldn't shock me if they threw the title on Brie to help promote that shitty reality show. I can see it now, Brie steps up to the challenge to defeat AJ after the big promo weeks ago, proving AJ wrong with the Divas Championship as proof. Makes perfect sense. Dethrone the top talent in your division to fuel a storyline on an atrocious reality show. Because you know, SO many people are buying into this face turn for The Bellas. God I hope Brie loses tonight.
