Wrestlers Talking To Each Other During A Match - More Visible Lately?

I think there's many reasons why it's a lot easier to see wrestlers talking to one another in the ring. One reason is because of the length of wrestler's hair these days, a few years ago most wrestlers had long hair, so all you had to do was cover your face with your hair while you was talking to your opponent. But nowadays alot wrestlers have short hair so they can't use that strategy any more. Another reason is because WWE TV is in HD, this means the program is much clearer so obviously the wrestlers talking is going to be much clearer.

Yea it is.... You see them talk more when they are in headlocks. The Other Week Cena CLEARLY told Miz, "Bulldog" like right in front of the camera. Then right away Cena bounced off the ropes or turnbuckle and gave him one. Just to answer the thread, Yes it is.

yeah, it's called "Calling spots". WIth HD, it's easy to tell that they(wrestlers) actually talking to each other during the match. And like smeone already jericho is terrible on covering that up, you can hear clearly what he said in the ring, hhh and angle also falls in that category. But guys like taker, HBK, and austin, are very skilled to notice them calling spots.

This is really a non issue to me. Considering the HDTVs and the size of them that most people have these days you are bound to see a few mishaps here and there but overall I think this current group of wrestlers do pretty good with it.

I am a cena hater but he is pretty good at hiding his stuff too. However when he was dealing with Nexus early on you could see him aiding some of the younger guys more than you see Cena vs. Punk.

Not really an issue for me. Next thing you are gonna tell me is that the results of the matches are pre determined. With all the close angles and camera shots they have nowadays, you can't hide everything.

im not sure if anyone has really hit on the fact that the mics on the cams above and below the ring are way better now. back in the 80s when half of us were coming up the mics were not as good and not as many. also with HD tv you are able to see more of what is going on without being right in front of your tv. so spot calling is allot simplier to spot.

I havent seen it so recently. I think the only time I noticed was in WWECW and I think it was RVD vs Kevin Thorn. But yeah, most guys know how to hide it. They usually do it during a headlock or something and personally the spots I've seen lately dont really require calling. That or they're getting better at memorizing.

I have noticed jeff hardy mess up a few times like 1 of the above posters said with jeff and jbl jeff messed up a spot with rosey the superhero i believe and some other guy rosey had matt on a table the other guy was going to splash on matt but jeff makes the save buy knocking him off the ropes but jeff took to long and the guy was acting like he was going to fall and just stalling after a few seconds the guy was like "c'mon jeff dammit" and jeff shooked the ropes from the other side of the ring

I had kind of poor picture quality this week for RAW since I was watching it online, but it almost looked like Kofi was silently counting along with the ref during the three count. It could have been totally different, but it just looked that way to me.

An original poem inpsired by Kofi Kingston:
"1-2-3! I'm a Jobber to the Stars. Count me out; give me my check; and see you at the bars!"
