Savio Vega and Mikey Whipwreck are pretty damn random but I was hoping for some fresh faces in the game so I'll take it. I think I may use Stunning Steve Austin in my universe and reunite him with Brian Pillman for The Hollywood Blondes over using the Texas Rattlesnake version.

Savio and Whipwreck are definitely in for the Austin storyline that you'll be able to play. Considering the Nation is also in there, Savio may be in there for the "Gang Wars", but I don't recall any DOA members included.

Pillman's inclusion is guaranteed to be a part of Stone Cold's story, because I doubt Vince would ever allow his name attached to anything, unless Austin pushed for it.

He may have been. Honestly, this is the first WWE game I'll be playing in a few years. I just know Pillman's death is a sore spot in wrestling history.

Eddie will be there, probably as a DLC pack. With them including so many people from the past, they may do a Radicalz DLC, which would actually be pretty cool.

Would be nice if the NXT DLC Pack were bound to get has Charlotte, Becky, Sasha, Bayley, Joe, Bliss, Blake and Murphy. Probably too much to ask for in a pack but I can hope right?

Pillman was in '13. I actually still play that one.

I'm also setting Stone Cold to inactive and using Stunning Steve. We get Stone Cold every year so it will be a nice change of pace.

My biggest hope with the DLC is that it doesn't take up as much space as it did with '15.

While I hope for some cool people in the DLC the issue of space taken up is a bigger deal to me.

Also if it came off like I was complaining on Monday about the roster I definitely wasn't intending to. Just a little perplexed at the two Stephanie and two "crow" style Sting models. Overall I'm very pleased with the roster.

I haven't seen any info on changes to Universe mode so that will be my next priority in terms of looking out for something.

I'm not displeased with the roster either. But, having been burnt by Mortal Kombat and Injustice over roster size, it chaps my ass a little that they advertise 120+ unique wrestlers, and some of that 120 are "unique" only by having different skins.

Don't get me wrong; on the list of reasons why this game will disappoint, this is fairly low. But I bet there will be some who are legitimately going to be upset about this.

They haven't contributed much to WWE, but they have contributed to NXT, which it seems like 2K is implementing (it's about the only reason Baron Corbin and Enzo and Cass would be in). So clearly, there was some thought to include NXT into the game.

And you wouldn't include the actual women's division, or for that matter, the same people WWE trot out for the Diva's Revolution...why?

This news is just bullshit honestly. They have a handful of top NXT people and don't include the four horsewomen? You know the 4 divas who have carried NXT's division for over a year. I'll still be buying the game but there is no good reason NOT to include them.

And ps4 doesn't allow custom music so not like I can just get creations of them and have their music. Ugh.

I seem to remember seeing something about that option got taken out of the games for Xbox One since PS4 doesn't have it but I could be wrong. Either way I'm not picking up an Xbox One just for custom themes.

Also why they couldn't put them in over Eva, the 2nd Steph, Layla and one of the THREE versions of Big Show or Sting I don't know. For anybody who picked up WWE2K15, does the face scan technology lead to better CAW's out there for download?

I absolutely loved 2K14. It's still one of the best games I've ever played. I do have a question about 2K16.

I absolutely loved 2K14. It's still one of the best games I've ever played. I do have a question about 2K16.

What improvements has WWE 2K16 made over WWE 2K14?

The new submission system.
At least if you aren't a fan of button mashing.

If you aren't a fan of reversal battles then you'll like the new start with three reversals feature that makes you pick your spots on where you want to use them. If you use one you have to recharge it during the match like you do with a finisher. A finisher reversal takes up two reversals so if your opponent has a finisher you'll want to store two reversals. If you don't like that concept then the game will probably annoy you.

There's going to be at least one more release of information through IGN but I don't know what all it's going to entail.


As far as the four NXT women not being in as DLC. I'm slightly disappointed. Not sure how no NXT women's wrestlers are going to be in. At least three of them are popular. And we're two short of being able to do an all women's show in Universe mode without using CAWs which I was hoping for. There's next year though.

This roster is still a kick-ass roster.
