WWE: Transitioning Era’s

Opening Statements: This is designed to be a modern-day based Book This! Thread. It will begin with a summary of WWE: Money In The Bank and transition into Monday Night Raw. Many events will remain identical but some major events will shift drastically. I plan to keep a similar storyline to what has been going on with my first show but expect a fun and major twist in both the Money In The Bank PPV and Monday Night Raw. I hope everyone enjoys and pours in their thoughts and support. Also if anyone is good with graphic design and finds my thread something they would like to invest in please let me know as I am in desperate need of a skilled graphical manager. Thank You and Enjoy everyone.

World Wrestling Entertainment: Money In The Bank

Raw Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Alberto Del Río vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Alex Riley vs. Evan Bourne vs. The Miz vs. R-Truth vs. Jack Swagger

All eight men entered the match armed with a ladder and all hell broke lose. A beat down proceeded upon “The Mexican Aristocrat” Del Rio and then every man battled for himself. A dark cloud fell over The Miz as he was forced to be taken to the back with what appeared to be a serious lower leg injury. As the match continued Rey Mysterio and Evan Bourne both showcased their individual talents of high flying and daredevil hearts with Rey Mysterio airing it out for a monster leg drop on Del Rio and Evan Bourne hitting his own variation of the RVD signature Rolling Thunder to the pleasure of the fans on Jack Swagger. As everyone was down outside the ring, to the shock of everyone, The Miz limped his way down to the ring pushing off medical personnel who begged him not to go down to the ring. As he slid into the ring and climbed the ladder the crowd erupted into surprised cheers as The Miz neared the top and went for a two-peat of winning the MITB Contract. But from the blind spot of The Miz, Jack Swagger snuck up and locked in an ankle lock around the ladder on the injured ankle of The Miz as he screamed in pain. With the distraction served, the underdog of the entire event, Rey Mysterio made his way to the top of the ladder to retrieve the prize but was met with a massive cross body from Kofi Kingston, taking them both out of the match as the one man no one thought could win this match, Evan Bourne, climbed the ladder and to the shock of everyone in that Chicago crowd retrieved the briefcase winning his first ever MITB Ladder Match.

Winner: Evan Bourne

WWE Women’s Championship

Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella

In your typical diva’s match Kelly Kelly defended her title against one half of the Bella Twins, Brie. After a short catfight skirmish Kelly Kelly hit the K2 for the pin and the finish retaining her Women’s Championship.

Winner: Kelly Kelly

Mark Henry vs. The Big Show

In the largest match of the evening, at least in size, the “World’s Strongest Man: collided with “The World’s Largest Athlete” in a match focused on proving ones self and evening the score. After weeks of being hassled and attacked by Mark Henry, The Big Show decided enough is enough. Both men started the match off swinging and battling for an advantage. Eventually it was the smaller Mark Henry who took over with some clotheslines and running body smashes. But soon Big Show fired back with a bodyslam to the surprise of the crowd and a huge leg drop. But after evading a choke slam attempt by Big Show, Mark Henry countered with a chop block followed by a Big Splash for the pin fall and victory. Afterwards, Henry went to get a chair and came back into the ring with the intent of inflicting further damage to Big Show but Big Show countered with a boot to the face with the chair sending Mark Henry sprawling from the ring and headed to the back embarrassed but none the less the victor as Big Show steamed in the ring with frustration.

Winner: Mark Henry

SmackDown! Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Sin Cara vs. Heath Slater vs. Kane

Eight of SmackDown’s most gifted Superstars entered The Windy City’s Allstate Arena tonight with aspirations of snagging the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase and claiming a guaranteed World Title Match contract good at any time, any place over the next year. They brutalized each other for the opportunity, driving steel into flesh and bone onto concrete, but, in the end, a tenacious Daniel Bryan was the man who walked away — just barely — with the future in the palm of his hands.
Bryan’s journey to the top of the ladder was a harrowing one for the young Superstar. Plagued by monsters like Kane, rogues like Wade Barrett, Sheamus and Cody Rhodes and daredevils like Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater and Sin Cara, the submission specialist repeatedly came within a fingertip of snatching the elusive briefcase only to be smashed from the top of the ladder again and again. Still, no matter how many times he was knocked down, Bryan got up and kept on climbing.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

World Heavyweight Championship Match

Randy Orton vs. Christian

In perhaps the most interesting fight of the evening Christian captured the World Heavyweight Championship not by brawn but by brains. Before this bout, Christian forced Randy Orton to sign an agreement that if Orton was disqualified in the match then he would also lose the Championship. All it took was a glob of saliva and a little bit of air and the cocky Apex Predator of the WWE lost control. After Christian spat in his face Orton lost complete control ruthlessly attacking Christian and forcing the referee to DQ Orton granting Christian the victory and making him the new World Heavyweight Champion. But to make sure everything was even, Orton added insult to injury on Christian by delivering not one but two RKO’s on the announcers table before walking away glaring and sputtering.

Winner and NEW WWE Heavyweight Champion: Christian

WWE Championship Match

John Cena vs. CM Punk

In the most critical main event championship match in recent history, CM Punk challenged John Cena to one final match in CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago at Money In The Bank. With all the news and publicity of CM Punk’s contract and inability of the WWE to resign him it was a colossal main event. Both competitors for their own separate reason had agreed to lay it all out and let the best man win. After a fierce match and both competitors exhausted CM Punk countered an attempted Attitude Adjustment into a GTS but “Superman” John Cena countered that into an STF trapping CM Punk in the center of the ring. After a few seconds the ring bell was rung and the announcer’s voice was heard, “Ladies and Gentlemen the winner by submission and STILL the WWE Champion, John Cena!” Both John Cena and CM Punk stood in the ring with confused looks on their face as Vince McMahon walked onto the stage a smile on his face and slowly tapping his brain in a “look who’s the smart one now” motion directly at CM Punk as John Cena took the WWE Title and slowly started walking back up the stage head down looking partially embarrassed and partially angered. As he reached the top of the stage Vince McMahon reached out his hand and patted John Cena on the back and visibly said “Good Boy,” directed to John Cena. Suddenly John Cana’s head snapped up squeezing Vince’s hang in a vice-like grip and staring out at the booing crowd before spitting what looked like an expletive at Mr. McMahon and hitting him with a monster Attitude Adjustment before walking to the back ending the show.

Winner: John Cena

Please leave your feedback and ideas and comments. I look forward to seeing it. Thank you so much for reading. I am going to be gone for a couple weeks but I will have RAW up as soon as possible once I return. Thanks.
