World Tag Titles vs. WWE Tag Titles: The Miz and Morrison vs. the Colons

I agree with most said here. I am way dissapointed with this being a Lumberjack match cause that will draw away from the superstars in the ring which is just dumb. It also adds to the chance that the match may end without a clean ending on someone will get involved which sucks majorly.

Ok let say it was a normal tag team match what make it any different then the match we saw on ECW and smackdown ? See The PPV match aren't suppose to be matches you can see on Free TV their suppose to be different or else why spend 80 dollar on a normal tag match

Three things:
1. It's Wrestle-friggin'-mania.
2. It's for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships
3. They'll be working their arses off because of the previous two points.

I was highly looking forward to this match. While the Lumberjack stip mildly annoys me, I doubt it'll totally ruin the match.

Because alot of people would rather see these 4 guys give it their all with everything in their arsenal of moves thrown at eachother. Lumberjack matches are lame. With all the people on the oustide, the teams cant wrestle to their true potential. With a stupid lumberjack match, the lumberjacks just get in the way and might cost one of the teams their tag titles, which would spoil the match. The winner should pin the loser cleanly, so that their unified tag titles mean more.

Plus have you watched their matches? Just "regular tag matches" have been some of the best on tv right now. Id rather see another one of those when the lights are on bright then the lamest of gimmick matches stinking it up

I am looking forward to this match because it will like the matches that they have had on smackdown and ecw but i imagine it being 100 times better because it is on the grandest stage of them all, wrestlemania. I think this match may be a dark horse for the match of wrestlemania. All the guys in the match are smart wrestlers and know that they will have to make this a match of a life time.

Again i am just going to say that the lumberjack part of the match is just a way of getting wrestlers that aren't on the card apart of the show. No point really but could be interesting

I just think it pointless to pay for a Normal wrestling match on PPV when you can get it for free on TV even though the wrestler suck still im not going to waste my money on a normal wrestling match unless its their first time wrestling each other

Yeah, because the lumberjacks are oh so exciting. They do exciting moves like a few punches, kicks, and *gasp* puts the guy back in the ring! That's better than anything these two talented teams could ever come up with on their own.

Okay seriously, what the fuck? This stipulation makes no sense and you know it. These two teams have been fueding for weeks, over each others belts and the Bellas. So why should the match that settles everything involve a bunch of random superstars, most of which aren't even tag teams, that have nothing to do with either team?

Like I said, this match should involve to M&M and the Colons ONLY. The Bellas are the only one's that should be at ringside, and I doubt even that's going to happen; with all the lumberjacks, will there even be room for them?

And if they needed a gimmick for this, why a lumberjack match? Why not a cage or 2 out of 3 falls or something? Hell, a fucking tables match would've been better than picking arguably the lamest gimmick match of all time. And the way this came about was equallly dumb. Morrison tries to leave a match ONE TIME, out of all the matches they've had, he tries to walk once and that instantly calls for a lumberjack match. As if Miz & Morrison would actually try that at 'Mania.

This stipulation is beyond dumb

Ok so the Lumberjack match wasn't the best idea, but I like how it gets everyone involved. Who knows, perhaps one of the lumberjacks will intervene and cost one them the match. Maybe Cryme Tyme of Jesse/Festus or even Ryder/Hawkins will do something to screw the Colons or Miz/Morrison over.

I guessed there would be the ''Annual WrestleMania Lumberjack/Jill Match''. It's just a shame it's this one. I dislike all of the wrestlers in this match. But I fully expected them to put on a really entertaining 6 minutes. They'd go out and give it their all, because they're not likely to get another oppertunity like it. But as it is it'll be even more of a nothing match than it already is.

Has there ever been a good Lumberjack match? At least the male wrestlers will be able to do some convincing offence.

This looks like a match that would be a solid opener to the show. I'm a fan of all 4 of these guys, and I think it's great all four of them are getting their chance to shine, but more importantly, I'm looking forward to getting new Unified Tag Team Champions despite originally being against it a few weeks earlier. Making it a Lumberjack matches doesn't harm not benefit the quality of the match itself. The storyline to the match has been decent I guess, but they've faced each other too many times for it to feel relatively fresh and interesting.

It probably won't last more than 10 minutes, but it's not meant to. Also, a few days ago I read a report that mentioned the Miz is really pumped for the match. He wants to "steal the show" and one day become the poster boy for the company. It's great that he has passion for the business, and I'm hoping this means that this Tag Team Title match should be one to remember. Whether or not the tag team division will be "fixed" after this has yet to be determined, but I wouldn't place any bets on it. As for who will actually win the match and take home the titles...

I'm going to say Primo and Carlito here. I thought about the match result for quite a while, and I've come up with the conclusion that it is better for everybody if the Colons win here. First of all let's face it, The Miz and John Morrison are going to break up eventually, whether you like it or not. They need to go their separate ways and breakout as singles star, and I think it will happen this year for at least one of them. Also, wouldn't you want an actual tag team to be the "first" Unified Tag Team Champions? Miz and Morrison were two single stars who were basically thrown together.

So I personally think Primo and Carlito will take home the gold while the Miz and Morrison could possibly breakup as early as Wrestlemania. It should be a good match, but nothing mindblowing.

Another great meh. Miz and Morrison are light years ahead of the Colons, but for some reason they're saddled with them in this match. Oh and, there's going to be like 50 people surrounding the ring or something stupid like that. Way to go Koslov.

Who should win this match, Miz and Morrison. Out of the two teams, they are so much better then Carlos little boys. Carrying around the Slammy's and two sets of golden belts would be awesome for their characters, and really feed the egos.

However, I really think that the WWE is looking to split the Miz and Morrison up come draft time, so I'm guessing te Colons win. It's bad enough they are champions of one brand, but the prospect of them representing both brands is simply nauseating.

They will try to impress, I would guess. (AH!!! RHYMES!!!) 4 young guys, in a huge unifacation bout. No idea why the fuck the lumberjacks need to be here. they make little logical sense to this match or the storyline. Apparently thats the creative direction WWE went this year. "No logical sense whatsoever". Anyway, M&M are pretty superior, but you have to try and figure out what they want to do here, and with the draft. Word is, they want to increase the hispanic demographic on SD! so it would make sense to have the mexican team win the titles, look strong, and have Mastrio back on SD. Also, they can split M&M this way, and allow them to fufill singles potential. This is probably the hardest match to call on the whole card, really. meh, ill go with the Colons

This match could be really good if it's given a decent amount of time and the lumberjacks don't get too involved.

I see this having the most predictable swerve turn since the Big Show/Vickie thing with Undertaker last year. I think the babyface Bella twin will turn on the Colons and Morrison & Miz will leave with both of the titles and both of the Bella Twins.

WWE Tag Team Champions Colon (c) v World Tag Team Champions The Miz & Morrison (c) - This is actually a really tough match to call. Since the match was made I've been thinking that Miz and Morrison will win it but, I dunno, I hope and expect that Morrison, and to a lesser extent the Miz, get pushes now as single competitors. So for me, Colon will win. Morrison & Miz will blame it on each other, have a match on RAW the night after, then next week get drafted to different brands.

This match will be exciting in my opinion, could well be the match that steals the show so to speak. They are all talented performers and noone is expecting a classic, but if given a good 10 minutes plus it should be a great tag team match. Don't see the need for the Lumberjacks though, suppose they just needed to give the non-performers something to do.

Miz & Morrison become unified tag champions - Televised losses to the Colon brothers applied to the opposite momentum rule, equals a win for Miz and Morrison. Besides, Miz and Morrison deserve it more.

IT IS A SHAME. I was looking foward to this match. They have put good matches on RAW SMackdown and ECW and this could have opened the show. They were short on time and it's a shame that Vince chose to cut Carlito out of WM yet again. How about Kid Rock annoying us forever before the Diva's match and JBL's promo before his historic WM. Cut that out and at least you have a decent finish to the mai event of the night

I was kinda annoyed that this became the dark match as well, considering how titles were changing hands and unified. Real bad call by the WWE on this one, they could have pushed the match back to Raw and had a match between a couple of the guys that didn't make "the show" but to take out a title match is pretty bogus to me.

I'm very upset that this was left off the card. I had no idea it became a dark match since I didn't check wwe.com or any wrestling sites today. I was really looking forward to this match, so you can imagine the pain and confusion I felt during the show when I realized that it was missing a match. I basically paid for 9 matches and got 8 plus a shitty concert.

I don't know why Kid Rock's stupid concert was so fucking long. I thought he'd just do one song like past performers, but he did like four. In the words of John Morrison "We don't listen to Kid Rock in the Palace of Wisdom".

We actually lucked out and missed that crap. We had about a 20 minute delay and had to pause the DVR due to technical issues at my friends house, so when we came back to it we just fast-forwarded through all that crap as soon as we heard him come on. It went sorta like this:

TV: "BAWITABAH..."
US: "SHIT...CHANGE IT!!! FAST FORWARD!!!"

Yeah I was kind of disappointed this match didn't make the actual card! I mean, there was not ONE Tag Team match on the whole damn card, instead you get Jericho vs. the Legends (which at least got a bit entertaining as soon as Ricky Steamboat got into the ring - hey, this guy can still go!), but which got lame once Mickey Rourke started his thing (which just took waaaay too long for him to finally get into the ring), and a 25 Diva Battle Royal with no other purpose whatsover than to have Santino Marella play drag queen for a solid 5 minutes... oh please...

WWE could've scrapped either of this, or even the pointless Mysterio/JBL match for the tag match, which would at least have been an interesting match from a wrestling point of view. Too bad WWE doesn't give a sh*t about their tag team division.

I was confused as all hell when we were getting towards the main matches and the tag title match was yet to happen. I was beginning to think it was gonna be the filler between the two world title matches. And once Trips/Orton came on I was very disappointed in the fact it didn't make the card. Those four could have put on a stellar match and entertained us.

I really wish they would've given us this, instead of the 20 minutes of pure crap we got from Kid Rock and the Battle Royal.

I figured that WWE would give the win to Miz & Morrison, because they are a ton more popular, and are better overall, in the ring, and on the mic. I wanted to see the Colons win, because the WWE Tag Titles are supposed to be bigger in the WWE.

Them not putting this match on the PPV, just makes me feel even more that they don't mean anything. At least we got 21 seconds to enjoy an IC match.

Taking of John Morrison and Carlito from Wrestlemania in a unified tag title match. Great job WWE take of 2 of your better athletes instead of letting us watch Santina Marella dance for 5 minutes. Mickey Rourke take 5 minutes to get to the damn ring. 12 minutes of Kid Rock. You could've scrapped all of that terrible garbage and put on a match that could've stole the show. With those 4 wrestlers you had a great match with high stakes. But once again WWE needs all of those stupid celebrities ruining the show.

FUCK KID ROCK Morrison is my favorite guy on the roster and to job him out to an irrelevant White Thrash bum singing some shit 4 12minutes, a slo-mo Mickey Rourke taking 4ever and a day to get into the ring, a quad bike tearing around the ring and a drag queen dancing made me want to throw my shoe at the tv.

No wait its not.. I paid for 9 matches and i totally didnt get it. JBL/Mysterio cannot be classed as a match, the divas battle royal was a joke and they just literally robbed us of a unification match.

oh and hhh/orton sucked donkey balls.
