WWE Elimination Chamber LD - Who's Going to WrestleMania?

But he's still in his early 30's, so WWE has to get the best out of him now.

See this is why, I think he can not fight for the title just for 1 year, he's still young enough and isn't going anywhere. We all know the dude draws huge. With the big Rock announcement this is the year to not have him fighting for it. People are still gonna buy the ppv. Hell even if they put him in a tag-team match with Orton vs. New Nexus, I personally wanted to see him fight Taker this year. But we know what direction they're going with him (well supposedly). It doesn't really matter in the long run though because I'm still watching the PPV.

Don't get me wrong, I know he's the top guy, I fully expected him to win and face Miz at WM. Just would be nice to see someone else for 1 year. Cena still has plenty years left in him at being the top guy. Giving him a break for 1 year, would just be nice to see. Of course I know the dream match will not happen. That part was more a little sarcastic, I shoulda but that in italics.
OK, lets look at it this way.

Was Hulk Hogan ever a healthy scratch for the Main Event at Mania? No, he wasn't (he interfered in the Mania IV Main Event), and only once was he in the Main Event non-title (Sid/Hogan suck-fest at Mania VIII). Same thing applies to Cena, except he is willing to not go on last (not last at XXI, XXIV, XXV, XXVI).

Oh, and Cena'll get his year off from the title next year. Cena/Taker. No title needed.

Dudes!

ppv was kind of average I think. Edge v. Mastrio was the highlight of the night for me. I was hoping for a better swerve to finish things off. It's kind of a let down to have NOTHING the year after Shawn kicked Taker. But meh.

wait if Corre won the titles does this mean

bryan and bateman vs. corre at wrestlemania

GOD

DAMMIT

It's about damn time that Gabriel and Bryan wrestled. The two best pure wrestlers from the best NXT season never locked up as far as I know. 'twould be awesome to see two posterboys of their home countries indie circuit go head to head at last.

Bateman and Wendy can go fuck themselves. PJ Black vs Bryan Danielson ftw.

Yeah I know, like I said, just stop having him fight for the title for one year. I got no problems with him other than that. I know the top guy in the company gets the title shot, just be nice to see him not fighting for it for 1 year.

he can take a year off from the title eventually, but again, WHO does he fight? This year, there's no one for him to fight, which is why he's in the title match. Taker's busy with Triple H (reportedly), and Taker/HHH couldn't wait another year (if it's Streak/Career). Anyone else non-title would be an inferior mid-card match, not fitting of being Cena's opponent at Mania, and Cena belongs nowhere NEAR Money in the Bank. Hence why Cena's fighting Miz for the Championship.

Other then Taker, the only way Cena can be not in the title match at Mania is if they were to pull off the unlikely dream match with a legend (Rock/Austin) or go the McMahon (Vince, Shane if he returned, or even in the future Triple H McMahon) route.

Cena vs. Miz will give Miz and epic heel push, what better way to legitimize Miz as a massive heel than to have him go over Cena at the biggest show of the fucking year

Anybody who thinks this show was just average must have the most ridiculously high expectations ever

What was so awesome about it? There was about an hour's worth of time that I was bored to tears. And I had shrinkage when Big Show was announced as the replacement.

No Way Out/EC has been my favorite PPV every year since 2008...so yeah, I was expecting something more than I got.

Like when I replied to Mitch, I said Cena and Orton could've had a tag-team handicapped match vs. New Nexus. Yeah it's weak, but the whole Rock being there, is out drawing anything on the card anyway, thats why I said this is the year to do it.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Cena/Orton vs. New Nexus! Hell, man, That's a RAW Main Event, not a Mania match. And then what, Miz/Morrison goes on last? That's almost as funny as the handicap match.

And The Rock hosting the show doesn't have shit to do with who should be put where on the card. Rock is going to cut a promo, do a couple backstage skits, and MAYBE be a ref for the title match or something (I think that's a stretch, because unless he is boring and calls it down the middle, he'd be starting a feud that wouldn't be finished). Rock will indeed bring in buys, but you still need a solid Main Event, and Miz/Cena is a more then solid Main Event.

Miz/Cena doesn't quite pack the punch that Cena-HBK or Cena-HHH has. It's very much a Triple H v. Chris Jericho Mania X-8 kind of feel.

It doesn't matter though. Trips/Taker will go on last.

If HHH vs 'Taker actually occurs I will not only eat my hat, but I'll change my forum name to something of the effect of "Remix is ******ed"

Why wouldn't it happen?

It makes no sence on any level. Why would HHH be more concerned about 'Taker than the guy who put him on the injured list for a year? Why would 'Taker give a damn about HHH when he had nothing to do with his burial at the hands of Barrett and Kane? Why would HHH hold 'Taker responsible for HBK's retirement when he spent the entire buildup to the second match persuading Shawn NOT to take on 'Taker? Why would WWE announce this massive match with far less build than it deserves? Why give 'Taker the rub of retiring HHH when it would be far better off being given to (or indeed kept by) Sheamus or another young guy.

And after people ragged on you in the first few posts for this, I've come to the conclusion that this is some unfathomable form of super trolling

Strong start.

Why would HHH be more concerned about 'Taker than the guy who put him on the injured list for a year?

Bc Taker has a streak that no one has broken. Trips likes to be "THE GAME" and be the best in the business. You can't be considered the best if you can't beat Taker at Wrestlemania.

Who said he didn't?

He doesn't have to. He could just try to avenge Shawn's retirement.

Why would WWE announce this massive match with far less build than it deserves?

Because it's the best card they have right now. Even with The Rock coming back, there needs to be a larger than life match for Wrestlemania. This is the one they have...and it will produce good buyrates.

Why give 'Taker the rub of retiring HHH when it would be far better off being given to (or indeed kept by) Sheamus or another young guy.

Because giving Taker the rub will earn WWE a lot more money.

it's 6am, so sue me.

He tried and failed already.

Who said he didn't?

Well wouldn't he rather tell Hunter to shove it up his ass and challenge one of the guys he gives a shit about?

He doesn't have to. He could just try to avenge Shawn's retirement.

Wouldn't he prefer to avenge his own injury from Sheamus, rather than Shawn's retirement?

Oh I agree that it's the biggest match WWE has available, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen. Cena vs 'Taker would be huge as well, but that ain't happening either.

Because giving Taker the rub will earn WWE a lot more money.

True, but that's no garantee that it is what'll happen.

I'm a grammar Nazi.

So had Shawn.

You'll have to talk to Shawn's shrink about that. But hey, maybe it's Triple H's personal mission.

Wouldn't he prefer to avenge his own injury from Sheamus, rather than Shawn's retirement?

Um, not when you have friends, brah. It's called sticking up for your friends and putting their needs first.

This is like the last year it COULD happen. They need a big match. CQena-Taker can happen next year. Pretty simple.

True, but that's no garantee that it is what'll happen.

There's no guarantee of anything.

1: Were they talking about that? I thought they were talking about how I make my LDs, which I never never do like THIS!!!!!!!

2: If that is what they were talking about, I just didn't realise I guess. I just do it to show my excitement ok.

3: I've done it for almost every single LD ever since I started posting.
