WWE Council of War

Its actually a perfect shot to legitimize him, without necessarily having him win.

WWE isnt a big fan of that sort of thing though. Legitimizing people and getting them over, I mean.

Your cynicism pleases me. I'm quite sure they want to put him over, but I was getting pretty frustrated with what they were doing with him until recently. I'm not a slow build man, not at all, but I'm still going to point it out when they're doing it wrong.

The only reason im not a slow build guy is because WWE is so whimsical that the point and direction seems to get lost in the middle of it all.

the slower the build, the more time for them to fuck it up.

I don't see why they don't plan stuff out further in advance and then just stick to it. I still want to know which doofus decided putting Punk against Triple H was a good idea. You're going to take your fledgling superface and put him against the guy whose entrance theme is this? Go wear the dunce cap and sit in the corner. If that was their plan from the start, they let a genius plot out the beginning of Punk's push, then smacked him in the head with a baseball bat and asked him what the second part should be. Now it seems like we're on track again.

If there's any storyline that they had grand designs for and failed to deliver on, it's the Nexus one. Wade Barrett's going to tell us what the "higher purpose" was any week now. Any week now. Maybe he'll also give us a conclusion to the anonymous GM angle, who knows?

I was just thinking about that whole Nexus thing the other day. One of the biggest things to happen in WWE for the better part of the decade, and they just brutally, royally, bibcially fucked it up.

Higher Power?

Why did they bury Undertaker?

Fuck the entire thing, didnt even actually END, it just....Uh, wasnt there anymore one day. THAT is how the angle of the guys jumping Cena and Punk last June ended. It didnt. They just didnt exist anymore, like it never even happened.

Nexus? What the fuck was that? What do you mean? Never heard of it

I think when you've got a guy going out there and saying what he's doing is bigger than WWE contracts, bigger than the WWE Championship, bigger than John Cena, bigger than Vince McMahon, you've really got to have decided just what the fuck that is. Maybe they should have had Kane be the greater power. Shit, it's not great, but it's something.

Its utterly unfathomable that they set out with that entire thing, and had no endgame in mind. Cannot be fathomed that people who get paid that amount of money to do that for a living did not have an apex in mind for it.

Shit, it ALMOST wrote itself, besides the WWE not being able to connect the dots.

remember when CM Punk was doing all of that Jesus shit, and the stimata dots on his tape? Could have went the same way, but have revealed that Punk WAS the higher power all along, and using the stunts to prove it.

I know the memory of how that went remains fresh in your head, but if it was booked well, like the SES was, it could have been immense. Have it be a group that invades every brand and show, either join us, or be crushed by us.

a bit of a combination of SES and the Nexus. Without the whole lifestyle thing, just Punk being like a cult leader, and pulling off "miracles" here and there.

The only thing scarier than a crazy man with loyal followers is a crazy man with loyal followers who actually DOES seem to have more going on than meets the eye.

Wasted, so much wasted.

Can't say I am. Not even during his Andrew "Test" Martin days in TNA. He was better than Matt Morgan, sure, but who isn't?

Everybody be quiet and remain perfectly still. I'm going to try and attract NorCal back in.

That should do it.

Main event push of a former world champion. Odd that.

I'm actually thinking of buying TLC. I don't normally have the amount of money necessary to buy pay-per-views willy nilly, but my bank balance turned up in the post with more cash than I expected so I'm celebrating by dumping it down the drain by buying gifts for myself and people I know.

But the gift of giving makes you feel all fuzzy inside, and the right opposite of all that is Linda Hogan.

Jesus, just read that "The John Cena Brand" (take that for what it's worth), generated $106 million for the WWE in 2010. The WWE's total revenue was $477.7million. One guy worth almost a quarter of the company.

So in conclusion, Cena haters can fuck right off and that heel turn is never coming.

WCW. Such fuck ups.

Goldberg kicked out of THREE Hogan leg drops. Back when that fucking MATTERED, impossible to do.

Entirely no sold. The booking, the commentators, even the fucking CROWD because they were distracted.

Such fuck ups.

I wish badly the WWE had a deal going were you could put 30 matches on a DVD set (ten per disc) and pay something like 50$.

Money. So much money for them. These ideas I have, no idea why they never cash in on them.

But Nocal, they had Karl Malone! I mean, he's not a wrestler so every wrestling fan must want to see him right?

Yep. I made a thread on something similar to that once.
