WWE after WM 25

Hi all, I've never posted a fanatasy message before but I thought I might try it out right here. I'm a fan of writting the ending spots and building story as opposed to detailed match descriptions just so you know what you are getting into.

For this fed (current WWE) I hope to basically act like I've taken over the reigns of booking the WWE as of WM 25 (with a little speculation of the actual card of the upcoming show).

First off, here is my WM 25 card with results:

Wrestlemania 25 – April 2009

HBK vs The Undertaker

Results:
• In the first match of the evening, the two current Tag Team Championship duos faced off to determine who would be entering the WWE draft as the sole figureheads of the Tag Team division. After much back and forth and several aerial spots, including a breathtaking 450 splash from Morrison and a triple springboard moonsault from Carlito. The Colon Brothers finally bested The Miz and Morrison to cement their tag dominance but this is already a match of the night candidate reminisent of the original TLC.

• In a four way dance for the ECW title where disqualifications themselves are not allowed, Hardcore Legend Tommy Dreamer realizes his ultimate and unlikely goal by winning the ECW Title even though he needed all the help he could get. With Mark Henry neutralized from a viscous chair shot and Dreamer unconscious after a Power Bomb from Swagger, Christian nailed the Unprettier on the champ but instead of pinning him, draped Dreamer’s arm over the young “Blue-chipper” for the victory. The crowd erupted as tears filled Dreamers eyes but one has to wonder why Christian didn’t take this opportunity to win the title for himself.

• After costing Jeff the WWE Title, Matt Hardy is prepared for his younger brother’s full arsenal. The two clash and it is indeed Jeff who seals his brothers fate with a Swanton Bomb. The back and forth match was based off of Matt's constant attempts to gain his brothers sympathy only to betray him all over again. Following the match, Matt again attacks his brother brutally and leaves him lying in the ring after seemingly extending his hand in a gesture of attonement.

• In this year’s installment of the Money In The Bank gauntlet match for the number 1 contender shot at any title on any occasion, several highlights were witnessed. Rey Mysterio delivered a Hurricanranna off the top of a ladder on Shelton Benjamin who also found himself the victim of a chokeslam off of the ladder through a table on the outside of the ring. Evan Bourne made his return to the ring after an injury which included a huge Shooting Star Splash from the top of a ladder that was being held up higher than ever before by Kane and the Big Show. The absolute highpoint of the match was when all the remaining members of the match hosted one end of the ladder the Big Show was standing on and toppled the huge giant head over heels outside of the ring and through four stacked tables! Ultimately, as CM Punk reached for the briefcase for a second consecutive year and looked to have victory secured, Rhodes and Debiase of Priceless interfered by knocking off the “Straight Edge Superstar” and claiming the prize for themselves. No one is certain how the results of this match will be rewarded at this point.

• Like many before him, Chris Jericho fell to the two finger salute and a Stone Cold Stunner at the hands of the Legend, Steve Austin. Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat and the star of the movie “The Wrestler” Mickey Rourke came to the ring to support Austin and thwart Jericho during the match which resulted in the Legends celebrating in a classic and memorable Stone Cold Beer Bash as an angry Jericho skulked his way to the back.

• After receiving a brutal beating that resulted in massive blood loss, Edge pulled out a quick victory to retain the WWE title against John Cena. At the end of the match, Smackdown GM and wife of Edge, Vicky Guerrero, seemingly stopped the match due to her husband’s excessive blood loss. As she was preparing to hand Cena the title, Vicky announced that although Cena thinks he has won the title, she never stopped the match at all! Just then Edge nailed the fan favorite with a spear and Vicky promptly commanded the referee to count the three as the crowed pelted the ring with a chorus of boos. Cena shockingly still kicked out and looked unstoppable but Edge racked Cena's eyes when he was elevated for the FU and delivered a final spear for the win.

• Although several occurrences of interference by Cody Rhodes and Ted Debiase of Legacy, Randy Orton defeated Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title with a surprise RKO in the middle of the ring cleanly. This was an epic match with many near falls and could have gone either way at any point.

• In the main event of the evening, titles are not on the line but two of the most celebrated legends in wrestling history will square off for possibly the last time. Before the match, both JBL and Victor Kozlov attempted to force their way into this historic confrontation which draws major heat but the two Icons quickly laid waste to both hated advisories without even breaking a sweat. Once the match was underway, the Undertaker eventually defeated HBK after a long back and forth match when he countered a moonsault into a Tombstone.The crowd gave a standing ovation for two of the most decorated and celebrated Legends ever as they shake hands and fireworks explode overhead.

Here is the next evenings Raw:

April – Week 2 – Raw: Draft Night

• The show kicks off with highlights of Wrestlemania 25. Vince McMahon comes out and thanks the WWE Universe for their support for over 25 years and giving his family and every WWE performer a stage to perform. He then explains the details of how this year’s WWE draft will take place. Vince explains that he wants Raw, Smackdown and ECW to be different and unique from one another and that ultimately means he wants each brand to have its own “identity”. Vince explains that the WWE.com survey asking which wrestler best exemplifies each of the three brands has a historic purpose as it will determine the first three “WWE Icons”. An “Icon” will be a superstar that is a leader of the brand, a superstar that will always be considered when thinking of the brand and a superstar that carries the brand to new heights. The fans have spoken and the GMs of each brand will come out and introduce their first of two Icons as chosen by the WWE Universe.

• Vicky Guerrero comes out and reluctantly announces that the Undertaker was virtually uncontested in the online polls as Smackdown’s most symbolic superstar. A vignette plays highlighting the Deadman’s historic matches and feuds on Smackdown.

• Teddy Long comes out and reveals that the current ECW Champ was the resounding choice as their Icon as Tommy Dreamer comes out to a large ovation.

• Stephanie McMahon comes out and explains that she is very surprised to announce her number one highest voted Icon so she let the vignette do it for her. Smackdown’s Triple H is revealed as Raw’s newest Icon only a year after being drafted away through a video highlighting his many years as the number one heel and face on Raw. Triple H comes out and cuts a quick promo about being “home” and how “the Game is just getting started”.

• Big Show defeats Cody Rhodes while Randy Orton holds Ted Debiase back in the dressing room area. Backstage, Debiase is confronted by all the combatants of the Money in the Bank match so he grabs the case and runs to his car and leaves. The combatants then go to the ring and take turns destroying Rhodes along with Big Show in retribution for their heist at WM25.

• Vince Announces that the GMs of each brand will now pick their own Icon from the entire talent pool and from there, seven rounds of random picks will allot talent to each brand. Only the Icons will be exempt from the random draft.

• The Colons defeats Crime Time in a cross-brand Tag Match in a flashy, high impact match.

• The GMs come out to make their picks. Teddy Long announces Tazz as his Icon because he embodies ECW and provides a wealth of experience his young talent will need to survive the “hardcore” WWE Universe. Vicky announces Edge as the SD Icon (of course) as he is her husband and also the WWE Champion. Stephanie asks the audience as she can’t decide between HBK and Cena but she eventually chooses Michaels because he is Mr. Wrestlemania and so she can reunite DX one more time. The crowd pops huge for this announcement.

• The first 4 draft picks are announced with a tag match taken place between the two selections. Kofi from Raw and Christian from ECW are headed to Smackdown while Swagger from ECW and Shelton from Smackdown are going to Raw. Swagger finally gets revenge of Christian after delivering a cheap shot and a Power Bomb on the newest Smackdown star for the victory.

• In a one on one draftee match, JBL from Raw is headed to Smackdown and Chavo from Smackdown is headed to Raw. They face off and JBL gets the upper hand even though Chavo came very close to pulling off the upset.

• The following hardcore match will be contested between ECW’s two newest members. Dolph Ziggler comes out first looking confident until Umaga’s music plays. The squash match ends quickly as the “Samoan Bulldozer” makes short work of the youngster.

• In a one on one draftee match, Chris Jericho from Raw is now going to Smackdown and Evan Bourne From ECW is going to Raw. They face off in a high flying technical match with Jericho catching the newcomer in mid air with a code breaker for the win.

• In a “coming to Smackdown” match Mark Henry is drafted from ECW to be partners with Jeff Hardy which makes Matt laugh. The Miz is drafted as Matt’s partner. Matt Hardy defeats Jeff after Mark Henry drills his partner and storms off.

• Backstage, William Regal is shown badmouthing Manu and Sim Snuka to Layla for accidently spilling food on his bags when Finley and Hornswoggle begin to laugh while watching the monitor. Regal questions Finley about what is so funny and Finley explains that Regal “was just drafted to ECW... and so were they”. The two laugh as Regal looks upset only to realize the youngsters, Sim and Manu heard everything he said and look pretty mad.

• In a “welcome to Raw” match World Champion Randy Orton partners with John Morrison from ECW to take on CM Punk with the returning Mr. Kennedy from Smackdown. Orton wins with a surprise RKO on Kennedy.

• It is revealed that DH Smith and Kizarny have been drafted to ECW and will face off on Tuesday Night.

• In the main event, the Raw and Smackdown Icons will face off against each other with the final remaining draft pick completing the 6 man tag match. Undertaker and Edge come down for Smackdown while Triple H and HBK come down together but with Raw music playing. Stephanie and Vicky come out next and they flip a coin to see who draws the final name first. Steph wins and she reaches in to draw a name. When she opens the paper, she reveals a huge grin as she explains that the newest member of Raw is… Vicky Guerrero! Vicky and Edge both flip out but security forces Vicky down the ramp next to HBK and Triple H. Vince then explains that in the absence of a Smackdown GM, Steph can draw Smackdown’s last pick. Steph smiles and reaches in to draw a name but this time her smile fades quickly when she reads the name. “Smackdown... has drafted… John Cena”. The crowd erupts and Cena comes out to a large ovation. The match itself is basically DX vs Undertaker and Cena since Edge and Vicky don’t want any part of it. At one point both are unknowingly tagged in forced to face off only for Vicky to quickly lay down and Edge to get the cheap win. Following the match, a worried Edge consoles Vicky for seemingly the last time as DX and Cena mocks the torn apart couple.

April – Week 2 – ECW

• Newly inducted ECW Icon Tazz interviews new ECW Champ and co-Icon Tommy Dreamer who thanks the fans for always believing. Dolph Ziggler interrupts and claims that his draft to ECW was destiny so he wants to challenge Dreamer tonight for the title. Dreamer accepts but it is going to be Extreme Rules.

• DH Smith returns after a long hiatus from the WWE and defeats Kizarny in a breif match that reminds fans of his father.

• Tommy Dreamer is found beaten up backstage and surrounded by medical attendants

• Snuka & Manu defeat William Regal & DJ Gabriel when Regal abandons his partner. The second generation superstars are angry that they couldn't get their hands on the English Blueblood.
• Tyson Kidd defeats Paul Birchall in a back and forth contest that may be the darkhorse best match in the WWE Universe this week. They both show off their skills and both seem to have found respect for eachother after the match.
• Tommy Dreamer defeats Dolph after several kendo stick shots in less than one minute and grabs a mic. He claims that he knows who attacked him backstage and calls out Umaga who promptly comes down the ramp and lays waist to the ECW Legend even after withstanding a weapon shot to the head. Umaga poses over Dreamer to end the show.



April – Week 2 – Smackdown

• Show starts off with Cena cutting a promo. He explains that SD was where he started and he feels like he is home. Edge interrupts and explains the rules of “his house” as the Smackdown Icon and WWE Champion. Vince appears via satellite and explains that the search for SD’s new GM will not take weeks or months but rather he will conduct interviews this week and reveal the new authority figure next week. Vince explains that the main event of tonight will be Jeff Hardy vs Jericho and next week will be a Wrestlemania rematch between Edge and Cena! A protesting Edge asks about Vicky’s role on SD to which Vince declares, “she’s fired!” and the crowed pops again.

• Kofi Kingston defeats The Brian Kendrick with Ezekiel in a high energy match to open the show.

• The Miz is shown looking for a costume designer only to bump into the Undertaker and retreat in fear.

• The Big Show defeats The Great Khali when JBL interferes and drills Khali with a Clothesline from Hell. Big Show looks confused as JBL just smirks and walks to the back.

• Edge is shown in the back talking to Ryder & Hawkins. He explains that he needs them to help him take care of Cena before he starts to get too comfortable when the former “Edge-heads” stop the champ and explain that now with Vicky gone, Edge doesn’t have any pull around here and he doesn’t have any friends. They tell him to “have a good life” and walk away laughing while Edge looks shocked.

• MVP & the Colons defeat Hurricane Helms, Jessie and Festus.

• MVP bumps into Mark Henry talking to R-Truth backstage and asks if they caught his big win. Truth congratulates MVP but Henry mocks him and walks away after calling him “Hollywood”.

• Victor Kozlov squashes The Miz in a quick match

• Following the match, Kozlov grabs a mic and calls out the Undertaker for not accepting his Wrestlemania match. Christian comes out instead and mocks Kozlov’s Russian accent and boring personality. Kozlov challenges Christian to a match for next week. Undertaker interrupts on the tron and explains that win or lose: Kozlov’s time is coming and he will rest in piece.

• Jericho comes out for the main event and cuts a promo about being 2008 superstar of the year and taking over SD. Jeff Hardy defeats Jericho by DQ when Matt Hardy interferes and drills Jeff with a chair. Cena brakes up Jericho and Matt’s beat down on Jeff which prompts Edge to run in and an all out brawl occurs as the show goes off the air as officials try to break up the melee.

it seems like it could happen like that. i would've had a few diffferent talent moves but most of them were similar to my ideas. the best part was the raw main event with dx vs cena and undertaker

Tag team unification: Colons beat miz and morrison. (morrison turns on miz after the match)

* now the rest of the draft i have following the format of the very first one in 2002. smackdown picks, then raw, except ecw gets 2 picks for every five picks between raw and smackdown that they have to draw from the lotto machine. so far smackdown has drafter undertaker, raw has drafter triple h, and ecw has drafter tommy dreamer.

smackdown now is picking in the second round. vicky chooses world heaveyweight champion edge.

raws turn. since smackdown has a world champion, steph chooses randy orton to bring the wwe title to raw.

*vince comes out and says that there will be a diva tag match between all raw nad smackdown divas besides the champions. the team that wins will get there choice of which brand to go on. the losing team will be drafted between the shows. smackdown wins! michelle mcool chooses raw. maria chooses smackdown. the only divas who really moved are kelly kelly to smcakdown, and mcool to raw.

ecw picks some more.

*there is a champion vs champion match with the winner getting 3 picks. orton vs edge. orton wins and raw picks finlay, evan bourne, and kane

smackdown picks charlie haas, shelton benjamin, and eziekel jackson.

ecw is up for their final pick. it is ROB VAN DAM! he comes out to an explosive crowd!

* vinces comes out and says there will be an ecw vs raw match with the winner getting to pick someone off of the other show. its rob van dam vs kane. kane wins so raw picks rob van dam to bring him to monday nights!

smackdown picks eziekel jackson.

the main event is dx vs john cena and undertaker with each brands final pick revealed. raws pick as they draft vicky geurro! edge and vicky go crazy and smackdown is without a GM. smackdowns turn now as steph draws a name for them and its Theadore Long! theodore long comes out to a big pop and watches from ringside as it is a great match with lots of back and forth action until edge interferes causing a dq. he gets on a mic and demands to be traded to raw and is met with an f-u from cena. then triple h hits a pedigee while michaels hits sweet chin music. vicky comes in for the save and is met with a tombstone from the undertaker! raw goes off the air with teddy long celebrating ni the ring with undertaker and john cena.

smackdown april week 2

cena opens up with a promo about smackdown feeling like home. edge interrupts and complains about vicky being gone. cena challenges him to a title match that night and edge refuses. edge says since he was married to the former gm, he now has all of the authoirty on smackdown and suddenly vince mcmahons music hits and he comes out! he says that smackdown will be without a GM much longer as he has aperfect man for the job - teddy long! the crowd pops like crazy. teddy announces that there will be a fatal four way next week to determine edges opponent for backlash between Cena, jericho, jeff hardy, and undertaker. as for tonight edge will fight the big show. he also announces jeff hardy vs jericho for tonight.

jbl comes out to the ring to cut a promo before his match against JTG. he talks about how happy he is to be on smackdown, the place where he had his historic title reign and how he promises to have another. he says this very deviously. quick match with JTG with jbl getting the pin.

Edge is shown in the back talking to Ryder & Hawkins. He explains that he needs them to help him take care of Cena before he starts to get too comfortable when the former “Edge-heads” stop the champ and explain that now with Vicky gone, Edge doesn’t have any pull around here and he doesn’t have any friends. next match is a tag team with ryder and hawkins taking on the brian kendrick and big zeke. hawkins and ryder win and after the match kendrick yells at zeke until zeke totally kicks his ass and walks away to the back


jeff hardy vs jericho. good match. until matt hardy comes in and intereferes causing the DQ.

the main event with edge vs big show and john cena doing commentary. deccent match with back and forth action until edge walks off and gets counted out. as he heads up the ramp he gets attacked by hawkins and ryder! they fight him down to ringside where the big show sets him up in the ring for a showstopper. hawkins and ryder go to the back while cena and show stare each other down as smackdown goes off air.

smackdown april week 3

show opens with big show in the ring. he demands to be number one contender after beating edges ass last week and for all he's been through on smackdown with vicky. teddy comes out and agrees and says the winner of tonights fatal four way will face big show and edge in a triple threat match at backlash. big show walks away smiling.

first match is jack swagger taking on kofi kingston. swagger wins.

ryder and hawkins are being interviewed in the back about there actions with edge last week when shelton benjamin walks up and disses them. they call him washed up since losing the US title and they challenge him to a tag match with a partner of his choice.


cm punk comes out and says in celebration of his first time on smackdown, he is issuing an open challenge for the IC title. matt hardy comes out. good long match with cm punk hitting the go to sleep.

jbl storms into teddys office and demands a title shot after not being in tonights main event. theodore says he will throw something togther for backlash.

ryder and hawkins come out. shelton benjamin comes out with a smile on his face as charlie haas returns to smackdown as his partner! worlds greatest tag team defeats hawkins and ryder.

after the match JBL is seen in the back congratulating haas and benjamin and says he has a business propsal for them.

main event undertaker vs jeff vs jericho vs cena. cena gets the win after an F-U on jericho. backlash will be edge vs big show vs cena for the world heavyweight title.
