World Championship: UnderTaker(c) vs CM Punk vs Batista vs Rey Mysterio

I think this is bigger than the SmackDown vs Raw match in the main event and the other WWE Title match with Cena and Orton. There is a crazy amount of main event in this match with 4 former World Champions. This probably will be the show stealer as said in the title and once again proves that SmackDown > Raw. I wonder if this takes away from the SmackDown vs Raw main event with only 1 of these guys being in the main event and they pretty much represent smackdown (besides Jericho). Who else would be in the SvR main event if 3 of these guys are out? There really isn't anyone else left besides Jericho and Morrison to be in a PPV main event. Anyways, I can't wait for this.

Your thoughts.

Hell yea, I just read the Smackdown spoilers and this is gonna be a great match actually. I'm going to the event, so I can't wait to see it in person. We haven't seen a fatal 4 way for the world championship in who knows how long, and since it's a fatal 4 way, there's more star power in the match, so Batista can't look like shit (As much). I agree with you, i'm looking forward to this more than the ironman match, mostly because I dislike the cena/orton feud. But, this should be the match of the night, if it is booked right.

As for the SD vs Raw tag match, it'll probably be full of midcarders, except Jericho and Big Show. I hope Matt Hardy finds his way into this match, but he's having a shitty time right now, so idk. Maybe, main eventers will participate, having 2 matches in one night. They do that sometimes.

this is a great match im really looking forward to it as im sure most of you are im thinking about ordering the ppv im not sure yet but as for my outcome of this match. I have no idea i pretty sure undertaker will keep the title here and him and batista will start fueding over the title for till wrestlemania or something like that

how the heck did Rey get into the title scene so fast..even Batista..regardless Im happy there's always something fresh to look forward to on SD..

Little offtopic here: but I hope DX fights Jericho/Show for the titles..maybe they can try to resurrect the tag division a little..

This is what i think: Undertaker will win this match and eventually start a feud with Cena who will come from Raw. He must have a wm match with Cena before his career is over right? Do you think of a better main event? I go for Undertaker for this match and Orton for the WWE Championship match.

I like it alot. Im glad that its not just Batista vs Taker like orignally thought. We have seen that riveraly and every match type including last man standing and hell in a cell so really that match in my opinon between the two is really worn. I like putting Punk in it so it makes it so Punk doesnt just disapear off the main event picture after that huge rollar coaster of a ride punk went on becoming a top heel. Hes got momentum and this is one way to keep it going by keeping him while not the only one,a title challenger. From here he can break off and fued with mysterio if they truly do Batista vs Taker again for the bizzilionth time.

The one thing that I'm happy about is that Punk is still in the title picture. I'm I looking forward to the match? Not really, I'd rather see Punk and Taker continueing their feud one on one until Punk beats him cleanly, but that won't happen. I think that Taker retains though and starts a program with Batista :disappointed:

Hmmmm this match could be really interesting.Although I think The Undertaker will win this will be an interesting match hopefully followed by an interesting lead up.After this match it will also be interesting to see who is fueding with who.

Does anyone else think that this is possibly just a way to get the World Title back around CM Punk's waist without having him defeat the Undertaker to do it?

Being a fatal 4-way match I think it's very likely that Punk could pin someone else (most likely Mysterio) and walk out with the Gold again.

Just my prediction...anyone agree?

My theory, The Undertaker will retain and in the process start a feud with Batista afterwards. Now to the WWE title match, Orton will retain and Cena will head to Smackdown, Punk has been talking shit about Cena slightly for a bit, I think these are hints of a Punk vs Cena feud. I am probably wrong but this is how I see it going down. What will Rey do after this? Go back to the IC division or go lose to Drew MacanTyre (what ever his name is)

My mind is over flowing with ideas here, such as DiBiase with/without Rhodes will try to cost Orton his Ironman match setting up DiBiase vs Orton for Survivor Series or Armageddon (if they still have that planned face turn to promote Marine 2). Punk could cost Cena the Ironman match, maybe Punk will try to help Cena but inadvertently help Orton as he wants Cena to stay off Smackdown. Maybe someone else will try to stop Cena from going to Smackdown. So many possibilities that probably won't happen

I am looking forward to this match as well. Keeping Punk in the main event scene is a good move after the disappointing loss at HIAC.

It'll be interesting what feuds come out of this match up. I'm hoping Punk finds a way to win, and continue the feud with Taker.

Also, this is a long shot and most likely wont happen. But reading through the spoilers and reading the segment with Batista and Rey, what if after the match Batista and Rey come out of this match feuding with each other? Also this would probably require Cena to lose to Orton and jump ship to Smackdown. Personally, I'm not a fan of Batista at all...but a heel turn would make him a little more interesting. But like I said, it's a long shot, and WWE most likely wont take that route.

I think that putting cena on smackdown will put every else that is contender ready down so cena can win the title from punk or taker..I think that batista vs rey for the world title sounds good

I think it's pretty clear who will feud with who after this Fatal 4-way is said and done. Batista/Taker... again. Which isn't a bad thing because they put on some damn good matches. Punk/Mysterio should be interesting because you have one guy back from suspension punishment, and the other guy in the doghouse because he ran his mouth about having to do something Cena doesn't... or something. Which he's in the doghouse for good reason because Punk doesn't draw a tenth of what Cena does... like Cena or not.

With 3 Faces and 1 heel in the match I think one of the faces is bound to turn heel at Bragging Rights. With the possibility of Cena leaving RAW if he looses at Bragging Right (though the chances of that is like 0.001%), Whether or not Batista wins the World Title down the line, I think this is could set up a Batista/Cena rivalry by WM26.

As for CM Punk, its great to see him in the title hunt at Bragging Rights. I think it just shows that upper management still see him as a huge asset as the top heel of Smackdown! Maybe they will have a change of heart and give Punk another title run by Survivor Series?

When was the last time Undertaker and Mysterio were in the same match ? Only once I recall. It's rare to have those two in the same match. I'm suprised they've never tagged or even faced off for anything since 2003.

I hope they surprise us and have Morrison pop up some how and contend for the title. A push like that could solidify him as a top tier wrestler instead of 'low high-card.'

Undertaker heel turn would be great. A batista heel turn would be awesome because it would probably make him more interesting to watch.

Rey rey should not be in the title picture, he should be vying for the ICC instead. It's like he is getting rewarded after being suspended.

Cena vs Orton - Orton will retain

4 way - Taker retains

That said, this could play out very well for both top shows.

Punk vs Rey for #1 contender qualifier
Cena vs Batista " "

Which would lead to a Cena vs Punk for the #1 contender shot and knowing the WWE it'd be a double dq/pinfall, which leads into a triple threat at the next PPV, so Cena vs Punk vs Taker.

Cena on SD! would be much more entertaining and it only seems logical, if he can't fight Orton who is he going to fight? After reading the spoilers as well Long promoting that Cena is welcome to come to SD! just makes it seem more and more possible.

I can't wait to see this match. I'm hoping it will be bigger than the iron man match with Cena and Orton. I can't really picture Cena leaving raw and feuding with one of these guys, but I feeling that orton will retain the title in some crazy way. Out of the four in the match, I can only see Cena and Taker feuding. The feud would bring about some classic matches.

I am actually really looking forward to this match, i have high expecatations for this match, so i really hope it doesnt let me down, i expect Undertaker to retain but only just then maybe get attacked by Batista who will turn heel and maybe become less boring. This is shaping us to be a quite good pay per view.

All of the sudden the title scenes are interesting again. Although, I was just fine w/ CM Punk holding gold...

I think Cena definitely loses to Orton. He's filming a movie in December. And it just feels like the right move, making room for Orton/Dibiase.

Smackdown can go just about a dozen ways. I feel like Taker retains, setting up Batista/Rey and another month of Punk/Taker.

It will be VERY interesting to see what happens if Cena returns to Smackdown. I have heard rumors of a Taker/Cena match at Mania. Or Cena/Punk. But Batista still owes Cena a job from Summerslam. And there is still the possibility of an Edge return. Does he go to RAW? I was really looking forward to Punk/Edge or Jericho/Edge.

Can anyone tell me how the booking for this makes any sense? I know it has marquee value but in terms of story line it is just freaking stupid.

You have two guys who had nothing to do with the main event and who LOST at the last pay per view to two other former world champions in the title picture? How in the hell does that make any sense, surely the winning team deserves that honor even if they are occupied...

I am just nit picking but it just angers me when stuff like this is done in the WWE.

On the actual match, I feel with three good workers in Undertaker, Mysterio and Punk this match should be good, and Batista I think can turn it up and at least be alright when the lights are on bright so I am expecting nothing less then a 3 1/2 star match with a couple of big spots.

Although I am actually looking forward to the Iron Man Match more.

Just My Opinion

This is really cheap booking, and part of the reason I don't watch WWE regularly. We know they want to set up a 'Taker v. Batista feud, and they want to use this to catapult that. Since they can't have that match here, they add in Punk, giving him his rematch. And, since no one except KB would buy him competing in a Triple Threat like that, they add in Rey, so it works as a Fatal Fourway.

The problem is that CM Punk is the only heel here, and is going to be squashed...Again. It's sad. If they don't think he is a credible champion, then don't put the belt on him. Simple as that. If he is, then stop fucking hi mover like this.

I'm positive Undertaker leaves with the belt, maybe with Batista turning heel in the match by decking Rey as he goes for a pin.

i know its taker/batista maybe but what im really interested in is a mysterio/punk feud to develop, that could be so interesting some brilliant technical high flying matches, maybe ending at wrestlemania in a showsstopping grudge match

Undertaker will defeat Batista, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio and retain the World Heavyweight Championship for sure at Bragging Rights. CM Punk has been talking about Cena a little bit in what seems to be build up to a feud. Batista and Rey Mysterio are both just now coming back and there's just no way either will walk out as champion. Undertaker has been on fire since he came back. His promos have been nice and his style is ever changing and still gets over with the fans. Hopefully this will be a great match and he's deserving of a long title reign.

No real clue who takes this one but it's certainly not Batista (turning heel) or Rey (just back from suspension). Taker has to be the favourite but actually I think Punk has a real chance here...if creative decide that he'd be better off feuding with Cena over the belt, and that the Taker/Batista feud that's building would be better off without the belt. Which is perfectly plausible.
