WWE 2013: A Changing of the Guard presented by Theo and Peep

In a shocking turn of events on an unusually cold and dreary Monday morning in Connecticut, it was announced that Triple H will replace Vincent Kennedy McMahon as the new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the WWE.

While the superstars of the WWE were wowing the world with their performances within the ring at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, an even more intense battle was being waged backstage. There had been several reports of a power struggle over the past couple of months between Vince McMahon and his son-in-law, Triple H. The feud had even spilled over to live television as they confronted one another on Monday Night RAW on a couple of occasions, with both men putting forth their case as to why they should lead the WWE into the future.

However, as Money in the Bank faded to black, it seems as though the Board of Directors finally sided with Triple H. On that next morning, it was Triple H himself, looking like he had barely slept a wink, who called a press conference to not only announce his promotion, but outline some of the changes he intended to apply to the WWE immediately. Firstly, he bluntly stated that the he was renewing the brand split once again, and in an effort to make RAW and Smackdown equal, both shows would run for two hours each.

As well as intending to place more focus on the Divas, the tag team division and the developmental territory of NXT, Triple H promised that things would “finally be run right for the first time in a long, long time.” While he wasn't going to make any "groundbreaking" changes at first, Triple H boldly stated that with himself at the helm, the WWE will be better than it has ever been. After outlining a few more of his intended plans, Triple H refused to answer any questions and left the conference in a hurry after quickly stating that the brand new WWE rosters would be released in just a couple of hours. Not once did he even mention his father-in-law. And just like that, Triple H was on his way and a new era in the WWE had officially begun.

Do my eyes deceive me? Another Peep and Theo BT? WOW! Glad to see this fellas. Your last partnership was really good and this is a good starting point. It's absolutely something to look forward to. No wonder Peep didn't want to spoil what he was doing. Also, will both of you post here instead of having separate threads like last time? I hope that's the case.

The BT revival is certainly on and I can't wait.

That was a really good backstory to start the thread off as it was realistic. Glad that the brand split is back and that both shows are once again two hours long. Nice rosters as well. I like how you have got some big names on each like RAW has Cena, D-Bry and Randy Orton where as Smackdown as Punk, Ziggler and Jericho. Good luck with this guys.
