I would have to add

1. When Goldust got electrocuted, and started studdering and spazing out when he talked, it was kinda funny, but was really dumb too.

2. DDP (WWE)- what a let down, Vince really wanted to make the WCW guys look like crap when they went to his show, what a joke

3. Honkeytonk Man- I mean I repect the man and all, and he has had some great moments, and was even the IC champ for what seemed like forever, but the Elvis gimmick, come on.

I have to agree with most of the ones already listed, except for Papa Shango I though the character was pretty good, they coulda made him a huge heel had they pushed him right.


Anyways there's quite a few horrible gimmicks recently I think Orlando Jordan's gimmick is terrible! I get it he's openly bi-sexual but thats all the reason for you to make him a tougher character.


In the past I think Jeff Jarrett's original WWE gimmick was pretty bad, Bart and Billy Gunn's tag team was painful to watch. I dont think Cowboys belong anywhere in Wrestling and yes this includes Bob Orton. Jim Ross doesnt count because he never reall had the gimmick just the hat.


Glacier as mentioned before was brutal... To me the worst was Ed Ferrara's "OK" gimmick (the rib on good ol' JR) it was just a train wreck JR is one of the best wrestling announcers of all time and for them to rip on him was just terrible. Come to think of it any gimmick that Russo came up with while in WCW should be on this list.

I can't really more because all the good ones have already been mentioned.

The only one I totally disagree with is Mr America, as it wasnt meant to be a serious gimmick. We were all meant to know it was Hogan under the mask, that was part of the fun. Even Vince (the guy Hogan was supposed to be tricking) knew it was Hulk. It was pretty funny I thought, seeing this old washed up wrestler outwitting Vinny Mac.

MMA Badass, not so good either. He couldn't talk, and I found him pretty generic.

Gunner Scott
Poor Brent, having to play the intern of Chris Benoit's.

Naked.. Mideon
So, he goes from dumb hick to well dressed hick bodyguard then to a captive then to a jobber who carried his eye everywhere and finally someone almost naked. Poor.

Perry Saturn
His mop infatuation was too similar to Al Snow and Head.

I can't believe noone mentioned another gimmick done by demolition member Smash when he was in WCW. Hole in One Barry Darsow. He was a golfer

Sounds more like a prototype Val Venus

I see his son is now in the wrestling biz, he was involved in an XDivision 3way qualification match on IMPACT. In my opinion he did not suit the X style but he did look fundamentally sound. Possibly too small for WWe though.
