New Camera Angles?

Getting Noticed By Management
Since NXT WWE has tried out new camera angles during matches. I notice during Raw's 6 man tag, the match had all kinds of close up camera shots, with camera men moving around during the action leading to blurry camera shots and focus issues. This is while watching in HD.

Not only that I notice the camera focus's on more closes ups during the match than ever before, some times missing the spot or action all together, like for instance the TLC match between Cena & Orton instead of showing the chair shot it focused on a close up when the chair shot hit it showed I think Orton's face instead of the attack.

I understand its the HD era, but to a point. Some just feels a little unprofessional IMO anyway.

Has anyone else noticed this? And whats your opinion on the new camera angles.

Personally I prefer the classic camera angles that show the full ring or at least part of the ring. It seems like today the WWE has the camera changing from far to extreme close up within seconds. If you don't really notice it just watch a match from the 90's compared to a recent match on Raw.

I think its OK to a point, but when you start missing action, and it gets blurry and sloppy, or just flat out overkill of switching from regular view to close up its almost annoying to watch. Just my take I guess.

At the end of the day, I want it to feel like watching "wrestling" or a "sport" fake entertainment or what ever you like to call it, I don't want it looking like a poorly shot action scene. In sports you just don't see the camera switching a million times within such a short amount of time.

I HATE the extreme amount of camera angle changes in WWE shows.

I wish they would show the full ring view for more than 2 seconds at a time.

I like the OCCASIONAL close-up camera angle or a high up camera angle from another view or when the action goes to the outside of the ring I understand the camera angles from the floor.

But I have noticed a lot of missed action because the camera angles were all screwed up.

I don't know if I'll ever get my wish but at least in NXT there is MUCH more of a full ring view than in Raw and SmackDown and maybe that's partly why I like it so much more than Raw or SmackDown sometimes.

As someone who is studying TV production in college, I've always thought that WWE should just simplify their camera shots

Like this:
- Full Ring shot
- A camera on each side the ring. On the floor
- Maybe a camera that get the whole set straight on
- and a camera that gets random crowd shots.

I haven't noticed this HD blur camera angle, but I'll keep an eye peeled to see.

I do know however, the cameramen zoom in and out whenever punches are thrown. They also shake their camera whenever there's a high impact move, almost like they are feeling it. A lot of trickery, but that's what the business is.

I've started to hate one particular camera affect that I have noticed of late. Is when one wrestler is getting beat down by multiple people, the camera starts to zoom in and out. I know I can't be the only one who is annoyed by that.

I hate that thing they do during Antonio's swing. Y'know, the trick where they zoom in and out on the victim to make it look like the camera is spinning with them? Nobody who works for WWE can do it properly, and I'm dizzy afterwards.

The zooming in and out is the WORST! Especially during Antonio's swing, I literally have to look away from the TV or I'll get nauseated. The same thing when you see someone getting stomped on and they go in and out like 50 times. It's ridiculous and unnecessary, it looks like the home videos I shot when I was 8 years old and got ahold of the camcorder.

I have seen a few cool shots introduced in recent months like where the camera is positioned on a corner turnbuckle, but overall I'm not a fan of excessive cuts. It's visually distracting.
