Oh I know I was saying that WCW had that one summer where they brought every viable celebrity they could into the fray such as NBA Stars, The No Limit Soldiers featuring Master P and Sillkk The Shocker, The Insane Clown Posse much clown love btw, Jay Leno and Kevin Eubanks of Tonight Show fame, David Arquette the worst world champion period, punk rock group The Misfits, Kiss who never wrestled but unleashed the Demon, and others that I probably forgot but the point is they brought some of the worst matches and stables EVER in the history of the sport
not the funniest just the stupidest.
which in my opinion would be Chris Masters...we don't need another Rick Rude there will never be a Rick Rude...masters cannot handle a mic or wrestle match, thats why i think he sucks
The Barbarian is another I despised. Here was a big guy, had some athletic talent, but the WWE decided he was stuck in Norse times and only wanted to destroy an opponent and toss them out of the ring to win via count out. There was no aspect of competition, nor was he ever interesting. It took Bret Hart and the British Bulldog to make interesting, entertaining matches with the guy.
Im not being racist here but the asian mist stuff has been used for years by Tajiri, he used it in ECW, I think he used it in Japan is well, the Great Muta did it originally. The ones they give a martial arts type gimmick is actually because that is the style of moves that they have been using previously.
Actually you are being ignorant of other wrestling styles, Lucha is a very high flying style with technique being an important aspect. But agree with Cryme tyme but it is a parody of a stereotype that people have, Vince is exploiting it, so what. As for Kamala, he was doing his gimmick well before he even got anywhere close to WWF, he is still doing the gimmick in the Indies so he is not a good example. The Nation of Domination was a parody of the Nation of Islam, Remember that this started during the attitude era, its point was to be edgy and on th border of crossing the line.
^Actually I am allowed to break down what you said and give my PoV of what you said and debate what you said, that is sort of the point of the Forums. As for one of your points there you are right I should give my opinion on the worst gimmick ever but right now I don't have time and I will edit this post later to say what I think.
